For the family of Courtney Griffin, whose hit and run killer, Gabrielle Nestande, 25, was just convicted of “intoxicated manslaughter” and “failing to render aid” yet walked away with the “wrist slap” of 10 years suspended with no jail time, there is no justice for their loved one’s death. None at all.
WRIST SLAP: No Jail Time For GOP Aide In Drunken Hit And Run Death

It is like something out of A Tale of Two Cities.
When the privileges of wealth include the right to murder with impunity, it's time for rich heads to start rolling.

Duh, females never get convicted, especially Republicans.

Isn't this how little Laura Welch of Texas also got her start on the road to fame and fortune?
|by Anonymous||reply 3||02/27/2013|
We got off a time or two...
|by Anonymous||reply 4||02/27/2013|
No, R3. Laura Welch was not driving drunk. She did not do a hit-and-run. And she did not have any political or social influence to secure a lenient sentence. Her accident was determined to be caused by driver inexperience as she had only recently earned her driver's license.
But Vince Foster was murdered to protect Hillary Clinton.

This family's lawyer will clean up in the civil suit. There will be something left for the family, too.

Didn't something like this happen in Florida a couple years ago? Some young, spoiled party girl killed a pedestrian and got away with it?
|by Anonymous||reply 7||02/27/2013|
Law & order Republicans, quick to judge when a minority person is accused, very forgiving if one of their own seriously screws up. Of course, having a powerful and wealthy father always helps too, just to make sure. Does that really surprise anyone?

Breaking News -- it's better to be rich and politically connected than a poor nobody. Story at 11.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||02/27/2013|
Laura Bush was a stone cold homicidal maniac behind the wheel of her Pontiac!
|by Anonymous||reply 10||02/27/2013|
Laura Welch Bush is and always will be a killer. Her family was wealthy.
And Vince Foster wasn't murdered, r 5.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||02/27/2013|
R5 You were doing great until your last sentience, then all your credibility vanished.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||02/27/2013|
There is a large and compelling amount of evidence to suggest that Vince Foster was murdered.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||02/27/2013|
Young, female, Gopper, and BLONDE!
I’m surprised that there was even a trial.
Justice, Texas Style.

R13 If there was any REAL evidence of the Clinton's guilt, the Republicans would have not wasted $50 million dollars on the going nowhere Whitewater "scandal" and instead nailed him on that. And saying something merely suggest a crime is not enough proof.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||02/27/2013|
R15, refute the points on that link if you can. Presidents of both parties murder with impunity. There is a long list of real evidence that Vince Foster was murdered. There is also a long list of real evidence that the Clintons were guilty in the Whitewater deal.
Getting away with your crimes doesn't make you an innocent person.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||02/27/2013|
[quote] There is also a long list of real evidence that the Clintons were guilty in the Whitewater deal.
Sure there was. Keep telling yourself that.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||02/27/2013|
The Clintons got super-rich from "public service" and maintained their law-abiding integrity the whole while. Keep telling yourself THAT whopper, R17!
|by Anonymous||reply 18||02/27/2013|
R18 I never said any of those things. That you now have to tell lies in order to prove your point only backs up my assertion that you have no credibility.

Sounds like she was seriously speeding.
