And looking good too. Admit it she's rocking this look.

by Anonymousreply 105/06/2013

I really like it - not just the blonde, but also slicking back her bangs.

by Anonymousreply 205/07/2013

She looks great!

by Anonymousreply 305/07/2013

OP = cackle wheeze cackle wheeze

by Anonymousreply 405/07/2013

I think it makes her large features less prominent. She looks ver good.

I want to marry AnnE's gay brother and visit AnnE on holidays and hear stories of Fantine.

by Anonymousreply 605/07/2013

It changes her quite a bit. Like it a lot.

by Anonymousreply 805/07/2013

She also looks like she put back the weight she lost with Les Mis.

by Anonymousreply 905/07/2013

She looks surprisingly good. Last year, many people justified turning Fantine brunette because Hathaway wouldn't look good as a blonde. Well, so much for that theory. I was pretty miffed that Fantine wasn't blonde in the movie because Hugo made a big deal about it in the book. After all, brown hair is so ordinary. The reason why Fantine was able to sell her hair for a large sum is because it was blonde, which was rare back then in the days before peroxide.

She's just copying me.

Anne looks great as a blonde, but the dress is a disaster. It looks like that awful thing Gwyneth wore on the Oscars a couple if years after she won.

by Anonymousreply 1205/07/2013

Wow! She looks hot.

by Anonymousreply 1305/07/2013

AnnE will never be good looking because she has brown eyes. As for this hairstyle; the style is better than what she had before, but blond... no.

by Anonymousreply 1405/07/2013

R14, what the fuck are you talking about? I've known/seen absolutely gorgeous men and women with brown eyes. AnnE isn't one of them, but they do exist.

Also, it's worth noting that "blond" is for males, "blonde" is for females.

by Anonymousreply 1505/07/2013

In most of America, just "blond" is used to refer to both genders. "Blonde" and it's distinction are used more so in Europe, R15.

When will AnnE birth a baby? I do so look forward to her pushing one out.

by Anonymousreply 1805/07/2013

She looks fantastic!

by Anonymousreply 1905/07/2013

AnnE probably won't even have to push. I bet the baby will just slide out.

by Anonymousreply 2005/07/2013

Those oversized chompers just went IMAX.

by Anonymousreply 2105/07/2013

She looks trashy and absurd.

by Anonymousreply 2205/07/2013

Remember Ellen Foley from "Night Court"?

R23 - Ellen sung in Meatloaf's Paradise By the Dashboard Light.

"Last year, many people justified turning Fantine brunette because Hathaway wouldn't look good as a blonde. Well, so much for that theory"

Whether she looks good blonde is a matter of opinion (I think not), but she doesn't look natural.

Fantine needed to look like she had naturally good, unprocessed hair, something that couldn't be achieved by bleaching Hathaway's hair. Maybe she could have gone for a deep chestnut red, if they could have gotten every single root colored before the head-shaving scene.

AnnE really wanted to play Sally Bowles in the upcoming revival of CABARET with Alan Cumming repeating his Tony winning role as the Emcee. The director Sam Mendes and Roundabout Theatre did not want her. Turned her down flat. Don't believe the spin that no one ever approached her about the role.

by Anonymousreply 2605/08/2013

Anne looks better than most of the woman who showed up for that shindig. I like the dress. In fitting with the night's theme, it's edgy but elegant. Kudos to her hairdresser. The blonde hair rocks. All that pot smoking is paying off. She's regained her womanly curves but still looks sleek and sexy in that dress. Brava, Anne. The best revenge IS looking good. And she does.
