Chef Ramsey-yea or nay?

Yea for me; the guy's seriously debonair and hot. Despite fact that he's verbally abusive, he hosts a great show.

by Anonymousreply 3203/04/2015

I love Chef Ramsay, I'm now addicted to BBC America because of his shows.

by Anonymousreply 104/22/2013

Gordon Ramsay? Hot? He's got a face like a fifty year old catcher's mitt.

by Anonymousreply 204/22/2013

Big fat motherfucking NAY.

by Anonymousreply 404/22/2013

A fake, nasty and rude.

by Anonymousreply 604/22/2013

He's a major fucking asshole. And his cooking "skills" are bullshit.

by Anonymousreply 704/22/2013

No, but I'd drink sous chef Scott's piss. Where is he this season?

by Anonymousreply 804/22/2013

Christ, why won't any site let you link their pics? Copy and paste the above link. Here's another sous chef Scott.

by Anonymousreply 904/22/2013

Debonair? Please. Just because he has my kind of temper and is a cousin doesn't mean we'd accept him at our hide-and-seek-with-the-kids Christmas party.

by Anonymousreply 1004/22/2013

I don't believe you know what "debonair" means, OP. It does not mean anyone with an English accent, especially a lower-class one. Gordon Ramsay is a prat.

by Anonymousreply 1104/23/2013

Chef Ramsey is OK. I saw the series where he went to the prison and tried to sell cookies and baked goods made by the prisoners.

I know he tried botox once but guess the went off them. He is a character but debonair, he will never be...

by Anonymousreply 1204/23/2013

I heard he was sued by a man who worked for him for gay sexual harassment and it was quickly settled out of court.

by Anonymousreply 1304/23/2013

My favorite Gordon Ramsay moment, calling for his Maître d', Jean-Philippe: "JP, get your Belgian balls in here!"

by Anonymousreply 1404/24/2013

r7, so he's not a Michelin starred chef?

I've never heard that this part of his bio was fake.

I think he's gone totally off the rails, but I liked the original UK Kitchen Nightmares. He really seemed to know his shit, re: the business aspect.

by Anonymousreply 1504/24/2013

You Donkey!!! Its RAAAWWW!

by Anonymousreply 1604/24/2013

I think he's funny.

R7 is a twat, Ramsey's a good cook.

by Anonymousreply 1704/24/2013

Don't miss this week's episode of Asshole Chef, it's on right after Bitch Judge.

by Anonymousreply 1804/24/2013

Yes, verbally abusive and debonair go hand in hand.

Like honey and gasoline.

by Anonymousreply 1904/24/2013

R13, it's interesting you brought that up. Wasn't there someone on DL some time ago when Ramsey had his show in the US, who said he made men and women go on his casting couch if they wanted to get anywhere on his show? As I recall, the poster said he is a gross pig.

by Anonymousreply 2004/24/2013

Yes, Chef is bi?

by Anonymousreply 2104/24/2013

He looks like he has tinymeat.

by Anonymousreply 2204/24/2013

He looks like a cat's clenched ass.

by Anonymousreply 2304/24/2013

R7 only knows what she's seen on Hell's Kitchen.

Despite all the reality TV BS, Gordon Ramsey is an excellent chef. If you watch his earlier UK cooking shows he's a wonderful chef and obviously loves food and cooking. They don't give you Michelin stars if you're a crap chef.

But he's certainly not debonair. He's rough and tough and kind of awkward and twitchy. Personally I like that. It's sexy. But he's certainly not debonair.

by Anonymousreply 2404/24/2013

He looks like a partially ironed Shar-Pei

by Anonymousreply 2504/24/2013

Didn't he force his children to watch the slaughter of a big or turkey they had raised so they understood where meat came from?

by Anonymousreply 2604/24/2013

Remember that Live cooking show he did in primetime where people were supposed to cook along with him? It was an entertaining disaster.

by Anonymousreply 2704/24/2013

I meant PIG not BIG - sorry.

by Anonymousreply 2804/24/2013

Deff gay

by Anonymousreply 2903/22/2014

[quote]Didn't he force his children to watch the slaughter of a big or turkey they had raised so they understood where meat came from?

What???

by Anonymousreply 3003/03/2015

[quote]Didn't he force his children to watch the slaughter of a big or turkey they had raised so they understood where meat came from?

He did do a segment of one of his how-to-cook shows from his home where he had a pen of turkeys in the back yard. IIRC he didn't make them watch the slaughter, but he did explain that's where meat comes from. It wasn't objectionable.

by Anonymousreply 3103/04/2015

BTW, even if he had made his children watch, it's no worse than thousands of generations of hunters and farmers have done with their children. In fact, it's probably one of the larger disservices of urbanization that we're removed entirely from the process of cleaning and dressing our own meat.
