Any suggestions? I basically need somewhere to hold my luggage and sleep for a couple hours.
I'm looking for a really cheap hotel any where in West Hollywood

A good way to check out a hotel and its neighborhood is to use Google maps.
Avoid those with water tanks on the roof.

Why does it have to be in WeHo? It's not a very big city, and there aren't a lot of inexpensive options. (And there are definitely no bathhouses.)

try a hotel or hostel booking site

Is there such a thing as a cheap hotel or motel in Weho? Years ago my boyfriend and I stayed at what looked to be a cheap motel. Think it called The Holloway? Something like that. Don't remember if it was cheap, but was certainly skeevy.
Do your research, spend the money.

The Hollywood Spa, on Ivar! Look it up, Silly.

That's not in West Hollywood, it's in Hollywood, which is part of Los Angeles, not a separate city like WeHo.

I once stayed at the Bev Hills Terrace at Santa Monica and Doheny (is that WeHO?) several years ago. Was clean and not too expensive and central to everything.

Stay at the San Vicente Inn. Look it up, Silly!

The Cecil....for the waters.

All you literally need is luggage-holding? Does the WeHo Greyhound have lockers? I know the Downtown LA station does. You just purchase time from a machine there, and voila--luggage storage for a couple hours.

rather than a bathhouse spa, how about a regular spa? they would hold your luggage, give you a massage, and a place for a brief nap.

[quote] Does the WeHo Greyhound have lockers?
There's no Greyhound in WeHo. Or even in Ho anymore, for that matter.

Don't remember the name, but it's tucked in between CVS, on La Cienega, & I HOP on SM Blvd. Clean, cheap, nice guys run it - right in center of WeHo. Find it on a map. The Alta Loma ?

How about a hostel?

Do any of those motor court/motels on Sunset in Hollywood charge by the hour? They look like they would.

What ever happened to the famous Datalounge tradition of appearing in a new city with your suitcase and just finding a trick to spend the night with? There was a great thread about some guy doing that once.

R16 Yes. I know from experience. (But again, not in WeHo.)

Is there no YMCA in West Hollywood?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||03/07/2013|
Bed bugs would creep me out. How do you know who is bed bug free?
|by Anonymous||reply 20||03/07/2013|
Why West Hollywood, though? It sounds like you're hiding something, OP.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||03/07/2013|
what r14 said. The Alta something. I stayed there 20 years ago. First time I had ever seen a cockroach. Cheap and close to everything.

The famous and very grand Hotel Cecil is always nice.
I hear the water is magnificent!
|by Anonymous||reply 24||03/07/2013|
No Cheryl. Closest YMCA is in Hollywood.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||03/07/2013|
There is a Ramada Inn on Santa Monica right in the heart of West Hollywood. Parking and there's restaurants, coffee shops right there.
