Where should I vacation Memorial Day weekend?
I'm taking a couple of extra days, so it would be Saturday-Wednesday.
Been in NY a bunch lately, so not there.
My favorite Caribbean island doesn't have any rooms at the place I love.
Looking to chill, meet and talk with interesting people, have some decent food / wine. I would prefer to be in shorts / blue jeans and not have to get too foofy.
I have a bad habit of going to my favorite places repeatedly, so no Vieques, Buenos Aires, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Toronto, or Montreal.
Europe or South America may be too far for a five day trip, anyway.
Suggestions? I'm in the southeastern US.

How about you go to Hell?
|by Anonymous||reply 4||05/16/2013|
I don't think I'd bother to go far if it's only S - W.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||05/16/2013|
Why don't you stay home and just think about what you've done?
|by Anonymous||reply 7||05/16/2013|
Why do you think I would care?
|by Anonymous||reply 8||05/16/2013|
Can't help but feel OP is going on an Extremely Short Trip
|by Anonymous||reply 9||05/16/2013|
Here is a thought, call a travel agent.
Why would anyone here care about your self absorbed question. What dose that contribute to the DL? Nothing.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||05/16/2013|
Have you ever been to you, OP?
|by Anonymous||reply 12||05/16/2013|
r12, your sig doesn't make sense.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||05/16/2013|
R12, OP has seen some things that a woman ain't supposed to see.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||05/16/2013|
ONJ did not sing it r12!!!
|by Anonymous||reply 15||05/16/2013|
Exactly r15. Everybody knows that was Barbara Streisand's first big hit and breakthrough.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||05/16/2013|
"ONJ did not sing it [R12]!!!"
Well, kiss mah grits!
|by Anonymous||reply 18||05/17/2013|
How big is your cock, OP?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||05/17/2013|
Go to South Beach... I hear Memorial Day Weekend is nice and quiet there.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||05/17/2013|
I was just going to post south beach myself.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||05/17/2013|
Sad that you have to ask mere mortals for suggestions.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||05/17/2013|
Are you that pathetic OP, that you come here to decide a vacation spot? Sad.

Disney World ... and bring a Rent-a-Cripple.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||05/17/2013|
R26. Frank Decaro listener also?
I LOVE the rent a cripple concept. I just wish I had one I could rent out.
Ohh a cripple pimp! My new post retirement career. They get $750 a day and I get $250. Could easily manage 10 a day. Buy me one of those used short buses to move them around.

Tahiti. Yes, it's a long flight, but there is not all that much to do there so you won't feel rushed.

Gay life in Cartagena, Colombia
|by Anonymous||reply 29||05/17/2013|
Since the new airport opened Panama City FL is becoming more gay friendly.
|by Anonymous||reply 30||05/17/2013|
Stay home and fuck a sock.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||05/17/2013|
Don't you have any friends to talk to, OP?
|by Anonymous||reply 32||05/17/2013|
R27 I've heard of Frank DeCaro but never listened to him. I made that up all by my little self.
|by Anonymous||reply 33||05/17/2013|
Kabul is lovely this time of year.
|by Anonymous||reply 34||05/17/2013|
Clearly the OP only posted this to show off how much he's already traveled, and how well off he is with regard to where he might travel in the future. I therefore suggest you take your self-absorbed asshole self to somewhere that might give you a little perspective, OP: the slums of Mumbai, for example.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||05/17/2013|
So, OP, where are you going.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||05/19/2013|
Vieques! I managed to find a room at my favorite guesthouse.
Yes, I've been before. But that makes it so much easier for a short vacation, more enjoying and less figuring things out.
Thank you for your suggestions. They'll be a big help next time.

Provincetown. Everything's open for the season, but you won't find the crush (and high prices) of midsummer. They have a "last minute" availability link on a couple of the town websites.
(Are you East Coast based?)
