Help me remember a commercial, Datalounge

It was a national commercial for color television sets (for Magnavox? RCA?) from the early 70s, and it was very glamorous but unintentionally campy. Some female movie or Broadway star like Leslie Uggams would appear in a fabulous gown and say something like, "My hair is black, my eyes are a bewitching green, my dress a vivid red. If you're not seeing these colors, you're not watching a [name of television set brand]"

Does anyone remember this and can you help me?

It was Samantha Eggar. "And my dress is vivid green!"

Not that I ever practiced that commercial in the bathroom mirror when I was 9 or anything, no sirree.

Thanks, r1. But which television set company was it for?

ColorTrak from RCA. It's at 2:12 in this video:

Oh, I found it once you gave me the Samantha Eggar tip--it was RCA ColorTrak television.

This starts at 2:12 and goes until 2:42.

The way she says "exclusive" and "remarkable" is really memorable.

Wasn't Terry-Thomas one of the presenters in this series for RCA color telly?

He had a funny way of saying "vivid" with that gap-toothed smile of yours, as I recall.

A number of stars did these commercials, although Samantha Eggar was the most glamorous.

here's Shelly Bruce, the girl who replaced Andrea McArdle as the star in "Annie"
