I can't think of anything. I just...I just won't do very extreme things for love. But people have committed suicide...so...
What is the most extreme thing you'd do for love?

Probably become monogamous. That's asking a lot.

Kiss today goodbye, the sweetness and the sorrow.

I drove 14hrs to and from for the wake/cremation of a cat that lasted 1hr. I love cats. I have one of my own. But it's clear I was not of sound mind when I did that.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||03/01/2013|
I'd kill you.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||03/01/2013|
What did I say?
|by Anonymous||reply 5||03/01/2013|
Don't know. It's not something you can forecast. You get caught up in the adrenaline of the moment.
But I don't think people should ask you to give more than you can afford to.

I would do ANYTHING for love... but, I won't do that.

My partner slept on a hospital cot for two months while I was being treated for cancer. Then outfitted a room in the house as a hospital room, with a nurse, for me to come home to recover. He drove me to every single doctor appointment, scan, test, chemo, etc for another 4 months after I got out of the hospital. That is the most extreme thing I can think of.

Stayed with a stupid motherfucker who gave me two black eyes and three stitches in my forehead a couple of days ago.
I paid for a vacation to St. John for the two of us next month, and can't bear to not go. Airfare, hotel, excursions, they are all paid for. I'm in cold NH and need to get the fuck out of here. So I guess I'm going with him. Planning on leaving him the day after we get back.

R9 No. No. No. Give him his walking papers, go by yourself and focus on yourself. You cannot do this.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||03/01/2013|
R9, you'd be better off taking a friend or relative. Even a stranger would be better.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||03/01/2013|
R8, wow that was really sweet. You are blessed to have such a great boyfriend.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||03/01/2013|
R8's BF gives me hope for humanity's future.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||03/01/2013|
R3, you are certifiably mentally disturbed and mentally ill.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||03/01/2013|
Do you mean like, walking in the rain and the snow?
|by Anonymous||reply 15||03/01/2013|
Yeah R15, that's exactly what we meant.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||03/01/2013|
This made me think, a lot, the best thing we used to do was go to a McDonalds across from the hospital when I had a good checkup and we would get Oreo McFlurries. Best moments of my life.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||03/01/2013|
R17, I hate to break it to you, but eating at Macdonald's was the reason you came down with cancer.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||03/01/2013|
Lame trolling, R18...
|by Anonymous||reply 19||03/01/2013|
R18. No sweetie. It wasn't
I'm so sorry you feel the need to ruin something special.
I hope you aren't alone
|by Anonymous||reply 20||03/01/2013|
R8, you have a great story and a very sweet and loving partner.
But please, if you are recovering from cancer, please don't eat at Macdonald's. You are killing yourself.
Let me tell you the latest: Macdonald's food is full of antifreeze. This does irreversible damage to the liver. And if you have had chemo, your body cannot process the chemicals in Macdonald's food.
If you have had cancer, chemo, or are ill, you are committing suicide by eating at Macdonald's.
