Sure, probably. Cut out alcohol, bread, sugar, pastry, pasta, potatoes, eat lots of protein and vegetables to fill you up.

R1 is completely right. Cutting off carbs is an very restrictive and specific eating plan that you are doing for the purpose of a temporary weightloss (and yes it will almost certainly be temporary unless you are planning on permanently going keto eating style).
It's a diet, it will work in the short run, but don't be surprised to gain more than you lost once you start munching on carbs again.
But yes, low carb is an effective way to lose weight, no one can really argue that.
