Looking back, in his Titanic days, the guy was a stunner. I've never seen a guy so beautiful. Even to this day, I still love him.
Why do you think Leonardo Di Caprio is good-looking?

|by Anonymous||reply 2||03/02/2013|
I was in high school when "Titanic" was released and all the girls loved him, but I never understood the appeal. The only time he was okay looking was maybe for a few years in his early 30's. He was to femme looking in the 90's and now he looks bloated and old.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||03/02/2013|
In his 20's definitely, now, not as much.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||03/02/2013|
I don't either.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||03/02/2013|
He now looks like a misshapen alcoholic/druggie with bad skin.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||03/02/2013|
He has to get his weight under control but he looks better now that he's older.
He looks like a movie star. He has a James Cagney look...and a bit of a young Orson Wells thing going too.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||03/02/2013|
I don't think I ever felt he was "a stunner," OP. I do find him attractive. In Titanic, he reminded me of a very young Robert Wagner. The way Robert Wagner looked when he also starred in a Titanic movie. I think it was A Night to Remember with Barbara Stanwyck & Clifton Webb. Leo's attractive and he's charming.
I never hear anything about him either. After all these years. I can't recall anyone ever having a personal encounter with him and discussing it. Don't know if he's a nice guy (I think he probably is) or an arrogant, rude, little bitch.
I like Leo and I think he deserved an Oscar for Revolutionary Road. I don't think I've ever missed his movies. I loved him in Gilbert Grape. This Boy's Life.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||03/02/2013|
I join the "I don't" group. I never have.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||03/02/2013|
He was hot in that cop movie in which his character was undercover.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||03/02/2013|
I wonder if he's gay. Something about his "relationships" seems so staged and fake.

