Was Boris Berezovsky murdered?

Putin's arch-enemy found mysteriously dead in his London home.

Oooh, Molly: you in danger, gurl!

Probable suicide, but you never know.

He lost a large court case, saw his fortune dwindle, and was apparently depressed.

BTW, it's not just Putin that could be a problem. Russia is a fragmented military/FSB ruled fiefdom.

He'd just lost his court case and was ordered to pay Roman Abramovitch's court costs somewhere in the area of 35M pounds. A former mistress said that she's owed 10M from the sale of a home. I've read suicide is speculated. If he'd had anything to gain by spilling secrets or threatening to, you'd think he'd have done a while ago.

What's "FSB," R1? Federal Security Bureau?

Its main responsibilities are counter-intelligence, internal and border security, counter-terrorism, and surveillance.

These pesky Russian emigres are costing the UK quite a bit.

[quote]His body remained at the property while the search - described by police as a precaution - for chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear material was carried out.

No, he was facing financial ruin and his efforts to return to Russia were rebuffed by Putin.

He simply offed himself.
