Martin Short: What's he been up to since his wife died?

Saw him last night on a older episode of Damages. He's aged of course but I was surprised at how good he looked- rather attractive. And he was really good in this dramatic role as desperate con artist/lawyer- blackmailed by his own Father. He really made you feel for the character without being totally pathetic.

I was quite surprised at how good he looked, almost a hot daddy.

OP, he was one of the hosts of this season's SNL who got rave reviews (I believe it was the Christmas episode with Paul McCartney as the musical guest). The Hollywood Reporter reports that Lorne Michaels is bringing Short back to network TV.

He is privately calling Kathy asshole Gifford a cunt when she asked him on her show how his wife was, not knowing she had passed 2 years before.

He's going to be on John Mulaney's new NBC show.

John Mulaney is fucking hilarious and super cute so hopefully it does well.

R3 I know you are joking, but for those who didn't see it he was beyond class in that interview. I would have walked out. They have 50 assistants, no one thought to google his family?

I agree, I think he looks great.

Good actor, ugly man, you have low daddy standards.

[quote]you have low daddy standards.

No, just a different opinion. We all like different things. Grow up.

John Mulaney is going to be huge, so this show is going to be great for Short.

Here he is on a Canadian radio show last month. It's a good listen.

I used to have a crush on Martin Short when he was in a short-lived tv series called The Associates waaay back in 1979. I've always had a thing for short cute men.

I loved him as Ed Grimley!