Separated at Birth: Leonardo Di Caprio and Connor from Corbin Fisher
|by Anonymous||reply 12||03/02/2013|
|by Anonymous||reply 13||03/02/2013|
I worked on a movie with him and he's a nice guy. He and I were standing at the elevator so we could go up to set. I was pushing a flat dolly that had equipment piled on it. He stepped aside so I could get on the elevator first (he would have to wait for the next one because there would be no room). As I was pushing the dolly into the elevator some of the equipment started to slide and he quickly moved to help me keep it from falling and he helped me rearrange the stuff in a better configuration.
Not many actors would do anything like that.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||03/02/2013|
Leo smokes, he drinks, and he may even indulge in some light drugging, doing a line now & then. He doesn't seem to work out either. So now that he is nearing 40, he is beginning to show some wear, but I still think he is attractive.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||03/02/2013|
Or there's the platinum blond version, Marius Høiby...
|by Anonymous||reply 16||03/02/2013|
Agree that I don't think he's ever worked out a day in his life. Even in his prime, he never had a good body. I loved him in the mid 90's but when I see pics of him from that time now I don't feel the same. A poster here once said he looks like a fat evil baby and it's true. He could be a nice guy but he's a power player and comes across as arrogant. Hollywood elite for these times anyway.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||03/02/2013|
I don't. I never did. I don't understand why he is a famous actor.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||03/02/2013|
R14 Did you get a gay vibe from him?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||03/02/2013|
R8, I totally disagree with you that he looks like Robert Wagner when he was younger. Robert Wagner was gorgeously handsome.
I always thought Leo was over rated in every way.He was terribly wrong for the parts he played because his parts called for a leading man. Instead he always looked out of place like a 13 year old trying to play a leading adult male role.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||03/02/2013|
Here is another picture of very hot young Robert Wagner.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||03/02/2013|
last one of hottie Robert Wagner!
|by Anonymous||reply 22||03/02/2013|
I find him laughable and fugly, an immature manchild with a big head and grumpy demeanour. On top of that he is a shitty actor with an overinflated ego. Worst case of the male species.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||03/02/2013|
[italic]Why[/italic] is he good-looking? I have no fucking idea why: a daily moisturizing regime? Good genes?
|by Anonymous||reply 24||03/02/2013|
I find him laughable and fugly, an immature manchild with a big head and grumpy demeanour.
I've always thought the same thing - he always seems so moody and dull and boring. And he is SO ugly now!
|by Anonymous||reply 25||03/02/2013|
Its the eyebrows
|by Anonymous||reply 26||03/02/2013|
Leo revealed to John Leguizamo that he is uncut.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||03/02/2013|
That's terrible r27. Likely he was just kidding.
And yes, he was very hot in the Titanic days. He just needs to keep the weight off.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||03/02/2013|
Why would Leo be kidding, R28? John is also uncut and that's why the subject came up between them. John talked about it in a Playboy interview.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||03/02/2013|
Please. DiCaprio is a fifth rate River Phoenix.
|by Anonymous||reply 30||03/02/2013|
Except Di Caprio has a couple extra Oscar nominations and is still alive, R30.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||03/03/2013|
For anyone who doesn't remember how hot Leonardo was, take a look at this Letterman interview. He's adorable. And if you listen to the interview, it's evident that he's smart and very self-assured. He handled it much better than most gushing giggling nervous celebs who have an "uh" and "ya know" in ever other sentence.
|by Anonymous||reply 32||03/03/2013|
No he's never been attractive at all and these days he's pretty unattractive.
|by Anonymous||reply 33||03/03/2013|
He's starting to look like Simone Signoret to me now (Google her, kids) but he used to be quite pretty/handsome. I agree that he owes his career to poor River Phoenix's passing, but he's done well for himself.
|by Anonymous||reply 34||03/03/2013|
I think he is more bloated than fat,which makes sense supposedly he is an alcoholic.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||03/03/2013|
R32 Oh come on, he only got a career because he alerted the paps after his sleepover at Demi Moore's house. The guy is yawn factor of the highest order and a very mediocre actor too.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||03/03/2013|
He's more attractive and masculine with the extra weight,IMO. He was too wispy and girly before.
|by Anonymous||reply 37||03/03/2013|
The guy is yawn factor of the highest order
|by Anonymous||reply 38||03/03/2013|
He's still handsome and a nice guy, I don't know why some guys like to tear other people down, but it's pathetic. I'd go to anything he's starring in, especially with Scorcese directing.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||03/03/2013|
r37, a non-fat male is "girly"???
This site does attract some freaks.
|by Anonymous||reply 40||03/03/2013|
He's a nice looking guy. He's good looking. He's also very distinguished looking as an actor.
But I wouldn't say he was stunningly good looking.
|by Anonymous||reply 41||03/03/2013|
He looks like a bloated pumpkin, very ugly.
|by Anonymous||reply 42||03/03/2013|
|by Anonymous||reply 43||03/03/2013|
|by Anonymous||reply 44||03/03/2013|
no, OP, the question is, why do you think that we think he is at all good-looking?
|by Anonymous||reply 45||03/03/2013|
R40, I think R37 is right. He did have a delicate feminine look to him when he was younger.
|by Anonymous||reply 46||03/03/2013|
r46, I don't think you know what "feminine" means.
|by Anonymous||reply 47||03/03/2013|
I never got him.
I think he's gay.
I believe he's driven.
I wonder if he's happy?

