Looking For A Great Solar Charger
For my iPhone and iPad --
I'm getting conflicting reports from friends who have tried to find a good one.
Ideally I'd like to be able to put out the charger in the morning, have it collect the sun's rays all day, make and store electricity, and allow me to fully recharge my iPad or iPhone from "just about empty."
Also it would be great if the solar collector is waterproof so I didn't have to worry about getting it out of the rain.
Any DLers know of a great waterproof solar charger?

Not one DLer knows anything about solar chargers?
Surely some one else camps, hikes, or white waters … !

No one uses the sun to charge their electronic gear? Hmmm....
I thought DLers were savvier.

People are sheep, OP.
When it becomes hip to use solar chargers everyone will have one. But they need to be told first that it's good to have one.
