Depending on their job, a lot of folks don't work on Sundays anyway. Probably more so on Easter Sunday; there's not a lot going on, unless you work at a restaurant.

To some Christian holidays of Christmas and Easter have become secularized or special days to get together with family and friends to have a communal meal. Vegas is in full spring break mode with all of the dayclubs and night clubs, as well as casinos, promoting the holiday.
