Crazy Amy's Baking Company on KITCHEN NIGHTMARES

It was the season finale, and what a car wreck they were!

Amy's Baking Company Bakery Boutique & Bistro, in Scottsdale, Arizona, featured two owners who were so frustratingly outrageous that Gordon Ramsey left them in the lurch. They refused to acknowledge that anything was ever their fault.

Though that's nothing compared to what has been going on since then.

BuzzFeed: [bold]This Is The Most Epic Brand Meltdown On Facebook Ever[/bold]

The two owners of Amy’s Baking Company Bakery Boutique & Bistro took over the restaurant’s Facebook page last night to fight unruly commenters, and man, was it embarrassing.

by Anonymousreply 105/14/2013

And their Facebook page, where you can watch the meltdown continue, live.

by Anonymousreply 205/14/2013

A bit of video from Eater: [bold]Watch Gordon Ramsay Give Up on Delusional Restaurant Owners in Kitchen Nightmares[/bold]

by Anonymousreply 305/14/2013

If you have "a participating TV provider account," you can watch the full episode now at Fox.com. Otherwise, you'll have to wait a few more days to view it.

by Anonymousreply 405/14/2013

The Buzzfeed article has a good long clip.

That woman is nuts. I feel so bad for her employees. And is it even legal for the owner to take tips left for servers?

by Anonymousreply 505/14/2013

Ooh, I found the full ep on YouTube. Here's Part 1.

by Anonymousreply 605/14/2013

Denise Eaker Hoover vs. Samy and Amy. Who would win?

by Anonymousreply 705/14/2013

It's a toss up as to which of the two owners is the craziest. At first I thought it would be Samy, but he just seems to be facilitating the meg-nutso that is Amy.

by Anonymousreply 805/14/2013

Best meltdown ever.

by Anonymousreply 905/14/2013

This has got to be a performance. Firing the waitress because she asked Queen Amy, "Are you sure?" That's just off the charts. Can anyone really be that deranged?

by Anonymousreply 1005/14/2013

Amy's real name is Amanda Patricia Bossingham.

The court ordered her to pay $36,294.95 in restitution. Ms. Bossingham plead guilty to submitting an application for a line of credit with M & I Bank using the social security number of another person. The Bank approved the line of credit in the amount of $15,000.

On June 15, 2004, the Court sentenced her to fourteen months prison. (she appealed, but eventually lost, reported to prison in Oct, 7, 2008)

by Anonymousreply 1105/14/2013

wow! I am ready to make a road trip from Tucson just to experience the crazy. When you can see the whites all around someone's pupil there is something wrong with them.

she must give amazing blowjobs to get $1MM out of that old guy for that restaurant.

by Anonymousreply 1205/14/2013

The Yelp reviews are pretty funny.

by Anonymousreply 1305/14/2013

She's created a new Facebook page because the other one was so out of control.

But of course everyone found the new one very quickly, so a new meltdown is occurring there as well.

by Anonymousreply 1405/14/2013

I dvr'd the show and just watched it. Unreal.at first all the owner yelljng at customers to fuck off and never come back i wondered how much of that was for the camera. But after watching the entire episode i have no doubt the owners behaved like that all the time. And keeping the tips is vile.

by Anonymousreply 1505/14/2013

I loved that Amy called Yelpers "the cameltoe mafia.'

by Anonymousreply 1605/14/2013

Their menu looks pretty good. If I lived in the Phoenix area, I would definitely try them out.

by Anonymousreply 1705/14/2013

Allegedly, she was an escort.

Allegedly, he is in crime/a gangster and the resto is a money laundering thing.

I believe the escort/gangster thing but no money laundering operation would want this kind of attention, so I don't believe that.

One of the Bakery's recent FB updates:

Most of y ou are fat, disgusting losers. Probably not of the REDSHITTORS on this page even have a job, or make over 40k a year. Most of your icons show you to be fat, overweight losers with nothing itn your lives bust disgusting people.

My husband and I enjoy the finest chamagne and caviar whenever we so choose. We are beautiful people and we have parties with people you can't even lick thier boots. YOU ARE DISGUSTING PIG PEOPLE, MADE FROM THE SLIME OF YOUR OWN HATRED AT THE WORLD FOR MAKING Y OU DISGUSINT PEOPLE. STAY IN THE BASEMENT WHERE YOU BELONG, REDSHITTORS, YOU ARE LOSERS.

by Anonymousreply 1905/14/2013

You should, R17. They're wonderful people and serve a great lunch and dinner. And the pies are to die for.

Obviously someone has hacked all of their internet accounts and telephone, and are embarrassing them out of insane jealousy. It's a shame. But do order the turtle cheesecake! And tell Amy Big Theo says hi.

by Anonymousreply 2005/14/2013

Best episode EVER. These people are batshit crazy. Amy in particular is beyond words. I could watch this over and over. This just makes me laugh and smile, it's so craptastic.

by Anonymousreply 2105/14/2013

Oh, maybe that's a fake page.

by Anonymousreply 2205/14/2013

Well, if they are calling people "disgusting pig people," you'd think DL would love them!

by Anonymousreply 2305/14/2013

Hard to tell if it's a fake page or not, considering that Amy behaved exactly like that on her KN episode.

by Anonymousreply 2405/14/2013

What does the Datalounge Psychiatric Panel make of these whackjobs? Borderline Personality Disorder? Histrionic? Paranoid? Or just a gangster's way of doing business?

I have seen similar behavior before, in spoiled 11-year-olds facing unaccustomed criticism.

by Anonymousreply 2505/14/2013

She is going to get into [bold] BIG TROUBLE [/bold] now for stealing images.

She has stolen food and dessert photos from all over the web and claimed them as her own. She got away with it for a while, but now, because of all the hoopla, people have been checking the photos against Google Image. [bold]WHOOPS![/bold]

Several of the photographers and bakers have been notified and are PISSED. Many of them have even posted on her FB photo albums.

A funny quote: [italic]"THIS IS MY CAKE!!! I MADE THIS FOR MY FRIEND LEN FEDOROWICZ'S WIFE'S BABY SHOWER IN MERRITT ISLAND FLORIDA SEVERAL YEARS AGO! YOU ARE A THIEF AND IF YOU DO NOT TAKE THIS PICTURE DOWN OR GIVE Heavenly Confections CREDIT I WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE!"[/italic]

People are PISSED!! Get her!

by Anonymousreply 2605/14/2013

[italic]"Received from Shermay's Cooking School this morning: Thank you for notifying us. These are definitely the images of chef Joycelyn Shu, which were specifically developed for classes she taught here. Their use of her photos constitutes a copyright infringement. We have notified Joycelyn to take the necessary action. Regards, Dawn Manager" [/italic]

She stole SEVERAL from the above people -

by Anonymousreply 2705/14/2013

Oh she lifted pics from martha stewart. Girl you in trouble now...

by Anonymousreply 2805/14/2013

So I assume all of the desserts in the dessert case in the restaurant were all frozen or brought in from other bakeries? I wish Gordon would have called her out on that shit.

by Anonymousreply 2905/14/2013

OMG, I am now scrolling through all of her photos on Facebook and laughing my ass off at the comments! WOW!

by Anonymousreply 3005/14/2013

OMG, they deleted EVERYTHING.
"Obviously our Facebook, YELP, Twitter and Website have been hacked. We are working with the local authorities as well as the FBI computer crimes unit to ensure this does not happen again. We did not post those horrible things. Thank You Amy & Samy"
REALLY?! How can she deny that they made all those posts, but admit that she made the response to the bad yelp review that she blames for all of this? The posts and responses on here sounded exactly like her yelp comment, and exactly like how they talked to everyone on the show. Fucking idiots. Wow.

by Anonymousreply 3105/14/2013

Isn't it illegal for an owner/management to take from the tip pool in most states?

by Anonymousreply 3205/14/2013

The funniest part is that all the actual owners of her pictures are coming back to tell her to take them off, and in the process they are getting serious advertising exposure.

by Anonymousreply 3305/14/2013

OMG people are actually tagging the photos now. One hello kitty is tagged with HELP ME LOL

by Anonymousreply 3405/14/2013

Silly thing like laws mean nothing to this nut case.

by Anonymousreply 3505/14/2013

OK this stupid chic even stole one from one of bakers of Ace of Cakes???

by Anonymousreply 3605/14/2013

I wonder what church they go to.

by Anonymousreply 3705/14/2013

Have they gone out of business and lost everything yet?

by Anonymousreply 3805/15/2013

Gordon Ramsay is the Grim Reaper of restaurants. If he shows up in your restaurant it is only a matter of time before it closes.

by Anonymousreply 3905/15/2013

Watch the episode. Talk about a trainwreck and Amy is just plain nuts and her husband is afraid of her. He should be. Ramsey just walked away since it is pretty obvious they were not going to take his advice.

by Anonymousreply 4005/15/2013

I am ashamed of myself, I loved it.

by Anonymousreply 4105/15/2013
The funniest part is that all the actual owners of her pictures are coming back to tell her to take them off, and in the process they are getting serious advertising exposure.

I agree!

by Anonymousreply 4205/15/2013
Gordon Ramsay is the Grim Reaper of restaurants. If he shows up in your restaurant it is only a matter of time before it closes.

Those restaurants appear on his show because they're already in trouble and about to close. It's a last ditch attempt to save themselves. They hope that he'll be able to save them but it takes more than a makeover to salvage a bad business.

by Anonymousreply 4305/15/2013

I can't understand why Ramsay was called in in the first place. They don't think anything is wrong with their restaurant, they just thought Yelp and Reddit posters were out to get them. They needed the geek squad not a chef. That said, they apparently have no idea how to run a business or cook for people.

by Anonymousreply 4405/15/2013
I can't understand why Ramsay was called in in the first place. They don't think anything is wrong with their restaurant, they just thought Yelp and Reddit posters were out to get them.

