Expect an announcement before the end of summer.

I like Michael, but this is no surprise.
Who the hell reads the Village Voice anymore?
|by Anonymous||reply 2||05/09/2013|
well, there's the final nail in the VV's coffin.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||05/09/2013|
Any 60 year old who still writes about clubbing and back room sex needs to be let go. He is a mess.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||05/09/2013|
Going, going, gone.

DL favorite David Ehrenstein weighs in on R6's link.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||05/17/2013|
Thats stupid R4. Like Musto had anything to do with their ad sells. And who cares if he got material from DL- why not share some gossip? He was still out on the town every night writing about the NYC experience.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||05/17/2013|
r4 is bizarre. What a weird axe to grind!

The VV needs to be combined with the NYU newspaper since the Village is overrun with students these days.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||05/17/2013|
I wonder how much he got paid.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||05/17/2013|
You're all over this site, shitstain. [R14] Too bad when your mother was raped she didn't abort you.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||05/17/2013|
That'll never happen. You'll see.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||05/17/2013|
"The fact Musto (Hi, Mike! We know you crib half your "material" from here!) has been with them this long proves that he doesn't give a shit about young children being raped and sold as sex slaves."
That's like saying that the fact that one stays living in the U.S. means one doesn't care about 250,000 dead Iraqis.
More to the point, what's up with the Voice. I could give a shit about Musto (note, grammar Nazis, how the phrase "I could give a shit" is just like "I could care less," a sarcastic saying and a perfectly legitimate one in spite of its apparent lack of logic in context), but Michael Feingold, who himself reports he is about to be let go, is the best theater critic in NY and the best writer the Voice has.

r4/r14/r18=unhinged; lunatic. Beware.
|by Anonymous||reply 19||05/17/2013|
IT will good not to have someone perpetuated ugly old stereotypes about gay men in such a prominent media position.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||05/17/2013|
R18, I'm not any of those posts, but I agree with them. You sound like a miserable, moldy old skidmark. It is funny how a man's personality is revealed through his writing.
MUSTO, I've always thought you fabulous and funny and although I no longer read the Voice, I always read a story if your name is mentioned within. We wish you the best of luck and know you will be back on top soon.

I really enjoy the guy. This is sad to me.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||05/18/2013|
I like Musto! We must have Musto! Mucho Macho Musto!
|by Anonymous||reply 23||05/18/2013|
He used to appear on Countdown with Keith Olbermann. He was really funny and inappropriate.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||05/18/2013|
R4, that's a pretty big stretch, even for Mama's mussy.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||05/18/2013|
Losing Bill Hader and Michael Musto in the same week is almost too much for this Mary to bear. Come to think of it, Stefon wouldn't have ever existed were it not for Musto's club coverage.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||05/18/2013|
Just heard. What happened?
|by Anonymous||reply 27||05/31/2013|
Is this actually true? Prove it!
|by Anonymous||reply 28||10/01/2013|
And in late breaking news, Celeste Holme is recovering from her unfortunate death and expected to return to the stage.
