What do you bitches think about my diet today?

8:30am: 4 egg whites with spinach on dry stone ground whole wheat toast

11:30am: cup of plain oatment with half a scoopful of chocolate whey protein

1:30pm: grilled chicken breast, steamed broccoli, and brown rice with a dollop of salsa; carrot and celery sticks with organic low-fat plan hummus

3:00pm: cup of lowfat plain yogurt with a handful of almonds

4:45pm: pre-workout protein shake, including creatine

7:30pm: post-workout protein shake

9:00pm: poached wild salmon, steamed spinach, romaine lettuce salad with low-fat balsamic vinegar dressing

11:30pm: lowfat cottage cheese

I think you will end up with gall stones if you don't increase your fat intake. Try two eggwhites and one whole egg, and a bit of butter won't kill you, either. Low fat dressing is usually packed with sugar and chemicals. You are better off with a nice, homemade olive oil vinegarette. If you use a good quality balsamic vinegar, you will not need as much olive oil. Also, I dress my salad, then use my salad spinner to get rid of excess dressing.

Over all, it sounds bland and boring.

R6 Oatment is the substance left when you make yourself some oatmeal, don't eat it all and forget to rinse out the bowl. A couple of hours later you have Oatment. It's not very good.

Way too much protein for one day. Too much protein is bad for your kidneys. As someone else said, you need more healthy fat - try some olive oil with your vegetables. You have no fruit in your diet. Have more salsa and add some pineapple to it. Mix apple and blueberries into your oatmeal. Add some chopped apples and oranges to your salad.

Overall, though, it sounds boring and obsessive, and like you need some sort of validation.

But I am a menopausal woman and anything over 750 calories a day causes me to gain weight.

I'm 6'1" and weigh 140 lb. That is normal for my height, but I want to pack on lean muscle without any fat. I was told this diet will accomplish that...quality protein without many simple carbs.

Whole eggs are vastly better as a protein source than egg whites.

This sounds like a 'trainer' diet, one on steroids who wants you to think he did it with diet.

I live in Hell's Kitchen (the place that is overrun with whores, though I'm not one of them). Everyone is built either like me or a muscle god. I'm very attracted to the muscley guys, and I want to have more of their build, but without the steroids. I treasure my balls and internal organs too much for that :)

Jesus H. Christ, how much do you weigh, anyhow? Healthy choices, yes, but how can one person eat that much in the course of a day?

Actually, though healthy, it's a pretty bland affair. The "dollop" of salsa is about the only thing on the whole menu that actually has any zing. (Well, maybe the hummus, depending on how it's made.)

I think you shouldn't worry about calorie intake or fat so much. If you are working out, it is likely that it's difficult for your body to put on fat anyway. Focus on bulking up, get a muscle-building work out routine, and don't worry if you put on some fat along with your new muscle, you can lose the fat later.