Crazy Amy states at the beginning of the episode that if the great Chef Ramsay declared her food good, it would silence all those Yelp haters and blah blah blah something about God and how God wants food prepared.

That plan backfired deliciously.

by Anonymousreply 4505/15/2013

Amy stopped by Yelp!

5/14/2013 This is Amy here!

Just stopping by from my feeding my cats their daily food from my vagina to type a little something on here.

Who do you guys think you are???

I have read all these disgusting comments on here!

People saying that we served them pubes in their food!

"Story T." saying how he came in and he paid with "sex".

"Dicky Y" saying that he can't understand how my husband Sammy could do better than me with the millions of dollars he has, how I do ass to mouth and it tastes better than my food.

"Failed Troll" saying that my husband is old enought to be my father!

I mean, come ON people!

Of COURSE, all these stories are true!

And for a limited time, if you hurry into my restaurant I will personally GUARANTEE that I will shit and my husband Sammy will JIZZ all over your food for a LIMITED TIME ONLY!

This is a first come, first serve basis ONLY!

So hurry up and call us today!

Make reservations!

Our number is here on this page!

Ouch! One of my cats just got lost in my vagina again.

Hate it when that happens!

Ok, guys!

Good luck!

by Anonymousreply 4605/15/2013

She's a sociopath, right?

by Anonymousreply 4705/15/2013

What nationality is Samy? He looks Indian but sounds like a Greek or Italian.

by Anonymousreply 4805/15/2013

In the link at R11, there are motions filed for Amy to travel to Colorado for court appearances.

Did she have criminal proceedings against her in Colorado as well as in AZ?

by Anonymousreply 4905/15/2013

The Yelp page has been hacked, and someone posing as Samy (but totally missing his ethnicity) wrote this:

Hey, you men?

What's a matter-a with you's people?

Can't you a tell-a that my wife is upset-a for your comments?

She no longer wants to sucky sucky my pee pee!

Or take wax and burn my balls sack! She say, "No more Sammy! I can't dominate you tonight, not with all these negative comments. Put the whip and leather suits back in the closet."

Don't you know I am a certified gangsta?

If I want, I could buy you and your whole family!

Just like-a I did-a with my wife's nose. Cost me $10,000 to make a her look like a Michael Jackson.

Sometimes we pretend while we are having sexy time that I am a child at Never Land Ranch and she is Michael.

But no more!

Because of you and your comments!

If you think you are a big tough shit, come into my restaurant WHEN EVER, WHERE EVER you want!

Trust me, I will break-a you jaw!

Ok???

Bye bye for now!

Like we say in Italia, "Ho un pene piccolo, e mi piace ragazzini buchi bottino!"

Use Google Translate if you don't-a speaka the Italian!

Chiao!

by Anonymousreply 5105/15/2013
What does the Datalounge Psychiatric Panel make of these whackjobs? Borderline Personality Disorder? Histrionic? Paranoid?

How is it you are unable to name off all those DSM classifications but are unable to diagnose Antisocial Personality Disorder when it's staring at you in the face?

by Anonymousreply 5205/15/2013

Because she likely exhibits behavior that fits into the other diagnostic categories. I'm sure she has more than one Axis II diagnosis.

by Anonymousreply 5305/15/2013

She's still at it today, posting a couple more times on her facebook page.

by Anonymousreply 5405/15/2013

You know, I don't really care for Gordon Ramsay, but I was compelled to watch this. I am always a little skeptical of how real these kinds of shows are, but I can't imagine any producer could come up with a pair that insane and dysfunctional.

Someone on the Kitchen Nightmares Hulu page was saying that he'd developed an urge to drive to Scottsdale and break every window in that place.

by Anonymousreply 5505/15/2013

I didn't think anyone could be more obnoxious and nauseating than Ramsay but these two are giving him a run for his money.

by Anonymousreply 5605/15/2013

I didn't enjoy it because it was too over-the-top.

by Anonymousreply 5705/15/2013

Severe untreated mental illness or just a vicious mean bitch -- probably some of both.

by Anonymousreply 5805/15/2013

OK, either Crazy Amy or Facebook took down their second Facebook page. Now we're just left with the first one. And they deleted all posts made since Friday, though the left some of the juiciest ones intact.

by Anonymousreply 5905/15/2013

oh wow. but luckily a lot of people captured screen shots of Amy's swearing all-caps posts, so she can't just pretend it never happened...

by Anonymousreply 6005/15/2013

Is it common for people in AZ to go to a bakery/patisserie/boulangerie and order pizza and hamburgers? I've never been in something that calls itself a bake shop (patisserie, boulangerie) that sells such things. is it a southwestern thing?

When I go to a bake shop, there are cakes, rolls, breads, cookies, cupcakes, breadsticks.... but not pizza or burgers.

by Anonymousreply 6105/15/2013

Wow, I wonder if Samy is related to a former landlord of mine about 25 years ago. He was an Israeli guy named Yakov who supposedly owned a "high end shoe store," but was rolling in money. His brother bought a piece of reserve land, built the first McMediterraneanMansion in the area and had a Rolls Royce. We asked what the brother did for a living and the landlord said, "Ehhhh... Sales. He's in sales." (Yeah. Maybe the sale of armaments). We were spooked by the whole family and moved out as soon as we could. We were convinced they were Mossad. My friend, who is Jewish and rolls his eyes at people claiming that "So-and-so is Mossad" was absolutely positive they were Mossad.

by Anonymousreply 6205/15/2013

R61, I lived in Scottsdale for years, and have never seen this sort of establishment. Usually places like this have crappy food. I can remember a bakery in Portland called Roses that had a full menu, back in the day. Delicious pastries , but bad food.

by Anonymousreply 6305/15/2013

Why would any of the waitstaff accept a job there? That one girl had experience, I just can't figure out why anyone would take a job with no tips.

I wish Ramsay would have called them out on the desserts. No way is that bitch going to be able to bake the entire display case and be the full time chef in the restaurant. She was obviously lying.

Amy is clearly bat shit crazy and only married Samy for his money. She must have a narcissistic personality because anyone who watches KN even once knows Ramsey isn't coming in to show Internet bullies they were wrong. Amy actually reminds me of Farrah from Teen Mom whose been all over the place lately. Both pathetic losers.

by Anonymousreply 6405/15/2013

that was 40 minutes of reality tv pure cray-cray pleasure!!

by Anonymousreply 6505/15/2013

The sad part is, I have worked for people just like that. I was taken aback when I heard her say the same thing "we just cant find qualified people"

Really? In a big city? You cant find anyone who can do the job for longer then a couple of weeks? Everyone is a flake but you dont have a problem?

Note to self: During next interview, when asking what happened to the last person in the job, if they tell you they were not qualified, run dont walk out the door.

by Anonymousreply 6605/15/2013
No way is that bitch going to be able to bake the entire display case and be the full time chef in the restaurant.

That all looked straight out of Costco. Unless it was supplied by a local baker (and I doubt anyone would agree to deal with that loony), it makes me question Ramsay's palate. I'd still let him piss up my greedy hole.

by Anonymousreply 6705/15/2013
I'd still let him piss up my greedy hole.

Get in line, bitch!

by Anonymousreply 6805/15/2013

There are people attracted to Gordon Ramsay?

by Anonymousreply 6905/15/2013

This is just getting wackier and wackier. Yes he should have called her out on the desserts but maybe that was too easy..

by Anonymousreply 7005/15/2013

The waitresses and sous chef are children.

by Anonymousreply 7105/15/2013

I think they left the door open for a sequel/ and that gordon WILL discover she was lying about baking the desserts from scratch.

by Anonymousreply 7205/15/2013

She probably gets her food from Sysco Services. They supply everything from ballpark food to desserts in haute restaurants.

by Anonymousreply 7305/15/2013

A petition to the US Department of Labor and the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) to Investigate Amy's Baking Company Bakery Boutique & Bistro for stealing tips from their staff...

Tipped employees are a valuable, intrinsic part of the Hospitality Industry. They are hardworking men and women who have fought long and nobly to be afforded fair, legal wages and tip income in exchange for service on a daily basis. Amy's Baking Company (ABC) in Scottsdale, AZ, has come out publicly that their policy is to confiscate every single penny earned through tipping patrons, without informing customers, and instead, only pay their servers an hourly wage. This policy is 100% in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, and given their extraordinary turn-over rate of employees, it is reasonable to assume 100 - 200+ individuals have been negatively affected by this illegal policy. In the interests of so many hardworking Americans, this company needs to be investigated immediately, and their unsavoury actions need to be halted at once.

by Anonymousreply 7405/15/2013

The thing is, all these shows are fake. How did Ramsey just happen to have the time to track down former waitstaff and question them on camera while waiting for the shop to open. That takes a little too much detective work for someone who's only there for a brief time.

There was a restaurant near me that went on one of these shows and the "customers" were friends of the owner and actors. They were told what to say. One woman was told to complain about the pasta because pasta is an easy dish to make on a quickie tv shoot. The owner had a decent business and did it for publicity, not because his restaurant was in trouble.

And remember Breaking Amish? Nothing about that show was real. The show with Bo Dietl is almost completely staffed with actors as waitstaff. So I kind of wonder about this. These shows love drama.

by Anonymousreply 7505/15/2013

My mother was a waitress and she did not get minimum wage. The law allowed this if the restaurant gave the waitstaff a meal and allowed them to get tips. Tips were supposed to be declared as income on the waitstaff's personal income tax form.

