He politely said Obama's a liar on Sequester.
Bob Woodward Threatened by White House
|by Anonymous||reply 38||03/02/2013|
he's an ass.
their "threat" consists of insisting he's wrong and will regret being so public with his wrongness.
|by Anonymous||reply 1||02/28/2013|
Bob Woodward is irrelevant - he fellated Bush during his presidency.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||02/28/2013|
Bob Woodward is a CIA operative.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||02/28/2013|
Woodward was Naval Intelligence. He was part of tat righting network that was behind getting rid of Nixon. They used the "liberal news media" to get rid of Nixon because Nixon was too liberal. He opened up China, started the EPA and was about to introduce universal health care.
It was a brilliant move to plant one of their guys at the Washington Post and then feed him information. He brought Carl Bernstein along because Bernstein had liberal cred.

Guess the generals are mad about having their budgets cut.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||02/28/2013|
Look up "past it" in your dictionary. There's a little picture of Bob Woodward.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||02/28/2013|
Politico has the emails
|by Anonymous||reply 8||02/28/2013|
Bron, the next time Bob Woodward speaks, kill him.
THAT was a threat. See the difference?
|by Anonymous||reply 9||02/28/2013|
I read the email. There is no "threat" there; jesus christ.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||02/28/2013|
Bullshit. This man is embarrassing himself.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||02/28/2013|
Why does Woodward support the sequester?
|by Anonymous||reply 12||02/28/2013|
Jesus Christ, if that's a 'threat,' how has poor Woodward managed to get through life?
I didn't know reporters were wusses.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||02/28/2013|
He is a lying scumbag.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||02/28/2013|
See? He already regrets it.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||02/28/2013|
He's desperate to make headlines again. There is no threat in that email. He's made himself a joke.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||02/28/2013|
the only threat is to our intelligence.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||02/28/2013|
What the fuck, Bob?
|by Anonymous||reply 18||02/28/2013|
The press is starting to mock him. Did you read the actual email and his response? What the hell is wrong with him to claim he was threatened. Did Wolf Blizter ever read the email exchange before he fawned all over Woodward?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||02/28/2013|
Wolf Blitzer should be on FOx.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||02/28/2013|
Wolf Blizter's broadcast career should be at the bottom of the dial on the police radio band.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||02/28/2013|
Is it true Bob Woodward used to go to swing parties, and that's how he met the FBI operative who became "Deep Throat?"
|by Anonymous||reply 22||02/28/2013|
Wolf said the email to Woodward was "tame" and non-threatening. He didn't believe him either.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||02/28/2013|
R23. That what Wolf says today. He realizes Woodward makes him look like a fool. If Wolf had said that yesterday, during that interview or immediately after - that would be admirable. But today - when the majority of the media is making fun of Woodward - now Wolf Blitzer jumps on the bandwagon.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||02/28/2013|
R22, that may have been Bernstein, but I ain't telling.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||02/28/2013|
He sounds retarded when he speaks. What's up with that?
|by Anonymous||reply 26||02/28/2013|
I ♥ R9.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||02/28/2013|
R26 He's from Wisgeannsenn.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||03/01/2013|
|by Anonymous||reply 29||03/01/2013|
No, OP. Bob Woodward SAYS he was threatened by the White House, or doesn't that phrasing suit your agenda?
|by Anonymous||reply 30||03/01/2013|
You'd better not shout
You'd better not cry!
[bold] 911: what is your complaint?
Bob Woodward: Hello, police? I've been threatened by the leader of a far northern country [/bold]
|by Anonymous||reply 31||03/01/2013|
Everyone loved Woodward when he put Nixon out to dry, but when he says anything negative about a Democratic president DLers can't find enough bad things to say.
|by Anonymous||reply 32||03/01/2013|
R32 I agree. However do you remember how the conservative press like Faux News and Right Wing radio acted liked Bush was the second coming of Reagan and no one dissented? Bush also had mainstream support for that stupid Iraq war. I had never seen anything like it.
Yes, the mainstream press has been soft on Obama especially on the issue of drones. He's also been more of a centrist than a liberal and that's ripe for criticism. However Obama's reign hasn't been as ruinous,economically, politically or socially for America just yet. He's nowhere as bad as Bush and that's saying alot.
|by Anonymous||reply 33||03/01/2013|
He's said negative things about Dems before and I've been fine.
This time he totally misrepresented a conversation with the White House. Making himself as the victim of a threat. And he was so upset about it.
What is that personality disorder that always sees themselves as a victim?
|by Anonymous||reply 34||03/01/2013|
And now he's gone on the Hannity show and told Hannity what a wonderful journalist he is!
|by Anonymous||reply 35||03/01/2013|
[quote]Everyone loved Woodward when he put Nixon out to dry
He did that for the CIA - not for America. Woodward was a CIA operative whose job it was to help bring Nixon down for discovering the CIA's involvement in the JFK assassination.
|by Anonymous||reply 36||03/02/2013|
Everyone with a secret or a need for revenge goes to see Bob. That hasn't changed in 40 years except for the fact that they'll need a bank of call-takers to handle it from now on. I already pre-ordered his next book on Amazon.
|by Anonymous||reply 37||03/02/2013|
Why would you support a CIA asshole by buying his book?
