People who will be forgotten a few years from now

I think Chris Colfer is going to be forgotten in a few years. He has neither the talent nor the looks to sustain a career.

And also Jennifer Lawrence. My god, am I glad her face won't be plastered everywhere. I find her annoying.

Jennifer Lawrence? Dream on, OP.

by Anonymousreply 106/30/2013

Jennifer Lawrence couldn't possibly be as annoying as the poster who rarely misses a day telling us she's going to be gone soon.

You need to do something about your festering resentment, OP. It's going to eat you alive.

by Anonymousreply 206/30/2013

What exactly is annoying about Jennifer Lawrence, OP?

by Anonymousreply 306/30/2013

R3, She's a bad actress and she get praised way too much. And it's also that reaction you get when you see a very unremarkable person showered in praise. I'd join in the worship if she actually had any talent.

by Anonymousreply 406/30/2013

R3 Also I find her personality annoying. I watched an interview where she interrupted the interviewer to order McDonald's. That's retarded if you ask me.

by Anonymousreply 506/30/2013

Oh, for God's sake, Chris Colfer isn't even a person. He's a non-entity, whose "fame" is totally reliant on U-Tube.

by Anonymousreply 606/30/2013

Why you're just a big ole bundle of neurosis, aren't cha OP?

by Anonymousreply 706/30/2013

You realize that's a subjective judgment, R4?

Many other people (myself included) believe she may be one of the very few young actresses working today who has a chance for a long and successful career.

Hopefully she won't follow in Streep's footsteps and opt to make one mediocre movie after another.

by Anonymousreply 806/30/2013

R6 Casper, that wasn't very friendly.

by Anonymousreply 906/30/2013

Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill

by Anonymousreply 1006/30/2013

I think r6 is confusing Chris Colfer with Chris Crocker.

by Anonymousreply 1106/30/2013

Jennifer Lawrence is locked into two franchises that will keep her famous at least through 2016.

Meanwhile, the Twilight people have already been forgotten because they are untalented and their movies are considered national jokes.

by Anonymousreply 1206/30/2013

Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian.

by Anonymousreply 1306/30/2013

Celebrities like Chris Colfer are type of celebrities who in the 70s, would have ended up as panelists on celebrity driven gameshows.

Me. I admit it. My only gigs these days are the grand re-opening of the remodeled rooms at my family's hotels.

by Anonymousreply 1606/30/2013

PH will be remembered for her name, the way Pia Zadora is.

by Anonymousreply 1706/30/2013

Ben Maisani. If he's mentioned he'll be "the bar owner who married that old guy who sits in Andy Rooney's place on 60 Minutes."

by Anonymousreply 1806/30/2013

Yeah, like R12 said whether you like or hate Jennifer Lawrence there are like four Hunger Game movies still coming out. She isn't going anywhere for a while.

And R10, Seth Rogen just had another huge hit with "This is the End". I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Seth Rogan has about five more years of doing stoner comedies. Then he'll have another decade of playing the curmudgeonly dad in forgettable family comedies.

He'll still make regular appearances as a presenter on award shows, under the mistaken belief that the guy is actually funny.

by Anonymousreply 2006/30/2013

Seth's heat index will continue to rise and I predict he will get a lot of notice for playing either a villain in a very popular franchise or a leading man in a tear jerker.

No one who wins Best Actress ever really goes away.

by Anonymousreply 2207/01/2013

Most of us. If you expand the criteria to 20 years, all.

AIDS has been forgotten for a long time, but new infections are on the rise. Read this piece about the early days of AIDs in GAWKER:

Chris Colfer wrote Struck By Lightning, which was quite decent. Even if his career on-screen winds down, he could have continued success behind-the-scenes.

The Chris Colfer troll strikes again. It must really burn your ass that he is successful. Just this week alone.

Kelly Preston

Paola Negri

Jennifer Garner

Chris Colfer, like Lance Bass and the guy who played Ricky on My So Called Life, will eventually be relegated to exclusively doing photo ops at gay-oriented social events and maybe having a Sirius show.

by Anonymousreply 3108/20/2013

Don't omit the inevitable bulking up to prove manliness, R31.

by Anonymousreply 3208/20/2013

r28, most of those people have already been forgotten (Seriously, what happened to Big Gay Al Reynolds?)