A lot of restaurant owners were cheap bastards who gave the waitstaff a hot dog and beans. But the waitstaff at the place where my mother worked had a choice of two meals that were regular menu items and could have consommé, tea, coffee and dessert. The meals came with potatoes and vegetables. It was a German restaurant that opened to the public at 6 pm for dinner, so everyone got there at 5 pm and sat down for dinner together, the owners along with the staff. They'd have a choice of say, Huntsman's Platter or weinerschnitzel. . We also could have baked clams or chopped liver pate before the main meal. I worked there for a while and damn I miss that food

by Anonymousreply 7605/15/2013

"The thing is, all these shows are fake. How did Ramsey just happen to have the time to track down former waitstaff and question them on camera while waiting for the shop to open. That takes a little too much detective work for someone who's only there for a brief time."

The locales for these shows are chosen weeks or months in advance, which makes it perfectly possible for production minions to research the restaurant in question, interview former employees, and make appointments for them to appear on camera.

So I'm not saying it's all real, but I do think the form and degree of fakery varies from episode to episode, and I wonder why anyone would pretend to be this crazy. Being a national laughingstock can't be good for business, nor are calls for investigation of criminal business practices.

by Anonymousreply 7705/15/2013

Your mom sounds fat R76.

by Anonymousreply 7805/15/2013

r61, Gordon probably would've addressed this and made it part of the makeover had he not thrown in the towel.

by Anonymousreply 7905/15/2013

It's my understanding that waitstaff are exempt from minimum wage laws because of tips.

I.e., restaurant owners can pay waitstaff less than minimum wage because of tipping. So if the waitstaff is making an hourly wage above the minimum wage, it may not be illegal to take their tips. It's not ethical by any means, by it may not be a criminal practice. Samy looks like the type who knows the law down to the letter so he can extract as much profit as possible. There's a reason why his staff is salaried and it's probably because he can legally take their tips.

by Anonymousreply 8005/15/2013

If you order a fig and pineapple pizza you're asking for crap. You shouldn't complain when you get served crap.

by Anonymousreply 8105/15/2013

I DVR'd this show, it was hilarious.

Having read this thread, I am now trying to imagine Amy/Amanda in prison for three years on those fraud charges.

Somehow I doubt that she was the mouthy, crude, arrogant, nasty bitch she was in that restaurant. Those girls would have given her an attitude adjustment right quick.

by Anonymousreply 8205/15/2013

R75 all it would take is a craigslist ad. Especially if there are HUNDREDS of ex staff in the Scottsdale area.

by Anonymousreply 8305/15/2013

I wonder if the show scours Yelp for low-rated restaurants to approach.

Also, I derped on the internet for this whole thing today. It seems that a blogger wrote about them a few years ago after getting a rude response from Sami after he left a 1 star review on Yelp. Maybe that's how the show heard about them.

The producers must have been licking their chops when this couple brought all the drama.

by Anonymousreply 8405/15/2013

The waitress who got fired/quit--Katy--just did an "Ask Me Anything" on Reddit. She only recently turned 18, stated that nothing on the show was faked, that Amy and Samy are as batshit insane in real life, and that she had no idea that employers withholding tips is illegal and she is going to look into that to see if she can get her tips.

by Anonymousreply 8505/15/2013

Katy the waitress also said that during her 3-1/2 weeks there, the restaurant was never full and that during downtime, she and the other waitress had to clean all the time and that is why the place was so noticeably clean.

by Anonymousreply 8605/15/2013
The thing is, all these shows are fake. How did Ramsey just happen to have the time to track down former waitstaff and question them on camera while waiting for the shop to open. That takes a little too much detective work for someone who's only there for a brief time.

That's what production staff does prior to filming.

by Anonymousreply 8705/15/2013

There's fake and there's fake r75 They did a restaurant in my area too and as far as I know everything you said is true.

However, the place in my area used to be one of the better local places and a regular "go to" destination for my partner and me. I can tell you from personal experience that every problem Ramsey identified was true from my experience and exactly the reasons we stopped going there.

Sure, the show is edited for drama and staged to a degree, much of which makes sense in the context of a 40 minute show. There are also stories left untold or not fully told like in the case of the place in my area.

The thing Ramsey and didn't and can't directly point out for obvious reasons is that the biggest problem with all these places is lazy ass new or hide-bound old owners who think they have a gold mine and can't accept newer places running circles around them. These people will never change and will never accept a new business plan.

Even the cheesiest reality show could invent a whack job like Amy in their wild dreams. though.

by Anonymousreply 8805/15/2013

She's a republican. Was appointed to the Republican Presidential Task Force in Arizona.

Anyone surprised?

by Anonymousreply 8905/16/2013

I like the cut of her jib!

by Anonymousreply 9005/16/2013

Not surprising, r89.

This woman has at least one personality disorder. I vote borderline with narcissitic personality disorder.

by Anonymousreply 9105/16/2013

Also, Amy was in prison on identity fraud charges:

by Anonymousreply 9205/16/2013

she is vile.

by Anonymousreply 9305/16/2013

I'm sure someone else will know more about this than I do, but I was told by a friend who has a job where he makes good money in tips most nights, he said that even if you don't make a penny in tips the IRS is still taxing you as if you had made 20% .And it's impossible to prove that you didn't make the money they are taxing especialy when you work in a job where you're getting tipped in cash.

by Anonymousreply 9405/16/2013

OMG! the crazy continues:

SCOTTSDALE, AZ. MAY 15, 2013 -- Amy’s Baking Company will host a Grand Re-Opening on Tuesday night, May 21, following unflattering portrayals on national television.

Customers will be able to decide who is correct: a famous celebrity chef or the marketplace that has supported the small, locally-owned business for six years.

When re-opened, a portion of proceeds will benefit a charity organized to bring awareness to cyber bullying.

Seating is limited. Reservations may be made by emailing sjones@rosemoserallynpr.com.

Diners will also have the opportunity to meet, and judge for themselves the character of owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, who have devoted their lives to and earn their living from their small restaurant. The Bouzaglos have been married for 10 years, after Sammy emigrated from Israel.

The owners will likely be holding a press conference before the Grand Re-Opening and answer falsehoods depicted on a reality television show, including assertions that the restaurant confiscates tips from servers.

In fact, wait staff is paid $8-$14 per hour, two and half to nearly five times the standard hourly wage for servers.

Questions will also be answered about what happened to their Facebook page.

Amy’s Baking Company was recently featured on the hit PBS show “Check Please” and has received A+ reports from CBS 5 for kitchen preparedness.

“We are very upset by what has taken place, apologize about the acrimony that has ensued but now must fight back to save our business. We hope and believe much good can result from what has transpired. We ask the public to keep an open mind as we begin to tell our side of the story,” Samy Bouzaglo said.

For more details, please contact Michael Saucier.

by Anonymousreply 9705/16/2013

I would SO like to go to this "grand reopening" just to witness the insanity!

by Anonymousreply 9805/16/2013

One of the things that really bothered me was Amy saying she had such a hard time finding employees that weren't "lazy" and "dirty." I think we all know what she was really saying.

by Anonymousreply 9905/16/2013

You have to watch the episode.

by Anonymousreply 10005/16/2013

It's obvious that they're trying to get their own reality show.

by Anonymousreply 10105/16/2013

That's an awfully roundabout way to do it, R101.

by Anonymousreply 10205/16/2013

Why does the staff stay?

Is the economy that bad in Arizona?

by Anonymousreply 10405/16/2013

R102 they just seem to be attention whores looking for publicity. They won't have a successful restaurant because of their food but they may if it is a part of a reality series. Why else would they get Gordon Ramsey to come to their restaurant and not take his advice and then create further publicity with facebook comments and a grand re-opening? It seems as though they are trying to prolong their five minutes of fame (which I realize has just started).

by Anonymousreply 10505/16/2013

R105 they said they sought Ramsey because they thought he would refute their many critics. They're both quite delusional enough to do this.

Anyway, after reading further they both have semi-criminal backgrounds so I doubt a reality show was part of their motivation.

by Anonymousreply 10605/16/2013
Anyway, after reading further they both have semi-criminal backgrounds so I doubt a reality show was part of their motivation.

It worked for Big Ange.

by Anonymousreply 10705/16/2013

Gordon looks like a Sharpei with a Chuckie wig.

by Anonymousreply 10805/16/2013

He seems to have a nice body though.

Part of my wondered if they'd also submitted themselves for Restaurant Impossible and also got turned down.

Other Side of Amy’s Baking Company Controversy in Scottsdale To Soon Be Told

(SCOTTSDALE, AZ.)Amy’s Baking Company will host a Grand Re-Opening on Tuesday night, May 21, following unflattering portrayals on national television.

Diners will also have the opportunity to meet and judge for themselves the character of owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, who have devoted their lives to and earn their living from their small restaurant. The Bouzaglos have been married for 10 years, after Samy emigrated from Israel.

The owners will likely be holding a press conference before the Grand Re-Opening to answer falsehoods about their business depicted on a reality television show, including assertions that the restaurant confiscates tips from servers.

We ask the public to keep an open mind as we begin to tell our side of the story,” Samy Bouzaglo said.

by Anonymousreply 11005/16/2013

I don't know how they can argue when their behavior is right there on tape.

Add to this the social network freakouts.....

What are they arguing?

by Anonymousreply 11105/16/2013

What's Samy's criminal background? I can't find it online.

by Anonymousreply 11205/16/2013

There is talk about money laundering and he called himself a gangster.

by Anonymousreply 11305/16/2013
The owners will likely be holding a press conference before the Grand Re-Opening to answer falsehoods about their business depicted on a reality television show, including assertions that the restaurant confiscates tips from servers.

