Should Stephanie Meyer be sued for plagiarism because of the Twilight series.

The entire plot is ripped off of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire.

Someone with such little talent and imagination could not have come up with the concept herself. She should pay a tribute in some way to the original author Anne Rice.

I think it's unfair that Stephanie Meyer is taking all the credit.

Oh for fucks sake

Just because two stories are about the same topic (vampires) does not make them the same.

What plot points in each point warrant your claim of plagarism ??

Should the Bram Stoker estate sue Anne Rice too?

The new one is "Invasion Of the Body Snatchers".

I think the makers of "Life Goes On" should sue the OP for plagiarizing (and apparently embodying) Corky.

Hey, Meyer didn't sue the writer of "Fifty Shades of Gray", which is an admitted ripoff of "Twilight".

She doesn't have much right to complain about borrowing from other sources.

OP, are all these threads with titles that are questions without the question marks being started by you?

by Anonymousreply 703/30/2013

are you the same OP that just complained about vaginas???? You can't have a vag and Anne can't have credit. Geeez enough coveting already.

"Fifty Shades of Gray" is a complete rip-off of twilight (it started out as fan-fic... a rewrite of Twilight to include hard-core sex).

by Anonymousreply 903/31/2013

Huh? Twilight is craop, but not even remotely similar to any of Anne Rice's novels. I don't think her vampires sparkle in the sun.

You can sue someone when they write shit too?
