Now that Congress has repealed the 22nd Ammendment, will you vote for President Obama in 2016?

I plan to, unless something really drastic happens, which I doubt.

by Anonymousreply 2005/21/2013

Congress can't repeal an amendment alone.

OP, please read the Constitution you are attempting to use for a weak-and-trolly thread before posting. Otherwise your stupidity is more apparent than even the chimp you are likely wishes.

by Anonymousreply 205/19/2013

It's always hilarious when freeper trolls try to pass themselves off as liberals. They always get it dead wrong.

IF the amendment were repealed, and IF Obama were to run for a third term, and IF he won the primaries, then YES, I'd vote for him without hesitation.

by Anonymousreply 505/19/2013

What? Is this supposed to be funny? IS IT?

by Anonymousreply 605/19/2013

Umm.. I'm pretty sure that I'm in line for a third term before Barack.

This is like when Howard Stern's goon staff asks people on the street about a news story that didn't really happen (and usually couldn't really happen) just to get a rise out of them and make people reveal their foolishness.

Like Judge Judy being nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court. I used that one a few times too.

by Anonymousreply 1005/20/2013

If Obama would become more FDR-like, yes.

by Anonymousreply 1105/20/2013

Golly, yeah OP. I'm just going to keep on voting for him until Malia is old enough to take office.

Thanks for sharing this great news!

by Anonymousreply 1205/20/2013

OP they will find you in a field in your underwear.

by Anonymousreply 1305/20/2013

They would exclude any sitting president from a repeal of the 22nd Amendment to prove that it was not done to extend his or her presidency.

The reverse was done when the 22nd Amendment was added to the Constitution. The then-current President Truman was given the right to run for a third term as it had been his right to do so when he was inaugurated in 1949.

Obama will not be allowed to run again under any circumstances.

by Anonymousreply 1405/20/2013

Not if there is a progressive alternative.

by Anonymousreply 1505/20/2013

But consider this angle, sports fans. Do you think Barack is simply going to depart in January 2017 and work on his library? He will only be 56 years old, the absolute prime age for running for President. And he'll have 4 years to get the repeal passed in 3/4 states.

That sounds like a good rumor to get people riled up.

by Anonymousreply 1705/21/2013

Eh, I'd prefer Judge Judy to Judge Antonin.

by Anonymousreply 1805/21/2013

If that happened, then I could prove once and for all that he is a Stealth Republican. They need their yes-boy in there so Hillary can't ever win.

Hasn't he done everything the Neocons and the Illuminati wanted him to?

Eyeroll