Didn't this information come from the owner himself? I watched the episode and he flat out said they don't get their tips, that they do.

by Anonymousreply 11405/16/2013

I would really like to see the standard contract for the show.

by Anonymousreply 11505/16/2013

I agree r103. Before I saw the show I couldn't believe anyone thought he was sexy. Then I started watching the show and I want him to fuck me hard. The face is a little fug, but there is something about him. Maybe it's his passion for cooking and the restaurant business that I get the feeling might transfer to sex. I was totally prepared to hate him and be grossed out by him when I first started watching this year.

by Anonymousreply 11605/16/2013
In fact, wait staff is paid $8-$14 per hour, two and half to nearly five times the standard hourly wage for servers.

But those other places let their staff KEEP their tips which is why they pay less.

What a maroon.

by Anonymousreply 11705/16/2013

Surely there's a Datalounger or two who lives near enough Scottsdale that they can go to this thing on Tuesday night?!

by Anonymousreply 11805/16/2013
It seems as though they are trying to prolong their five minutes of fame (which I realize has just started).

And it will be over faster than you can say "Honey Boo Boo" r105

It's the train wreck syndrome. People may not be able to resist a peek but lose interest very quickly.

by Anonymousreply 11905/16/2013

Laugh all you want--they have God on their side!

by Anonymousreply 12005/16/2013

This story is the gift that literally keeps on giving. The fine felons at Amy's have hired an ambulance chaser of a PR person. This douche was fired by the Special Olympics of Arizona because he made a special joke on Twitter WHILE representing the Special Olympics.

Tee hee!

by Anonymousreply 12105/16/2013

If you have watched this show before you know that Ramsey is behaving very differently from his usual demeanor right from the start. He knew in advance this was going to blow up and get a lot of attention, so he's unusually polite and quiet with them.

by Anonymousreply 12205/16/2013

omg patches the cat! GREAT find!

thank you.

by Anonymousreply 12305/16/2013

R122, he's always nice upfront.

by Anonymousreply 12405/16/2013

R116, you've given this some deep thoughts haven't you?

[bold]Fired Amy's Baking Company Waitress Shares Story on Reddit[/bold]

Days after the worst Kitchen Nightmares on Gordan Ramsay's show had a series of public meltdowns, one of their victims is having her moment in the spotlight—on Reddit, one of the places currently on the "most loathed" list for Amy's Baking Company.

Katy Cipriano (a self-declared alias) was a waitress whose mistreatment at the hands of her employer, Amy Bouzaglo, was shown on this week's episode of Kitchen Nightmares. The show ended with Ramsay throwing up his hands and walking away from the whole project before he even started. The episode showed Cipriano walking away, too — quitting after Bouzaglo tells her she has an attitude problem for double-checking an order.

(lots more fun at the link)

by Anonymousreply 12605/16/2013

It does seem like they're shooting for thier own reality show with this..it's too crazy. And this...

Amanda Patricia Bossingham.

(she appealed, but eventually lost, reported to prison in Oct, 7, 2008)

by Anonymousreply 12705/16/2013
If you have watched this show before you know that Ramsey is behaving very differently from his usual demeanor right from the start.

I've only watched a couple other episodes but now that you point it out... yeah, he seemed unusually sedate & reserved with them. I figured it was because he knew they were insane after Amy started blathering about internet bullies and "talking cat", but maybe he knew from the start that it was a lost cause.

by Anonymousreply 12805/16/2013

"Opening to answer falsehoods about their business depicted on a reality television show, including assertions that the restaurant confiscates tips from servers.

In fact, wait staff is paid $8-$14 per hour, two and half to nearly five times the standard hourly wage for servers."

Who thinks that's the right answer? Nobody.

As R117 said, they still keep the tips.

I had a boss who used to do that, then he died.

by Anonymousreply 12905/16/2013

r95 That "grand re-opening" will be totally bogus; only (former escort)Amy and ("connected")Sami's rich, republican "friends" will be able to get a reservation.

by Anonymousreply 13005/16/2013

Maybe they're looking for a reality show, maybe they're planning to sue Ramsey for making them look bad.

by Anonymousreply 13105/16/2013

r122, I also believe Gordon was cleverly setting her up to be sued; he carefully questioned Amy re. her pastries. He got her to claim on tape that she did not buy them from an outside bakery, and that they were totally her own creations. Seeing as all her website photos of her supposed creations were swiped from other pastry chefs, I bet those claims will bite her in the ass.

by Anonymousreply 13205/16/2013

The former waitstaff need to look at their paycheck stubs and see if the IRS and the state were taxing presumed tips. I don't know what the govt assumes percentage of the sale total the waitstaff is getting in tips. It's not 15%, but maybe 10% or 12%. It might be the case that they are being taxed for tips they never received.

by Anonymousreply 13305/16/2013

This is for you, r116:

by Anonymousreply 13405/16/2013

Sign The Petiition

Have Amy Bouzaglo Committed. The owner of the Amy Baking Company in Scottsdale, AZ is obviously crazy. I think she should have a psychological evaluation and kept from interacting with the public.

by Anonymousreply 13505/16/2013
Maybe they're looking for a reality show, maybe they're planning to sue Ramsey for making them look bad.

But he didn't. He actually said very little. Mostly he asked questions and let them hang themselves with their claims that the bakery goods were made by crazy Amy and their admission that they steal the servers' tips.

by Anonymousreply 13605/16/2013

Ramsey didn't have to bring the crazy because the owners were triple extra.

by Anonymousreply 13705/16/2013

I just finished watching the episode. Wow. How is it that people like this find each other?

Funny Washington Post blogger's take on it.

by Anonymousreply 13805/16/2013

So how would money laundering work in an operation like this?

by Anonymousreply 13905/16/2013

Customers who were there during the filming have done interviews in local media. Katy the fired waitress has done a local interview and a Reddit Q&A.

The behavior and backstory of the owners during the show was entirely consistent with their behavior and backstory in local media in 2010.

There is no evidence the episode was fake.

The $8/hr wage they paid (not $14) does not exempt them from tip law in Arizona.

by Anonymousreply 14005/16/2013

I've never watched Ramsay before... watched the video of this episode.. anyone notice the bulge on Gordon as he got up from the table?

by Anonymousreply 14105/16/2013

I decided to break down and watch it.

When you type "Amy" into YouTube, it's the first thing that comes up.

I'll see if I can make it through the whole thing.

by Anonymousreply 14205/16/2013

Watching now. In the first five minutes crazy Amy attacks one of our own and calls him a pansy.

by Anonymousreply 14305/16/2013
I've never watched Ramsay before... watched the video of this episode.. anyone notice the bulge on Gordon as he got up from the table?

Now THAT's the DL I know and love!

They opened the restaurant in 2006, right? Who cooked while she was away?

by Anonymousreply 14505/17/2013

Scottsdale is the Jersey Shore of Arizona, the worst kind of people inhabit that he'll on earth town.

by Anonymousreply 14605/17/2013

Why have we stopped talking about this gem? The least you bitches could do is continue the convo about Gordon's bulge!

Wrong. Phoenix is the armpit of AZ.

American Horror Story 4: Amy's Banking Company.

by Anonymousreply 14905/17/2013

If Fox doesn't immediately give them their own spin-off series, they deserve to sink to the bottom of the ratings.

by Anonymousreply 15005/17/2013

Bread and circuses

And plastic surgery

by Anonymousreply 15105/17/2013

Amy: The Lord has shown me how to make a delicious meat pie that will send all you evil bloggers straight to hell!

Samy: Has anybody seen our son, Mr. Fluffy? He's gone missing.

Amy: Meat pie! Meat pie! AHAHAHAAH Meat Pie!

by Anonymousreply 15205/17/2013

I do wonder why Gordon didn't call them out for straight out lying about baking those desserts. I don't think there was even an (non-pizza) oven in the kitchen.

by Anonymousreply 15305/17/2013

I didn't catch where they admitted they buy and resell desserts. I just caught the part where Amy says she baked them herself at the beginning.

by Anonymousreply 15405/17/2013

Why even do that much? I mean, clearly given what had happened the night before, the producers know they were walking into a nest of crazy that didn't need much prompting.

I'm kind of surprised he only gave the waitress $20. Frankly, if I was in his position and able to afford more, I'd have given her at least $50.

by Anonymousreply 15505/17/2013
I didn't catch where they admitted they buy and resell desserts. I just caught the part where Amy says she baked them herself at the beginning.

They didn't admit it in the episode, but on their website, the pictures of their baked goods are swiped from other sources, and in one of her Facebook tantrums, Amy admitted to "repackaging" the desserts.

by Anonymousreply 15605/17/2013

Channel 4 have been asses and blocked all the youtube versions of this in the UK, but I downloaded it and no reality tv episode has been so worthy of a download.

I have to wonder how bad her old nose was to have got that done before a chin implant.

by Anonymousreply 15705/17/2013

R156

Because, according to her, America is a nation of Reselling and if you don't like it, fuck off!!!

by Anonymousreply 15805/17/2013

Something that disturbed me that no one has mentioned yet is Amy overloading a returned pizza with hot pepper when someone sent it back saying it wasn't spicy enough. She admitted it on camera and said "I hope it hurts them." That's scary. She deliberately wants to harm her patrons. It's a good thing Samy doesn't give her much feedback from customers or she'd probably be depositing bodily fluids on food.

by Anonymousreply 15905/17/2013

I'd have to vote borderline over sociopath for Amy.

by Anonymousreply 16005/17/2013

I think they're tremendous.

by Anonymousreply 16305/17/2013
I'd have to vote borderline over sociopath for Amy.

