Hand Tendonitis

Finally joined a gym a few years and started working out. Was very happy with my results, but seem to have developed bad tendonitis in my hands. I've tried rest, ice, and anti-inflammatories, and it doesn't seem to be going away. Has anyone experienced a similar problem before? Is there a good way to get rid of it for good?

One method of treatment that the physical therapists use is warm parafin wax.

Can get a small unit at Bed..Bath and beyond. Dip hands 5 separate times ...cover with plastic bag and then towel and sit for 10 minutes.

Long term --

Whenever possible (bench press, shoulder press, etc, etc) use an open palm instead of a tight grip. Also, never pull the weight with your hands - just the muscle you're working.

Good luck.