He never looks truly happy, so probably not. That's probably why he throws himself into his work and makes movies non-stop.
|by Anonymous||reply 52||03/03/2013|
Leo's a big boozer and also smokes a lot.
|by Anonymous||reply 53||03/03/2013|
He was a pretty boy who morphed into an ugly man.
A cautionary tale for twinkie chiclet twits every where.
|by Anonymous||reply 54||03/03/2013|
On comment of Connor of CF, oh please don't even compare the two. Connor is so far better even with the bi factor included, almost a category of his OWN.
|by Anonymous||reply 55||03/04/2013|
He is ugly to me(big forhead). He was ok looking when he was a teen. It is annoying how the bar is so low for a good looking actor.
|by Anonymous||reply 56||03/04/2013|
Weigh it for yourself honey
|by Anonymous||reply 57||03/04/2013|
His looks peaked in Blood Diamond. Now he looks like booze has taken its toll.
|by Anonymous||reply 58||03/04/2013|
When he was younger he had that androgynous look that so many pre-teen girls and teens girls alike find appealing. ..that's why boybands are so popular.
|by Anonymous||reply 59||03/04/2013|
In Leo's candid pap shots, he is almost always drinking.
|by Anonymous||reply 60||03/04/2013|
Nope. I don't find him attractive at all.
|by Anonymous||reply 61||01/25/2014|
He only got Jonah Hill hired for the overrated Wall Street movie so that Leo would be the pretty one.
He's a lumpy German and though he's undoubtedly a closet case he always seems asexual to me, like he got old without ever going through puberty.
|by Anonymous||reply 62||01/25/2014|
He isn't aging well. He did a cameo tonight on SNL and he didn't look bad but he's not really attractive. As a matter of fact, the young actor who played Jack in Titanic and the man DiCaprio is now, look nothing alike. I was surprised that I liked Titanic at all and it was all due to him. I wasn't really a fan before that movie.
|by Anonymous||reply 63||01/25/2014|
I hated his younger look. Only now do I find him attractive
|by Anonymous||reply 64||01/25/2014|
Yeah, he isn't attractive. He has some charisma but not good looks.
|by Anonymous||reply 65||01/25/2014|
Seeing him on SNL he looked like a handsome adult man for the first time to me. I suppose it helped that he was next to that living troll Jonah Hill.
But he looked great.
|by Anonymous||reply 66||01/27/2014|
I don't think he's good looking at all.
|by Anonymous||reply 67||01/27/2014|
He is an enigma. He still kind of looks boyish/yet mature at the same time. When he's dressed up and styled, he is attractive, but not really handsome. He has a huge pumpkin head. I think at almost 40 he looks better than many of his non celebrity peers, yet not as good looking as his celebrity peers like James Marsden or Jared Leto. No way would 20 year old supermodels be dating him if he wasn't a celebrity.
|by Anonymous||reply 68||01/27/2014|
Add me to the list of people who don't think he's attractive; never did. He seems so sexless.
|by Anonymous||reply 69||01/27/2014|
Even skinny from Dallas Buyers Club, McBongo was so much hotter in their lunch scene. Leo looked like a real tub of lard with his evil baby moon face.
|by Anonymous||reply 70||01/27/2014|
He's not good-looking, He's a creepy baby-faced manchild.
|by Anonymous||reply 71||01/27/2014|
He's one of those people that does not look good with facial hair. He needs to stop with that little goatee.
|by Anonymous||reply 72||01/27/2014|
No Matthew needed at least 30 more pounds on him. He looked to thin. I think Leo let his looks go a little to be taken serious and have a long career. Plus all the publicity from Titanic may have played into his decision also.
|by Anonymous||reply 73||01/27/2014|
The goatee is supposed to hide his fat baby jowls. The goatee doesn't even look real. It's a high riding merkin.
|by Anonymous||reply 74||01/27/2014|
he is fine for his age, but sometimes he looks creepy, maybe it's the characters he played like the one in Django, but he really has a mean look sometimes, is he a mean bitch in real life, any fresh out Leo gossip?
|by Anonymous||reply 75||01/28/2014|
As he matured a bit he became so very handsome. Now, his face is fleshy and his handsome features are being obscured
|by Anonymous||reply 76||01/28/2014|
There was a time when he was handsome, but agree with previous posters that these days he usually looks stout and baby-faced (and not in the good way).
|by Anonymous||reply 77||01/28/2014|
OP = pedophile. A stunner , really?!?? The pic you put up he's about 13. Jesus, no wonder they hate us.
|by Anonymous||reply 78||01/28/2014|
He needs to stop with the goatee and slicked-back greasy hair. It just makes him look CREEPY.
|by Anonymous||reply 79||01/28/2014|
Like looking into a mirror.
|by Anonymous||reply 80||01/28/2014|
At his twink peak he looked like a cookie taken too soon from the oven: soft and ill-formed.
Now he's about a tray full of cookies away from Ernest Borgnine good looks.
|by Anonymous||reply 81||01/28/2014|
Has always looked like a teenage girl. Pushing 40, he looks like a teenage girl left in the oven too long.
The most asexual movie star ever.
|by Anonymous||reply 82||01/28/2014|
He was a knockout last Saturday night on SNL. Jonah Hill was the host, and suddenly Leo appeared (with his standard slip-on blue Keds), but he stood out a mile for his good looks and, believe it or not, his charisma. He did virtually nothing but appear but WOW.
|by Anonymous||reply 83||01/28/2014|

