Throughout the entire Iraq war Republicans would chant the refrain, “Support the Troops” as though it were a tax cut. Obviously it was just a nice and friendly bumper sticker message to hoodwink unsuspecting voters into voting for them while they continued to reap profits from the war itself. If you dared question the complete and utter lack of substantive evidence for the assault and its continued extension, you were blindfolded and superstitiously airlifted into a torture chamber in Egypt. Okay, maybe that didn’t happen. But you definitely weren’t going to be winning any elections if you questioned the veracity of the invasion.
Well, the former head of the Republican Party in South Carolina recently called an Iraq veteran who now opposes the war a “cocksucker,” which is fine if you’re Al Swearengen and this is Deadwood.
“What do you get when you combine asshattery and jizzwhistlery with a side of epic douchebaggery? Why, you get @MikePrysner!” Kincannon tweeted.
“This cocksucker @MikePrysner insults American policemen yet thinks Hugo Chavez, currently burning in Hell, was a misunderstood humanitarian.”
