My Coke Rewards

Anyone actually bother with this bullshit?

by Anonymousreply 2503/05/2015

Yes, but I have no idea why. I have over 2500 points, but all they have is junk I have no use for. I used to drink two or three 12-packs of Diet Coke with Lime a week, but I've sworn off and don't buy it anymore.

Got some good stuff. Tees, gym bags, but the best are the magazine subscriptions. They are less than 400 points, A whole year of EW? Not bad.

by Anonymousreply 207/31/2013

A woman I work with collects them. I give her all my points. She gives me homemade monster cookies in return.

by Anonymousreply 307/31/2013

My partner and I have been doing it for years. It's too bad they stopped selling an aspartame-free version of Diet Coke, we'd have millions of points by now!

by Anonymousreply 407/31/2013

What are monster cookies R3? They sound cool!

by Anonymousreply 507/31/2013

They have peanut butter, M&Ms, chocolate chips and oatmeal in them. Yummy!

I lost all my coke receipts in a fire.

by Anonymousreply 807/31/2013

Do people know that there is Caffeine Free Coke Zero?

I just saw it in the store yesterday. Maybe it's been around forever, but I didn't know they made it - and I'm a big fan of regular Cock Zero.

by Anonymousreply 907/31/2013

I use them for magazine subscriptions.

by Anonymousreply 1007/31/2013

There was an aspartame free version of diet coke? Awesome.

So many people are addicted to this shit, so another crafty way to keep them on it. I used it once to enter a competition for Olympics tickets.

by Anonymousreply 1107/31/2013

I just got a free red Weirdo in the mail!

by Anonymousreply 1207/31/2013

I used them for tickets to Universal Studios.

by Anonymousreply 1307/31/2013

[quote]I'm a big fan of regular Cock Zero.

Ooh, I NEED to find this! Regular Cock just goes straight to my ass.

by Anonymousreply 1407/31/2013

I spent a couple months once entering codes from box tops I'd saved over time. They only let you enter so many codes a week so I'd keep a stack by the computer and enter them every week or so when I thought of it.

Well, apparently if you don't enter any codes for 30 days you LOSE all your previously entered points. I wasted all that time entering barely legible codes only to lose everything. Except for the wasted time, I didn't really care too much. I could never find anything to use the points for anyway. I worked with a guy who did it years ago and got free DVD sets and movie tickets somehow but I never saw anything like that offered.

"I worked with a guy who did it years ago and got free DVD sets and movie tickets somehow but I never saw anything like that offered."

Is it possible that some people aren't even smart enough for Coke Rewards?

by Anonymousreply 1607/31/2013

What are you saying, r16? When I was entering points the catalog never offered DVD sets or movie passes. Obviously they did at one point since my co-worker was able to redeem points for both.

by Anonymousreply 1707/31/2013

They have AMC movie passes all the time. Sometimes with coupons for free coke and popcorn, too.

At Christmas time they have gift cards for places like Best Buy, Home Depot and McDonalds.

by Anonymousreply 1808/01/2013

Can you imagine giving someone a gift card to McDonald's for Christmas? What a great way to say that you really don't give a fuck about a person.

by Anonymousreply 1908/01/2013

r9 = Freudian slip?

by Anonymousreply 2008/01/2013

I think I tried to keep up with this in the beginning, but eventually I gave up.

In 2000 or so, I somehow received a Coke Card in the mail. Anyone remember those?

by Anonymousreply 2108/01/2013

R8 = Whitney!

by Anonymousreply 2208/01/2013

I worked in the Coke system for over 13 years.

I never touch the stuff.

BTW, the primary audience for the Coke Rewards is teenagers. They spend A LOT of time trying to convert adolescents to their product line, since many consumers form beverage preferences as teens.

by Anonymousreply 2308/01/2013

Wait, there are rewards?

by Anonymousreply 2408/01/2013

Who else is upset that you can only put 75 points max each week now. And the rewards are never updated and they make you jump through hoops to get points. Ugh.
