"Cover-up" was only a modest hit and probably would have lasted only a couple of seasons anyway. Would he have transitioned to features films? Stayed in TV, doing shitty Lifetime movies, Law&Order guest roles, NCIS-type show a la Mark Harmon, or daytime soaps? He sure was pretty and had a screen presence.
What do you think would have become of Jon-Erik Hexum's career?

Game show host.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||03/03/2013|
More importantly, what was on his Walkman?
|by Anonymous||reply 3||03/03/2013|
I think he would have had a respectable career in television. I envied him. His untimely death taught me not to envy the life of someone else.

This thread is useless without autopsy photos.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||03/03/2013|
He certainly would have been the focus of countless is he or isn't he threads.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||03/03/2013|
While I think he was gorgeous, his limited acting abilities (based on his work) suggests he would have had a short career as a performer, but might have been able to continue as a model, as it seems as if there are more mature male models than female ones.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||03/03/2013|
He would be only 56 today!
|by Anonymous||reply 8||11/05/2013|
He'd co-star in a few Steven Seagal sequels before trying his hand at a comedy. His real money would be made on Law & Order.
He'd marry Yasmine Bleeth and you'd only read about their relationship in Family Circle, Women's Health, and Southern Living. She'd have a product line at Koels.
When her "Pain Reliever" addiction caused by an accident while shooting BayWatch received press coverage, Yasmine would appear on Oprah - with Jon-Erik at her side grinding his teeth.

He would've had a successful career in soaps.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||11/05/2013|
He had the sexiest, deepest voice.
How I envied Meeno Peluce on "Voyagers."
|by Anonymous||reply 11||11/05/2013|
gun safety spokesman
|by Anonymous||reply 12||11/05/2013|
Would've left Tom Selleck in the dust.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||11/05/2013|
He'd have played Tom Welling's Dad on SMALLVILLE. He'd have played Billy Flynn in CHICAGO on Broadway. He would probably have dated Barbara Streisand at some point, though he would have escaped marriage to her.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||11/05/2013|
He was going to marry Emma Samms. They were very much in love. The IT couple of 1983.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||11/05/2013|
No, you're thinking of Rebecca Schaeffer, R15.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||11/05/2013|
He might have married E.G. Daily and spared her from the Solomon creep.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||11/05/2013|
Would have ended up on "Dallas" or "Dynasty," then did guest roles over the years. Would reappear here and there, still looking handsome but more weathered.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||11/05/2013|
Maybe I'm thinking of Dana Hill?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||11/05/2013|
From Diffrent Strokes? She looked nothing like J-EH.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||11/05/2013|
r11 beat me to it about his voice, it wasn't just his looks. He was the total package sex-appeal wise. Couldn't have been overly bright though, considering how he died.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||11/05/2013|
In a desperate effort to preserve his youth and physique, he'd probably have turned into a roidee mess.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||11/05/2013|
had he survived he would have had a great career playing the mentally handicapped and staring in several great zombie movies. maybe even playing in one of the many Frankenstein remakes. if i close my eyes i can just picture him going arrgh.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||11/07/2013|
r23 Just staring? Not acting, or doing stunts or anything?
|by Anonymous||reply 24||11/07/2013|
maybe some stunts. falling down stairs, getting punched etc... though i bet his Stephen Hawking would be amazing.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||11/07/2013|
Hexum was a product of the old hollywood machine. Agents and casting agents, producers who all got to have a turn with him to make him a star. Hexum knew it too and used it well. He would have navigated the 90's pretty well.