Borderline? Are YOU crazy?

by Anonymousreply 16405/17/2013

I live in Scottsdale, and these two mooks could be the poster freaks for this town. It's not the Jersey shore of Arizona-Scottsdale is the second leg on the holy douchebag pilgrimage that fuck ups make on the way to the other holy city of douches, Las Vegas.

The two here? They represent the finest that Scottsdale has to offer.

by Anonymousreply 16505/17/2013

Why am I so intriged by these nut jobs?

by Anonymousreply 16605/17/2013

So the cops did actually show up.

by Anonymousreply 16705/17/2013

Miranda has a FB fan page.

by Anonymousreply 16805/17/2013

The fall out from this is rather funny. Miranda was fired by Samy about a week after taping because she'd kept a $5 tip. When she returned to pick up her paycheck, Amy refused to give it to her and called the police on her. Miranda went to wait for the police outside and when they came, Amy accused her of harassment. For all her trouble, she only got $300 for four 12 hour shifts. What cunts.

Miranda now works at Cracker Barrel.

According to one of the comments, a protest of the grand re-opening is being planned. Samy's Republican friends might have to walk a gauntlet to reach the restaurant.

by Anonymousreply 16905/17/2013

What's interesting about their "re-opening" is that they've obviously gone and found a new supplier for the food, this way, everyone will rave about it and say all the past reviews were wrong. I wonder what company they've gone with.

by Anonymousreply 17005/17/2013

On of the locals needs to stake out the restaurant and see who does their deliveries.

by Anonymousreply 17105/17/2013

Can someone just bring me some water!!!

by Anonymousreply 17205/17/2013

I would suck Gordon's cock so hard his skull would cave in. Fucker is HOT!

by Anonymousreply 17305/17/2013
I would suck Gordon's cock so hard his skull would cave in. Fucker is HOT!

The only blow job Gordon's allowed to have is if it actually involves blowing air into his penis in hopes that itll inflate those shar pei wrinkles out of his face.

by Anonymousreply 17405/17/2013

Amazing.

by Anonymousreply 17505/17/2013

Is Miranda the one who Ramsey gave a tip to, by hand, as he was leaving?

by Anonymousreply 17605/17/2013

R176

Yes.

by Anonymousreply 17705/17/2013

Vile people. I read the comments before I saw the video and it is much worse then expected.

by Anonymousreply 17805/18/2013
I also believe Gordon was cleverly setting her up to be sued; he carefully questioned Amy re. her pastries.

Nobody is going to sue over being lied to about whether the pastries were home made. What are the damages? "Your honor, I suffered deep emotional distress at learning, months after the fact, that someone else had made the carrot cake."

She can be ordered to stop claiming they are homemade. But sued? No.

by Anonymousreply 17905/18/2013
Nobody is going to sue over being lied to about whether the pastries were home made. What are the damages? "Your honor, I suffered deep emotional distress at learning, months after the fact, that someone else had made the carrot cake." She can be ordered to stop claiming they are homemade. But sued? No.

There might be a chance she could be sued by the people she's buying them from who might not be aware that she's reselling them as her own.

by Anonymousreply 18005/18/2013
There might be a chance she could be sued by the people she's buying them from who might not be aware that she's reselling them as her own.

No. Bakers who supply restaurants don't have any expectation that the restaurant will promote their brand.

by Anonymousreply 18105/18/2013

R181

You're assuming that she's purchased them from a supply restaurant. The point is, she may just be purchasing them from another bakery or restaurant who has no idea that she's reselling them. That's why I mentioned:
who might not be aware that she's reselling them as her own.

Obviously, if it's a supply restaurant, they'd be aware she was reselling them, and I woudln't have had to mention it.

by Anonymousreply 18205/18/2013

I don't know anything about restaurant suppliers. If Gordon loved the pastry so much, it had to be locally made with fresh ingredients, no? At a small bakery devoted to the craft? Or does Sysco make pastries that fabulous? Or are there such high end restaurant pastry suppliers? I had read that they were "repackaged" before I watched the episode, so it was kind of curious that Ramsey loved it.

by Anonymousreply 18305/18/2013

R184

Again, you're assuming she's purchasing them under the restaurants name. If you're a restaurant that wants to steal and claim food as your own, you're not going to buy from someone that's not a supplier and then use your business name.

The argument isn't that she didn't use a supplier, the argument is that if she didn't, there's a possibility she could in fact be sued.

by Anonymousreply 18505/18/2013
He didn't love them. He was simply drawing attention to them because he knew she was lying.

Really? I got a different impression. Supposedly, he hadn't seen the kitchen yet to notice that it wasn't equipped for baking. And when he was about to leave, he said something like "Can't wait to try your food, if it's as good as the pastry..." I may have missed something.

by Anonymousreply 18605/18/2013

R186

My take on it is that Gordon knew that she didn't bake those desserts or even cook, prior to setting foot in the place.

Seems to me like the info he got before Production started, either through reviews or from speaking to former staff, included the fact that she buys and resells stuff.

by Anonymousreply 18705/18/2013
Again, you're assuming she's purchasing them under the restaurants name. If you're a restaurant that wants to steal and claim food as your own, you're not going to buy from someone that's not a supplier and then use your business name.

Any businessperson who regularly supplies a large amount of goods to a customer knows that customer is reselling them. And restaurant supply business is done on credit. Therefore, the baker knows exactly who the customer is.

by Anonymousreply 18805/18/2013
Or does Sysco make pastries that fabulous

Their food is in different pricing categories and the higher you go in price, the better it is. And Sysco buys from local suppliers. They're a pretty savvy, gigantic conglomerate.

Here's only one of the companies Sysco buys from

by Anonymousreply 18905/18/2013

Here's another

by Anonymousreply 19005/18/2013
Seems to me like the info he got before Production started, either through reviews or from speaking to former staff, included the fact that she buys and resells stuff.

I'm sure they really check a resturant out before giving the green light. Besides, the production crew was all over that place to setup and test the cameras.

Gordon asked too many times about the baked goods. They gave just enough evidence to the audience to let us discover the truth. Or, perhaps someone from the show posted information posed as an internet sluether. It was a brilliant way to add gasoline to a fire.

I wonder how the lovely couple are doing?

by Anonymousreply 19105/18/2013

Thanks for the link, R189. Dumb questions (since I know nothing about the restaurant supply trade). Sysco's the middle man? Why don't the bakers at the link supply directly to restaurants? Is it a matter of not having the sales force, distribution and transportation networks, and coverage?

by Anonymousreply 19205/18/2013

"God sent me my recipes in my sleep!"

by Anonymousreply 19305/18/2013

I really wish I could be their for the grand 'reopening'. Do you think someone out there could possibly film it for our viewing pleasure???

by Anonymousreply 19405/18/2013

I'm sure it will be all over you tube r194.

by Anonymousreply 19505/19/2013
Why don't the bakers at the link supply directly to restaurants?

The same reason why producers let Trader Joe's repackage their food and sell it with a Trader Joe's label. TJ has the funding to expand into parts of the country that small suppliers don't have. And TJ never goes into a market without knowing they will be successful. They look very carefully at a market, at their own distribution hubs, at transport, population, economic conditions, etc.

Sysco started small like TJ's and became big. Now they have distribution hubs all over the country. If you are a bake shop and you want to go national, you have to make appointments to talk to different distributors and different supermarkets to try to get them to sell your stuff. But if you call Sysco and invite them to try your stuff, it's only one company you have to deal with. Like Walmart. It's easier for producers to use second party distributors.

The cost to ship your product to multiple parts of the country would be too much for the bake shop who wants to go national. It takes a whole transport and communication system that has to be manned. Let someone else do that and you just have to meet the monthly production goals.

A local bakery where I live started out just supplying nearby farmstands, delis and gourmet shops. Then they gradually distributed to other parts of Long Island and NYC. Then to certain Bed, Bath and Beyond stores. Now TJ's sells their chocolate chip cookies under the TJ's brand. They are now nationally distributed. With the money they pick up in these new markets, they may be able to afford national advertising and then they could pull out of TJ's and sell nationwide under their own name.

by Anonymousreply 19605/19/2013

Thanks for taking the time to answer, R196. I learn so many things from DL.

by Anonymousreply 19705/19/2013

Miranda seems very sweet and personable. I hope she goes back to school and gets out of that pirahna business.

by Anonymousreply 19805/19/2013

R198

Miranda said in the episode that she had worked at a lot of restaurants before... that just makes me wonder why the hell she stayed at Amy's for so long. Especially if she was losing out on so much money. She obviously could have made more money waiting tables somewhere else. So, why did she stay?

by Anonymousreply 19905/19/2013

r199 perhaps she was Sammy's plaything? Did you see how Sammy put his arm around her and begged her to stay after Amy fired her?

by Anonymousreply 20005/19/2013

Does Scottsdale have a Mormon population? Katie seemed Mormon to me. Veey clean cut and articulate, not filled with anger like a lot of teenaged girls. I thought Miranda might be Mormon too, but she did have a piercing.

by Anonymousreply 20105/19/2013

Miranda seemed kind of young to have worked in a lot of restaurants.

by Anonymousreply 20205/19/2013

Will she do a porn?

by Anonymousreply 20305/19/2013

R200

I don't think it's Miranda you're thinking of. Katie was the one that Amy fired.

by Anonymousreply 20405/19/2013

Ok. So Katie's the one who said, "Are you sure?" to Crazy Amy which caused Crazy Amy to go ballistic.

by Anonymousreply 20605/19/2013

R206

Thing is, I don't think Amy was wrong... Katie did sort of say it with an attitude. Actually, she didn't say it, she expressed it with her eyes.

