A new user has subscribed to you on YouTube!...says the email

[quote]They don't have a YouTube channel yet, but they will still receive notifications when you upload new videos, create playlists, like videos and so on.

Well, then they shouldn't be able to subscribe.

I don't want some anonymous person, without a fucking channel, subscribing to my channel.

This should not be allowed.

Do you agree?

It doesn't bother me. My videos are hobby instructions so I figure that people are learning while they look. If a few people subscribe who have no channel, why should I object to those few out of tens of thousands of downloads.

Look out, OP! The email is coming from inside the house!

Mine are more personal, so I'd like to know who's subscribing.

I just feel if someone wants to subscribe they should be told to create a channel.

I'm surprised this is allowed, as google are so intense usually about this sort of thing.

For example, you have to have gmail to have a channel of your own.

I don't give a fuck.

Everything you put online is accessible. EVERYTHING. If you dont want people to see it, don't upload it. Google doesn't give a damn; it's just more free content that they control anyway.

Not true.

I don't have gmail. I have a channel.

Then you set it up before they changed the rules.
