Rhode Island Senate hearing live now on streaming channel

Just tuned in and the arguments against SS marriage are so weak. And this from philosophy professors.

by Anonymousreply 1604/24/2013

A father just put his daughter forward for testimony and she couldn't answer his question why someome shouldn't have two fathers.

by Anonymousreply 103/21/2013

All this discussion is such a waste of Rhode Island taxpayer's money. With MA to the North and CT to the west, no one is more than 1/2 hour or so away from Gay marriage. And I believe that Rhode Island accepts gay marriages from other States.

A lot of passionate anti-gay testimony tonight. Those Senators are getting bombarded with antigay speeches.

by Anonymousreply 303/21/2013

Amazing testimony from a father talking about his gay son.

The testimony has been going on for many hours now.

by Anonymousreply 403/22/2013

This is incredible. Testimony is still being heard at 4:30 am on SS marriage in Rhode Island.

The haters went home a couple of hours ago.

Hi webbie!

You put blocks and permanent PT on huge chunks of the US and Europe, preventing countless innocent people from posting...

Yet here I am. You will never be rid of me.

You've ruined DL.

Stupid cunt.

Finally over

by Anonymousreply 703/22/2013

Is Rhode Island still a thing?

by Anonymousreply 803/22/2013

R8 is a flaming asshole. The panel went on until 5:00 am. Many people giving great testimony.

R8 is probably more focused on her assless panties.

by Anonymousreply 903/22/2013

when do they vote?

by Anonymousreply 1003/29/2013

Vote in the Senate is expected today. And it's expected to pass.

by Anonymousreply 1104/24/2013

Technically it is Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.

by Anonymousreply 1204/24/2013

SS marriage? Sieg heil!

by Anonymousreply 1304/24/2013

Passed State Senate, 26-12. Now, back to the House next week.

by Anonymousreply 1404/24/2013

The House voted in favor of it earlier this year, didn't they? I think it now goes to Gov. Chafee's desk, who has vowed to sign it into law.

by Anonymousreply 1504/24/2013

I think there were some changes made in the Senate, so the House has to vote again. Hopefully just a formality and the bill will go to Gov. Chafee soon.