But, Amy is so damn crazy, something that stupid sets her off. Imagine what it'd be like to serve her.

by Anonymousreply 20705/19/2013

SNL missed out on the opportunity to do a great skit based on this. Another example of why SNL sucks now.

by Anonymousreply 20805/19/2013

One of those waitresses had only been there for a month or a couple of months. It's not as if they'd put up with that shit for years.

One of the things that "Kitchen Nightmares" made sure was in the episode was how the batshit owners had been through 50-100 waitresses in a short period of time.

by Anonymousreply 20905/19/2013
One of those waitresses had only been there for a month or a couple of months. It's not as if they'd put up with that shit for years.

Katy had only been there a couple of weeks and said she didn't know any better, regarding not receiving tips, etc.

Miranda had been there for several months, and by her own admission, has worked at several restaurants prior to Amy's. She knew better and again, stuck around. Why?

Someone who has worked at other restaurants certainly knows the behavior exhibited by Amy and Samy wasn't normal, and that they could easily find another job that paid more.

by Anonymousreply 21005/19/2013

Fair point, R210, maybe she had transportation issues and Amy's was close to home?

It could just be lethargy. I remember sticking with a really shitty part-time job in college just because I was too lazy/dumb to go out and find another one.

by Anonymousreply 21105/19/2013

Epic fail R51, Sammy doesn't sound Italian at all.

by Anonymousreply 21205/19/2013
Sammy doesn't sound Italian at all.

That's because he's Israeli.

by Anonymousreply 21305/19/2013

Thank you Captain Obvious.

by Anonymousreply 21405/19/2013

Epic fail, R212. Samy may not sound Italian, but even he isn't such a loser asshole that he would respond four days late to a post 150 posts in the past, and in the process of clodding through nine words leave out parenthetic punctuation AND misspell the name of the person who does not sound Italian at all.

Again, in case you got lost in all those words: Loser Asshole.

by Anonymousreply 21505/19/2013

R215 I'm rubber and you're glue, whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks on you.

by Anonymousreply 21605/19/2013

I'm with r186 on this. He seemed to really like the cakes. It's only until he saw the fridge did he turn.

by Anonymousreply 21705/19/2013

Why did her pizzas take so long but were uncooked?

by Anonymousreply 21805/19/2013

Probably because she was the only one allowed to handle the food "prep" for the entire dining room. So unwrapping, thawing, reheating, plating, etc. all that food yourself takes awhile.

by Anonymousreply 21905/19/2013
a lot of people captured screen shots of Amy's swearing all-caps posts, so she can't just pretend it never happened...

You underestimate Amy's power of make-believe.

by Anonymousreply 22005/19/2013

Screaming and yelling also takes a lot of time away from food prep and she's also an idiot who doesn't know anything about food and therefore, doesn't know how long things cook for.

by Anonymousreply 22105/19/2013

It looked as if the pizza crusts were premade and she just sprinkled some random toppings on it.

by Anonymousreply 22205/19/2013

R218 Maybe because she only worked on one order at a time. She did not multi-task the meals at all.

by Anonymousreply 22305/19/2013

R212/R214/R216 = Fat Loser Asshole

by Anonymousreply 22405/20/2013

R224 Isn't there something useful you could be doing instead of stalking my posts. FOAD, you are the "Loser Asshole".

by Anonymousreply 22505/20/2013

There is no way a woman like that should be allowed near knives.

by Anonymousreply 22605/20/2013

Judging from that face, she's been near lots of knives.

by Anonymousreply 22705/20/2013

She reminds me of my sister in law, who is as narcissistic as they come and who believes she is a gourmet chef. Her food is bland and boring, but she goes on and on about spices and fancies herself a sommelier. She does not allow white wine in her house for drinking, only for cooking, because only red wine is for grown ups. She will make fun of the wine someone is drinking at her table in a restaurant or at what people at other tables are drinking. She also insists on being moved at least once after being seated in a restaurant, and sends back anything which isn't scalding hot.

When Amy Bitch talks about her cats, she's just like my sister in law (lets call her Blanche) whose entire Facebook is about rescuing dogs. Blanche has only one dog. She will go on a tirade about fat people (she is anorexic and possibly bulimic) while fat people are in the room with her. For her third marriage recently, she married a fat man. She still insults fat people in front of him. I guess he is exempt because he has $$$.

Blanche would be just like Amy, insulting peoples taste in food, if she had a restaurant. Oh wait, she already does insult people's taste in food in front of them. She doesn't need her own restaurant to be an obnoxious bitch you don't want anywhere near you while dining.

by Anonymousreply 22805/20/2013
sends back anything which isn't scalding hot.

Having worked in a few restaurants, sending food back to the kitchen is a big mistake. Chefs have insane egos and take it as an insult when that happens. Ive seen them spit, hog phlegm, flick boogers on to food that has been sent back to them. One even put his hand into his pants, wipe his ass with and then slather whatever he scared up onto a porterhouse steak. Take solace that your SIL is getting her payback, even if she has no clue.

by Anonymousreply 22905/20/2013

I think the reason Gordon is appealing in this episode specifically is because he is the only compassionate voice to be heard. He cannot believe how poorly the staff is treated (supposedly, he paid Katie's taxi fare after she got fired), and he flips when he hears that their tips are taken by the owners. When a restaurant consists of two loudmouthed bullies lording over a staff of frightened, browbeaten people, anyone who dares stand up against the tyranny is an instant hero.

by Anonymousreply 23005/20/2013

R228 - do you do this in real life too? Make things all abut YOU or your life?

Just a thought.

by Anonymousreply 23105/20/2013

R231 R228's post wasnt about him or his life. It was about his sister in law. Have your reading comprehension skills always been this poor?

by Anonymousreply 23205/20/2013

LOL @ R232. Are YOU really this stupid? The post is about [bold]HIS[/bold] sister in law, therefore it's about [bold]HIS[/bold] life.
She reminds me of my sister in law
When Amy Bitch talks about her cats, she's just like my sister in law

And then he goes on and on for three paragraphs!

Speaking of reading comprehension problem!

by Anonymousreply 23305/20/2013

Yeah, R233, we all hate it when posters relay stories about people in their lives who imitate those on TV, especially when they've used the first person pronoun only twice for identification purposes. And we all think it's the height of narcissism, too, just like you do.

And, of course, we also believe that your criticism has nothing to do with being self-centered or the need to be special and heard.

by Anonymousreply 23405/20/2013
Having worked in a few restaurants, sending food back to the kitchen is a big mistake. Chefs have insane egos and take it as an insult when that happens

I know. I worked in a restaurant when I was a teenager. The chef wasn't that bad, but he would throw the food into the pot with the consommé and let it sit there for a while, then fish it out. He would insanely take it out on the waitresses, screaming and cursing at them. My cousin trained under this chef and later worked in CA where he was twice brought up on charges of harassment for creating a hostile work environment because he did the same thing, screaming and cursing out the waitresses. He eventually opened up his own deli where he and his wife made most of the food because he could not curb his bad work habits. They hired illegal male aliens who wouldn't press charges gainst him. And you would never know he was so nasty in his work life. He's a huge animal lover and a big liberal. But he's a jerk to work with.

Kitchen Nightmares ‘Most Hated’ Restaurant Owners Flooded With Death Threats! Forced To Cancel Press Conference by Amber Ryland, News Editor

Following a disastrous appearance on Kitchen Nightmares, Amy’s Baking Company owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo are moving forward with their grand re-opening on Tuesday but have canceled the planned press conference due to serious death threats against both the couple and their family pets, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

“Amy and Samy have had serious death threats thrown their way,” a source close to the situation told Radar.

“There is one man in particular that police have pinpointed and Amy and Samy will be pressing charges.”

But according to the source, it’s not just one person threatening the couple who butted heads with Gordon Ramsay and bloggers and reviewers alike on Yelp and Facebook.

“The press conference had to be canceled to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Amy and Samy have received many death threats,” the insider revealed.

“And not only are people threatening them, but they’re even threatening to kill their cats, which everyone knows are like children to Amy and Samy.”

A press release was sent wide Monday afternoon stating, “While its Grand Re-Opening Week will commence Tuesday, May 21st as planned, and with a full house, the press conference previously scheduled for 1pm on Tuesday has been canceled.”

“Amy and Samy have said all along that they’ve felt threatened by online bullies,” the source told Radar.

“Things have escalated to a very real level and action has to be taken.”

by Anonymousreply 23605/20/2013

Oh for the love of god...

by Anonymousreply 23705/20/2013

R236 Perhaps they should call the internet police force.

by Anonymousreply 23805/20/2013

r228, ignore the bullies. I enjoyed your post, thank you for sharing.

by Anonymousreply 23905/20/2013

I think these two took PR and legal advice from Jessi Slaughter and her father.

by Anonymousreply 24005/20/2013

Amy takes trolling and histrionics to a level that DLers have to bow down and worship, you have to admit. Bitch is fierce.

by Anonymousreply 24105/20/2013

Where's your god now?

by Anonymousreply 24205/20/2013

Perfecting the new recipes he's going to transmit to her for the grand re-opening.

by Anonymousreply 24305/20/2013

Im confused a to why Fox sent them a letter threatening legal action.

by Anonymousreply 24405/20/2013

Nevermind. This explains it.

by Anonymousreply 24505/20/2013

R245 They still could have had the press conference. That PR company must be the crappiest ever.

