Where do you get your news

Today I just found out who David Muir is. I don't watch the network news -- by that I mean ABC, CBS or NBC, any of their news programs -- so I had no idea who he was or why he generated so much discussion. I watch MSNBC, sometimes CNN, and do a lot of reading the news on the net (aside from MSNBC and CNN, also Huffington Post, Yahoo, BBC, RadioFrance, Addicting Info, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Think Progress). So I'm curious how many people really do watch the network news anymore or where you get your news.

DL, Gawker, EW.com. TV is just for sitcoms and movies.

So does the website www.nytimes.com count as a "newspaper" or "internet" in this poll? (...and so on, for ft.com, guardian.co.uk, wpost.com, economist.com, etc)

r7, I would say internet, if you never hold a physical newspaper; I buy the Sunday paper for my mom for the coupons, but that's it.

I hate network news -- my folks watch Brian Williams' show when I'm visiting, and it's 30 minutes of "Ugh!"

The Guardian

If I never saw who was anchoring and only watched the stories, I'd know immediately if Muir was anchoring.

So much fluff.

I get my news from Anderson Cooper's cock.

This type of poll is useless if I can make only one choice . . . .I suspect most of us get news from a handful of sources . . .
