2013 death pool: who's next?
Roger Ebert, Lady Thatcher, Annette Funicello... the hits just keep on coming.
Who is next? Zsa Zsa keeps hanging in there, and clearly Prince von Anhalt is too wussy to take the pillow to her yet. What about: Nancy Reagan, Prince Philip, Benedict XVI...

I predict someone youngish, perhaps from television. Maybe Simon Baker? (I hope not, for the record.)

Bill Clinton -- the NY times hinted delicately in an article not that longer ago that he was unwell and looking too thin

Clark, Marilyn, Monty, Thelma, Kevin, John, Arthur, those mustangs... I outlived them all!
|by Anonymous||reply 25||04/09/2013|
Not only you eli at r25, but now with the death of Sarita Montiel, Joan Fontaine has outlived all her co-stars.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||04/09/2013|
Sarita Montiel is the 3rd this week, after Mrs T and Annette.
Montiel was a big star in Spain and Spanish speaking countries, a drag queeny glamour gal like a more flamboyant Jane Russell. Almodovar pays tribute to her in his Bad Education, with his drag queen Zahara (Gael Garcia Bernal, looking goregous).
Montiel was in Hollywood in the 50s, with Burt and Cary Cooper in Vera Cruz, 1954 - Mario Lanza's Serenade in 1956 directed by Anthony Mann (one of her 4 husbands, she also had countless lovers) - she is quite good in this with Joan Fontaine as the other woman, and she was in a 1957 western Run of the Arrow with Rod Steiger.

Is there a site that immediately reports all celeb deaths?
|by Anonymous||reply 30||04/09/2013|
"Stiffs" is a pretty good site for keeping up on people going down for the count.