They could have asked to have the questions in advance and answered then them in such a way as to avoid saying anything bad about the show. It's not like they had no lead time. They announced it last week.

by Anonymousreply 24605/20/2013

R246

I think the PR firm was using that as an excuse to get out of further repping them.

It sounds like Amy and Samy brought the crazy in discussions (referenced in "disagreements") and they just wanted to get out.

by Anonymousreply 24705/20/2013

Batshit Amy, who insists on "cooking" everything herself, has 1500 reservations for next week?

"Kitchen Nightmare" customers' two hour wait for a meal will seem like paradise compared with what these 1500 tables are going to go through.

I hope that whatever help they have left will be taking lots of photos of Amy screaming and writhing on the floor in what will be, I'm sure, an epic melt-down.

by Anonymousreply 24805/21/2013

99% of them will be people who don't like them but Amy will say they all came out for her and they love her. Watch her spin this shit like its gold.

by Anonymousreply 24905/21/2013

They'll need security and metal detectors at the door. I'm not trying to be funny.

by Anonymousreply 25005/21/2013

Isn't it fun when narcissistic paranoids with persecution complexes end up producing the irrational circumstances they scream about?

They should have news copters over that place this week.

After all, it IS Arizona.

by Anonymousreply 25105/21/2013

I thought it was funny that Amy's Baking Company and the PR Firm have already parted ways. Amy and Samy need to open their eyes, it can't always be everyone else's fault/problem. If it keeps happening over and over look in the mirror and you will have your answer. Truly delusional people.

I wonder if Fox/Gordon Ramsay regret giving these people a forum on the national stage? Maybe they are loving all the publicity for the show? I bet they wish that the ABC Episode was not the season finale as this controversy would most likely result in increased ratings.

by Anonymousreply 25205/21/2013

You guys really believe those 1,500 reservations are from actual customers and supporters? I have no doubt that at least 95% of them are jokes--they won't show up and never intended to.

Lots of naive people here.

by Anonymousreply 25305/21/2013

If those 2 nutjobs were smart they would turn the restaurant into a campy dining experience where the owners/staff berate the diners and they love it. And of course sell T-Shirts in the gift shop.

by Anonymousreply 25405/21/2013

ABC is allegedly a money laundering operation. Given how the business is run and the amount of customers/money that come through the door it is highly unlikely that they would be able to keep the lights on.

Unless Samy is bleeding money every month to satisfy his wife's delusions, the business model they have in place only works if it is a front for some other type of illegal activity.

Samy is the only one that is allowed to enter orders through the POS. Most likely he is entering additional orders that are never made in order to cook the books, artificially inflating profits/sales as a front for the money that is being laundered through the business.

"Dirty" money in, "Clean" money out.

by Anonymousreply 25505/21/2013

The PR company parted ways because they realized these two were batshit crazy, likely because they resisted every effort to adapt, manage or moderate their message (that is, the words they speak, the communications they issue and the social media they post)...which is exactly what a PR company is supposed to do. They must've realized a press conference would be a disaster, so they cancelled it and ended the business arrangement.

by Anonymousreply 25605/21/2013

Amy and Samy did a radio interview to tell their side of the story. It was still those damn Yelpers.
“I started to notice a few people come in the restaurant that looked familiar to me. And as I saw how things were going, and how out of control it was getting, I told my husband, I grabbed the producers in the middle of filming, I said, ‘They are Yelpers. I know two of them for sure are. I have their names and their profiles right here.’ And that’s exactly what happened. My husband and I started to feel that we were being surrounded by Yelpers, completely set up, we didn’t feel that we were going to have a true, authentic way to show our product. And we were right. The people that were there — the people that we are screaming at — they are not our customers. They are Yelpers…My husband and I said, ‘Wait a minute, we are not comfortable. You are endangering our lives.”

And Samy was actually really doing all of the work in the front:
what about that girl who took orders, earned tips (basically performing the job of a waitress), and from whom you then took those tips? Replied Samy: “Taking orders? She took one table, I took five, six at once. I say, ‘You take the orders, bring me the ticket and I will send it through the POS system,’ because she didn’t know how to do it. And if she knew how to do it, it will be mess. Because I’m the only one who knows how to communicate with my wife through the computer, how to send the orders through the tables from the appetizers. The others, they don’t know.”

by Anonymousreply 25705/21/2013

That pr agent looks like a tool.

Amy’s Baking Company Only Hired New Employees For Re-Launch Who Didn’t See Their Kitchen Nightmares Appearance!

Amy’s Baking Company is ready for their Tuesday night grand re-launch, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the owners had a specific prerequisite for new employees hired — they cannot have seen the owner’s embarrassing appearance on Gordon Ramsay‘s Kitchen Nightmares!

“New employees have not seen the episode of the show,” an insider revealed to Radar.

“The owners didn’t want new employees to have a preconceived idea of what it was like to work at Amy’s Baking Company. They wanted fresh people in who had no idea what to expect.”

According to the source, Amy and Samy Bouzaglo have hired a bunch of new employees and plan to have four or five in the kitchen and between seven and nine on the floor for the re-launch on Tuesday.

“Samy is testing out new employees. He doesn’t want to run food but will if new staff doesn’t have what it takes to work their busy floor,” the source said.

“There will be nothing over the top about this opening because Amy didn’t want to do it.”

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported on Monday, the couple have received numerous online death threats, forcing them to cancel a planned press conference at their re-launch — along with a threatening legal letter from Kitchen Nightmares production that could cost them up to $200,000.

But the re-launch will go on and Radar has obtained an exclusive interior photo of Amy’s Baking Company before they open the doors on Tuesday evening:

The source tells Radar that Amy and Samy are excited about the re-launch, but that Amy in particular is nervous because of the online death threats they’ve been bombarded with — comparing herself to congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords who was shot during a public appearance.

“Amy hears press conference, is receiving harassment by the second and comes from Gabrielle Giffords’ state,” the insider told Radar.

“Death threats plus a press conference doesn’t sound like the hottest idea!”

Radar has learned the Bouzaglos parted ways with the PR company who took them on after their Kitchen Nightmares appearance because of “disagreements,” but they’ve already been introduced to a new PR company.

“Amy and Samy have been in touch with a new PR firm who will help them sort through possible reality show opportunities,” the source said.

This might not be the last we’ve seen of Amy’s Baking Company!

by Anonymousreply 26005/21/2013

"Hitler Goes to Amy's Baking Company"

by Anonymousreply 26505/21/2013

I have to watch this movie someday to see what the scene is really about.

"Downfall" 2004

by Anonymousreply 26605/21/2013

I've seen the movie. Hitler was deluded about how the war was going so his generals were afraid to tell him that Steiner had surrendered.

by Anonymousreply 26705/21/2013

That may be the best use of "Downfall" I've ever seen.

by Anonymousreply 26805/21/2013

Samy is facing deportation. He's already banned from France and Germany.

It seems he was a drug trafficker in Europe.

by Anonymousreply 27005/21/2013

Thanks R267

... as if Stevie Wonder even has that kind of time.

by Anonymousreply 27705/22/2013

R270

Then that probably explains what's going on with the business. Because there is no way a restaurant like that could have survived 6 years or afford its recent renovation. Money is coming in (or through) some other way.

by Anonymousreply 27805/22/2013

I love the way real life can make these reality tv idiots bite the dust. The public can't be fooled. They kicked their staff out after the show aired???

by Anonymousreply 27905/22/2013

Ha ha ha!!! Samy really IS a gangster and ICE has been trying to deport him for the last two years. He is also banned from France and Germany.

by Anonymousreply 28005/22/2013

So how did last night's "grand reopening" go???

by Anonymousreply 28105/22/2013

May I suggest Mister Ray's Wig World?

by Anonymousreply 28205/22/2013

A reddits report...

by Anonymousreply 28305/22/2013

I've never seen that sign about "Food may be raw or undercooked" at ANY restaurant.

by Anonymousreply 28405/22/2013

The sign is probably a state law in some states and not in others.

by Anonymousreply 28505/22/2013

It's been in every menu I have looked at in the last decade.

by Anonymousreply 28605/22/2013

Vic Mackey needs to get ion this shift!

by Anonymousreply 28705/22/2013

I couldn't bear to read that reddit report. Neither could me and my friend's alone and my friend's friend's, even though Gordon Ramse was mentioned.
On Tuesday, Samy and Amy talked about their past records and indicated Samy had served time in prison before immigrating to the United States 13 years ago. by Anonymousreply 29005/22/2013

Scottsdale, Arizona is about to lose its title as the customer service capital of the world, because one of the reigning kings of customer service, Samy Bouzaglo of Amy's Baking Company, might be sent back to his homeland. The U.S. Immigration Department might say the same shit to Samy that Crazy Amy said to a prospective customer: WE DON'T LET SLUTTY BITCHES LIKE YOU HERE!

AZ Central says that Samy, who screamed his way into America's hearts on the already legendary episode of Kitchen Nightmares, was at a hearing in court yesterday for his ongoing immigration case that was opened 2 years ago. Samy is in danger of being thrown out of the country and sent back to Israel, because he never told immigration about how he spent time in prison for selling drugs and extorting people before he came to the U.S. 13 years ago. If you live in France or Germany, you can smile an extra smile today, because Samy can't legally enter your country, because he's banned there.

AZ Central was able to get Samy on the phone to talk about this latest mess in his mess of a life and they said that as he was talking, Crazy Amy kept screaming over him and the two fought a lot. But Samy was able to spit this out:

“The FBI knows all about me.... The IRS knows. I want people to know about me. But not today, not tomorrow. I have nothing to hide.”