|by Anonymous||reply 86||01/28/2014|
I first saw him in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." I thought he was really good in playing challenged. He looked the part.
|by Anonymous||reply 87||01/28/2014|
He always looks "smirky" to me.
|by Anonymous||reply 88||01/28/2014|
His checkbook is drop dead gorgeous!
|by Anonymous||reply 89||01/28/2014|
Very nice eyes and hair, interesting combination of pretty and rougher features and his star quality and acting talent, which make him very sexy, don't hurt either.
But why ask why?
|by Anonymous||reply 90||01/28/2014|
He was a knockout last Saturday night on SNL. Jonah Hill was the host
A decaying monkey turd would look good next to Jonah Hill.
Seriously, your context is skewed to say the least.

No, that was also titled TITANIC from 1953. A NIGHT TO REMEMBER came out 5 years later and was a British film with no big name actors. It was more of a documentary-type movie.

|by Anonymous||reply 99||05/06/2015|

|by Anonymous||reply 100||05/06/2015|
He was never good looking to me. Why people have always thought he was attractive was beyond me. I wasn't.
|by Anonymous||reply 101||05/07/2015|
He was absolutely gorgeous! In my opinion, he was one of the most beautiful men i've ever seen (on tv and in reality) when he was in his 20s. His performance in Titanic was breath-taking! I can't believe so many people find him unattractive on here but i guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder?
|by Anonymous||reply 102||06/26/2015|
I didn't find him too attractive, but tonight I saw The Departed for the first time, and he looked masculine and grown for the first time(to me.)
|by Anonymous||reply 103||06/26/2015|
He was stunningly gorgeous. I remember seeing Romeo and Juliet in the theater when it came out and actually feeling feelings of romantic love for him. I don't know that that has ever happened to me since.
He's not so great now, but he was still fairly stunning in the Rhapsody in Blue sequence in Gatsby.
|by Anonymous||reply 104||06/26/2015|
"not so great now"? LOL. He's fat and ugly now. German peasant genes will out.
|by Anonymous||reply 105||06/26/2015|
R105 he looks pretty good here, bro.
|by Anonymous||reply 106||06/26/2015|
yet not as good looking as his celebrity peers like James Marsden
Not really a fair comparison @ R68, James Marsden is on a whoooole other level of attractiveness.
DiCaprio was pretty hot in The Departed.

De gustibus non est disputandum.
There is no accounting for taste.
|by Anonymous||reply 108||06/26/2015|
I never found him attractive. Maybe he's nice, maybe he's a good actor but I never really understood his huge appeal. Maybe it's a white thing.
|by Anonymous||reply 109||06/26/2015|
I have never found him attractive. He was too fem looking, pretty boy, but certainly never on my radar of hot guys at all. I think the softness of his appearance is what most women liked about it. He looked vulnerable and they felt he was un-threatening in his masculinity. BUT, now he looks even worse! Oh, and also not the great actor many seem to think him.
|by Anonymous||reply 110||06/27/2015|
