Can you access the New York Times website?

I can't.

by Anonymousreply 1205/16/2013

No, can't acces it either

by Anonymousreply 105/16/2013

No problem accessing nytimes.com @ 1:04 eastern.

by Anonymousreply 205/16/2013

I had no problem. But there is a note on the online edition saying they are experiencing problems with their system.

by Anonymousreply 305/16/2013

Bet it was a cyberattack.

by Anonymousreply 405/16/2013

How do I access stories more than 10 times a month without being charged?

by Anonymousreply 505/16/2013

Do you have a friend who has a print subscription? They can share free web access with one other "family member" at a different address.

OF course you could pay and support their journalism.

by Anonymousreply 605/16/2013

R6, we are paying enough for the War in Iraq that the NY Times helped the Neo-cons sell us with a pack of lies about WMDs.

The NY Times should be paying the US taxpayers for the damage their reports based on "faulty intelligence" (wink, wink) caused.

Self-serving crap, R7. If you're so disgusted with the Times, boycott them. If you still want to read their work, pay for it.

by Anonymousreply 905/16/2013

Amen, R7.

They are bootlicking government shills, and I can't wait for the day (coming soon!) that they file bankruptcy and disappear.

by Anonymousreply 1005/16/2013

I don't want to read their work, R9.

I want them to be held accountable for being lying propagandists and I want the American public to stop looking at them as a trustworthy source of news.

I hope they go as financially bankrupt to match their moral bankruptcy.

Why bother?