Are we sure those words that came out of Samy's crazy hole and not the lyrics to Lauryn Hill's next single?

Click here if you need to see a video of Samy acting crazy when a reporter from AZ Central asked him about getting kicked out of the country.

Yesterday, Samy and Crazy Amy (born name: Crazy Amanda) re-opened Amy's Baking Company and they said they had over 1,500 reservations for the week, but barely anybody showed up. Their re-opening was a flop and the people that did show up (to see Crazy Amy's "lion on meth" crazy eyes in person) were turned away for not having a reservation. And then, Samy and Crazy Amy released this "press release" before their re-opening:

SCOTTSDALE, AZ. MAY 15, 2013 -- Amy’s Baking Company will host a Grand Re-Opening on Tuesday night, May 21, following unflattering portrayals on national television.

Customers will be able to decide who is correct: a famous celebrity chef or the marketplace that has supported the small, locally-owned business for six years.

When re-opened, a portion of proceeds will benefit a charity organized to bring awareness to cyber bullying.

CYBER BULLYING! For being dumb bitches, they really are a couple of crazy geniuses

by Anonymousreply 29105/22/2013

fallout?

by Anonymousreply 29205/23/2013

What happened to most of Samy's hair. I'll take Internet Nut Cases for $400, Alex/R292.

by Anonymousreply 29305/23/2013

Is their 15 minutes up? I really hope they get investigated. Samy is probably that narcissistic to think they can be on national TV and still fly under the radar for money laundering.

by Anonymousreply 29405/24/2013

I believe that Samy goes to court on Monday in regards to the deportation case.

He is a money laundering scumbag who entered this country based on a lie. Send him packing.

Samy can go be a "gangster" in Europe.

by Anonymousreply 29505/24/2013

amy has like the speech cadence, intonation, vocabulary of a child, maybe a tween. she's a very disturbing woman

by Anonymousreply 29605/24/2013
I believe that Samy goes to court on Monday in regards to the deportation case.

Monday's a holiday, so I doubt he's going to court then.

by Anonymousreply 29705/24/2013

No, really. You keep him. Please.

And her. Oh, please.

by Anonymousreply 29805/24/2013

What kind of cause would the authorities need to investigate? There are many underproductive businesses out there that certainly seem suspicious.

by Anonymousreply 29905/24/2013

R299 Sammy is charged with providing false information on his application for citizenship. It has nothing to do with his business.

by Anonymousreply 30005/24/2013

They should send her back to prison too, just because.

by Anonymousreply 30105/24/2013

I meant investigation for the alleged money laundering, R300. Yes, it's fishy that the restaurant has been open since 2006 and doesn't seem very productive. But the authorities need cause to investigate it.

by Anonymousreply 30205/24/2013

This bitch is certifiable...

Meow! Gordon Ramsay Is ‘A Ginger Head Troll’ Who Is ‘Obsessed With My Husband’s Balls,’ Says Amy’s Baking Company Owner

Amy’s Baking Company co-owner Amy Bouzaglo is not holding back on how she feels about Kitchen Nightmares host Gordon Ramsay following their controversial appearance, exclusively telling RadarOnline.com that he’s “a ginger head troll” who is “obsessed with my husband’s balls.”

Yes, you read that right.

When asked if the restaurant would ever invite the famed chef back on the heels of their grand re-opening Amy told Radar, “Never! He is a ginger head troll! He tried to ruin my business and my life. And he is obsessed with my husbands balls! No cake for him!!!

“We are so guarded now, and there is such a wrong impression of us out there,” Amy said of business since they appeared on Kitchen Nightmares.

“We have to screen our customers now. If they don’t speak feline they don’t get in……..meow that was a joke!”

As Radar previously reported, Amy and her husband Samy Bouzaglo had a press conference planned for their re-opening last Tuesday but had to cancel after they received a threatening legal letter from producers of the hit FOX show — which clearly hasn’t stopped the loud-mouthed owners from speaking their minds.

“It has been emotionally taxing on Samy and I having such hatred and hostility directed towards us,” Amy said of their new fame.

“It was just a show for entertainment purpose; people really need to lighten up!”

Amy and Samy claim to be victims of “cyber bullying” from several online bloggers and customers, who they habitually responded to online, adding fuel to the fire.

“Since Kitchen Nightmares aired we have not replied to anyone online. In the beginning we replied because these people were spreading malicious gossip and untrue slanderous things about my business. I took them for losers and opened fire with them to let them know that my husband and I are not suckers,” Amy told Radar.

“And we are not going to let the ‘Camel Toe Mafia’ try to ‘extort us out of a free pizza.’ But that was when we were dealing with a handful of bullies here in Arizona. Now it is us versus the entire Internet. We are using our energy towards more positive lucrative opportunities now.”

Speaking of lucrative opportunities, the Bouzaglos have become such an overnight sensation that they tell Radar they are currently entertaining “several” reality TV show offers.

“It would be fantastic entertainment, and a great chance for us to use it as a platform to help bring awareness to cyber bullying,” the Scottdale, Ariz. restaurant owner said.

“Also then they can see I make my cakes and they can all shut the F&*^%$@! Up!!”

And if there’s anything Amy wants the public to know about Amy’s Baking Company, it’s this:

“We care a great deal about our customers and our employees. Samy and I work 18 hour days, and we do not think that we are better than anyone. We do the best we can and we believe 100% in our food,” Amy said.

“We don’t back down from a fight and no amount of wishing we would kill ourselves or go out of business is going to actually make that happen. We are here to fight. Meow!”

Camel toe mafia?
Speaking of lucrative opportunities, the Bouzaglos have become such an overnight sensation that they tell Radar they are currently entertaining “several” reality TV show offers.
“It would be fantastic entertainment, and a great chance for us to use it as a platform to help bring awareness to cyber bullying,” the Scottdale, Ariz. restaurant owner said.

They thought Kitchen Nightmares would be good publicity, and look how that turned out! A reality show would be the best trash ever on television, but I can't imagine it would ever show them in a good light.
“Also then they can see I make my cakes and they can all shut the F&*^%$@! Up!!”

Wait. She's already confessed to buying her cakes from others and reselling them. Now she's back to claiming that she bakes them herself?

by Anonymousreply 30705/24/2013

I just saw this episode for the first time the other night and talk about a pearl clutcher. Why is this crazy ass couple still in business?

by Anonymousreply 30805/24/2013

Two words. Money. Laundering.

by Anonymousreply 30905/24/2013

Looks like deportation ahead

by Anonymousreply 31005/25/2013

R255 nailed it. Makes perfect sense why no one else can use the machine.

by Anonymousreply 31105/25/2013

R311

It's a total money laundering scheme. The sad thing is that I bet that Amy is actually completely clueless to it. She's so dumb that she actually believes they've stayed in business because they're successful and that her food is good because Samy tells her so.

by Anonymousreply 31205/25/2013

r312 I agree. As much as I dislike Amy, I doubt she has any knowledge of Samy's illegal dealings. She seems pretty clueless and was genuinely surprised when Gordon criticized the restaurant. Samy has shielded her from a lot.

by Anonymousreply 31305/26/2013

R313

What's even funnier (or sadder depending on how you look at it) is that while Amy probably has no clue about Samy's illegal dealings, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he set it up to look like she did and she ends up taking the fall completely.

by Anonymousreply 31405/26/2013

r314 I think you hit the nail on the head. Sounds like something he would do. When he was asked by a reporter about the deportation he seemed very anxious to proclaim that he has never done anything illegal in the United States. Amy is most likely the Patsy and has probably unknowingly signed documents implicating her in the money laundering operation.

Was Amy married to Samy when she was busted on the identity theft charges? If she was, I would draw the conclusion that Samy's fingerprints are all over that debacle as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if Samy is deported for lying on his Green Card Application and Amy is left here to face money laundering charges.

When Hitler tells you.

You ain't shit you better listen.

Its bad when Hitler is the voice of reason.

by Anonymousreply 31605/26/2013

If Samy gets deported to Israel, will Amy move there with him? I can just imagine how she will fit in, a shiksa in the Promised Land.

by Anonymousreply 31706/17/2013

Always late to the parade, I just discovered them today. Watched the KN episode and was enthralled. They're so deliciously deluded and insane. I'm hoping that they get a reality show. That would be much watch TV.

by Anonymousreply 31807/05/2013

I hear they've changed the employee contract. Among other things, the wait staff can now keep their tips and don't have to pledge not o work in any area restaurants for a year.

I also hear the shop has become a big tourist attraction, selling tee shirts that say, "I survived Amy's Baking Company" and "Here's your pizza, go fuck yourself."

by Anonymousreply 31907/12/2013
"Here's your pizza, go fuck yourself."

That's kind of funny, actually.

by Anonymousreply 32007/12/2013
a shiksa in the Promised Land.

The reality show just writes itself, doesn't it.

Has the husband been deported yet?

by Anonymousreply 33012/31/2013

Samy should be deported, but he can afford the best immigration lawyers who know how to game the system and keep their shady clients in the country.

by Anonymousreply 33112/31/2013

That was the moment, historical really, when Obama lost America. When Samy wasn't deported. WTF?

Watching the one year anniversary show now. i never saw the original. this is GREAT tv.

by Anonymousreply 33504/11/2014

Tsk. So it all comes down to this lunatic bragging about her homophobia and excusing it because "that's what they are." She equates criticism from anyone as the person being gay. "No balls. Pansies." and she used the (bleeped) term "gay mafia."

Thanks, Mr. Ramsay. Of course such gay bashing is just fine.

Just saw the Dr. Phil episode. What a train wreck. Delusional. They are fame whores. They don't care how ridiculous they look.
