PAKISTAN

Was originally an acronym.

It stood for Punjab Afghania Kashmir Iran Sind Turkharistan Afghanistan baluchistaN.

So the whole "stan" thing of naming Muslim countries is a ridiculous nonsense.

People need to visit Kazakhstan. That place is very beautiful and hot men.

BTW, not all Muslim countries have 'Stan' in there names.

Doesn't Stan mean obsessed of something? Muslims are very obsessed with their religion.

Kazakhstan men have HUGE thick cocks that they love to jam inside you. But they never kiss.

by Anonymousreply 206/28/2013

Yeah, you might want to check the last four letters of that spelled out name... Or do you mean that Balochistan is also an acronym?

by Anonymousreply 306/28/2013

Stan is an old Indo-European root word meaning something like "place." It is cognate with the English words "stand" as in "lemonade stand" and "stead" as in "homestead."

No Pakistan comes from Pahk which is "land of the pure"

No!

R4 is right. FYI, some trivia: India is also known as Hindustan - but it has nothing to do with Hinduism or the "land of the Hindus" as many people think. The word Hindu in Hindustan is a corruption of Sindhu, or Indus River. So the name actually means "land where the people of the Sindhu/Indus live". This makes sense in the context of the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation.

Here's a kicker.....just heard on Al Jareera that Pakistan is starting to deport the 3 millio0n Afghans who live there back to Afghanistan. If they can do that why is there a problem with Europe deporting all the islamic scum back to their shitholes?

by Anonymousreply 802/17/2015

That's a myth. Pahk means "Land of the pure" in Urdu.

by Anonymousreply 902/17/2015

Not quite, OP. It originally was PAKSTAN an acronym for Punjab Afghania (Province) Kashmir Sind BaluchiSTAN, the five northern regions of the British Raj. An "i" was added later to ease pronunciation.

Because Muslims don't care what Muslims do to other Muslims. Muslims only care what non-Muslims do to Muslims.

Do you feel the same way about European countries using the word "land" in their names?

by Anonymousreply 1202/17/2015

Fuck you!
