Brad Cooper visits bombing victim

he's such a good guy, so right for your daughters!

by Anonymousreply 2204/20/2013

I wonder how many seconds elapsed before a nurse had to step in and explain who Cooper was...

by Anonymousreply 104/19/2013

Naturally he makes a beeline to the cute guy's bedside.

by Anonymousreply 204/19/2013

R1, I don't get it.

by Anonymousreply 304/19/2013

I think a lot of people would not recognize Bradley Cooper on sight.

by Anonymousreply 404/19/2013

Really? He's like one of the biggest stars right now. The Hangover movies, he was just nominated for n Oscar.

But ok.

by Anonymousreply 504/19/2013

Eh, he's a big star in the world of PR. He's not a bona fide movie star like Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt. Its presumptuous to think the victim would want to meet him. Next thing you know Ryan Reynolds will be visiting victims.

by Anonymousreply 604/19/2013

OP = very savvy publicist

by Anonymousreply 704/19/2013

Well the guy on the other side of him is on the Patriots and tweeted the pictures.

Either way, the victim looks happy here and that's all that really matters.

by Anonymousreply 804/19/2013

I've often thought about chasing after him myself. My mom would be so proud of me.

Maybe Brad'll buy him his new legs.

by Anonymousreply 1104/19/2013

Bradley wears a lot of cosmetics.

Jeff Bauman is a pretty extraordinary person. He maintained consciousness throughout his ordeal as Carlos Arredondo and the other rescuers got him to the ambulance. He was able to give his name to them and when they forgot, he spelled his name for the ambulance personnel. I think he was the first witness who was able to link one of the bombers to the backpack because he saw him drop the backpack right in front of him. He wrote out the information because he couldn't speak yet. It's amazing that a human being can have the wherewithal to do this under traumatic circumstances.

by Anonymousreply 1304/19/2013

Bradley could easily relate to and comfort the victim given the number of bombs he himself has been in.

by Anonymousreply 1404/19/2013

"Can I give you a sponge bath now?"

by Anonymousreply 1504/19/2013

Wouldn't it have been more appropriate for Daniel Day-Lewis to visit? Who wants to meet a one time nominee? Poor fellow's been through enough.

by Anonymousreply 1604/19/2013

R14 wins.

by Anonymousreply 1704/19/2013

Why does R14 win? Bradley Cooper's films have all been at least modest hits. What are these numerous bombs?

by Anonymousreply 1804/19/2013

My baby, ever the good samaritan.

by Anonymousreply 1904/19/2013

Why didn't Jennifer Lawrence attend? Or did she and get distracted by a pastry in the commissary?

by Anonymousreply 2004/19/2013

His name is Bradley, NOT Brad!!

by Anonymousreply 2104/20/2013

The reason it worked with Christian Bale and the Batman massacre is that it was the Batman massacre and all the victims proved that they not only have a general idea of Bale's existence, but also some interest in his work, by even being there.

This is just the most idiotic and transparent PR move I ever heard of.
