Someone gave me a package of raw, frozen artichoke hearts imported from Italy

Any suggestions on how to prepare them?

Do they bake well with salt and pepper and olive oil and caramelize?

Do you marinate them in some way?

I've used frozen artichokes that were basically already cooked, like Bird's Eye, by adding them to pasta dishes and such but I've never even see frozen raw ones before, imported or not.

defrost, blot heavily with paper towel. Add to mixture of butter, olive oil and fresh garlic and lemon in a sautee pan. Add bread crumbs at the end and place under broiler for a minute.....delish!

Thanks R2. That sounds good but I don't have a grill/grill pan, indoor or out. I've had grilled artichokes in a restaurant and they are DELICIOUS!
