I can't live without Datalounge. I can definitely cope but I will always think back to this site. It's because it's an awesome site. :)
What can you not live without?

The most immediate thing that comes to my mind is toilet paper, I am unwilling to go without it.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||06/28/2013|
These days, my air conditioner.

The anger I still have for my Geometry teacher who repeatedly tortured me with fibs like knowledge of the Pythagorean theorem would be important in my life. I can fold those Banana Republic jeans at work like a motherfucker without it.

good coffee, a juicy burger, Blue Marble ice cream, cable t.v., internet radio, my turntable and vinyl records, the daily newspaper, a good book, KITTIES, Eat St. (it's a show on The Cooking Channel that showcases food truck cuisine) soft towels, clean sheets, almond scented goat milk soap, Entertainment Weekly magazine, yes, I'm serious, my bright blue old lady bicycle, fresh cut flowers and my herb garden.

Intellectual stimulation. Thank goodness for my personal library (about 1,000 books) and the Internet.

Good sci-fi books.

My singing voice (NOT bragging! just love to sing; the odd semi-pro (means got paid a stipend) and amateur musicals, operetta (YEARS ago),weddings, church services, funerals; college and city choirs, big deal. These days I sing to myself, to CDs, etc. but I would HATE not being able to.
My TV! I will admit it.
Finally, DL: LOVE you guys!

I could totally live without my sphincter. It is the strongest muscle in my body. I daresay I could castrate some of you.
The only reason OP would ever ask such a question is so he can take this thing from you for sport, so I think you should only use reverse psychology in your answers.

Good food. Good fresh, tasty, nourishing, comforting food.
When I'm rich I eat out a lot, and when I'm poor I cook. If you've got no money and can't afford to go anywhere, turning humble ingredients into something wonderful is better for the body than cheap processed crap, and is good for the soul as well.

My supply of kiehls and borghese. And GH.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||06/29/2013|
Bread. Could never, ever do that stupid Atkins thing. Bread is life and beer is just liquid bread.
Music. It calms, invigorates and helps me think. I'm not a musician - far from it - but life without music would be very bland.
Summer. Life without the warm sunshine, green grass and flowers, long days and swimming pools would be hell on earth. Hell (IMO) is winter in Minnesota ALL THE TIME. Can you imagine never seeing the sun or green grass again? Shudder.

I'm with R29. Life without bread and butter and sugar isn't worth living. Fuck you food/diet Nazis.
