Yuck. He must have mommy issues.
Robin Wright and Ben Foster dating!!
|by Shia||reply 73||02/25/2014|
14 years isn't that unusual.
|by Shia||reply 1||02/23/2013|
|by Shia||reply 2||02/23/2013|
Pfft. She's better looking and richer than any of the women his age in his social circle. He simply has good taste.
|by Shia||reply 3||02/23/2013|
Ben Foster is a Daytime Emmy Award winning actor, while Robin Wright has three Daytime Emmy Nominations.
|by Shia||reply 4||02/23/2013|
She was so sexy in her guest shot on "Enlightened". Get that, Foster!
|by Shia||reply 5||02/23/2013|
I'd be afraid to date her....Sean may still have jealousy issues.
|by Shia||reply 6||02/23/2013|
She sure must be one huge muscle queen. She goes for the guys with the fugliest faces and the hottest bodies.
|by Shia||reply 7||02/23/2013|
I'd do her in a NY second... even though she doesn't walk correctly.
Ever notice that? That scene in Forest Gump, where she's barefoot and walking up to her rotted childhood home, her feet are pointed outward.
Why do so many walk like that? It's not normal.
Feet straight ahead, people!
|by Shia||reply 8||02/23/2013|
He should be so lucky. Well, I guess he is.
Do you show similar outrage over older male / younger female relationships by 14 years, OP?
|by Shia||reply 9||02/23/2013|
[quote]Do you show similar outrage over older male / younger female relationships by 14 years, OP?
no....it isn't the age difference. I just believe no sighted person should ever date a woman over 33.
|by Shia||reply 10||02/23/2013|
Dorris Day and Rock Hudson of modern times.
|by Shia||reply 11||02/23/2013|
Was Doris Day a lesbian?
|by Shia||reply 12||02/23/2013|
Did Ben and Lauren Ambrose date?
|by Shia||reply 13||02/23/2013|
His brother is good looking. Maybe they're adopted. That guy's fivehead...
Her first husband was actually good looking, too. I womder why she only goes for uglies now.
|by Shia||reply 14||02/23/2013|
yuk? She's fucking gorgeous.
|by Shia||reply 15||02/23/2013|
Unless its Jodie Foster, who cares. Well, I guess its better then Penn.
|by Shia||reply 16||02/23/2013|
Gross. Why would he dumpster dive with that old hag? Sick
|by Shia||reply 17||02/23/2013|
Does he hit her too? Sean liked to smack her didn't she?
|by Shia||reply 18||02/23/2013|
Ben has a tattoo that says MOTHERFUCKER
|by Shia||reply 19||02/23/2013|
who is Ben Foster!!!
|by Shia||reply 20||02/23/2013|
|by Shia||reply 21||02/23/2013|
Ben Foster is cute. Stop bashing his looks. Besides, he has a large cock.
|by Shia||reply 22||02/23/2013|
has he displayed it?
|by Shia||reply 23||02/23/2013|
She's just gorgeous--even better looking than she was in "The Princess Bride."
|by Shia||reply 24||02/23/2013|
R24 - No she isn't.
|by Shia||reply 25||02/23/2013|
She's been gorgeous in EVERYTHING...
Santa Barbara, Princess Bride, Forest Gump, Message in a Bottle, etc.
|by Shia||reply 26||02/23/2013|
OP, shut the fuck up unless you "yuck it up" when young women date men old enough to be their fathers and grandfathers.
|by Shia||reply 27||02/23/2013|
R26 - She WAS gorgeous, but her looks have faded some.
|by Shia||reply 28||02/23/2013|
She's aged a hell of a lot better than Cary Elwes or dumb fuck Sean Penn.
She's still beautiful!
|by Shia||reply 29||02/23/2013|
She's a dog and Sean Penn was never handsome (to me anyway)
|by Shia||reply 30||02/23/2013|
She's looking amazing in House of Cards right now. She has a gorgeous body. She's a lot sexier that him... And she's super talented
|by Shia||reply 31||02/23/2013|
R29 - aging better than Sean Penn is damning with faint praise.
|by Shia||reply 32||02/23/2013|
Talk about aging badly.......
|by Shia||reply 33||02/23/2013|
Mandy looks good - older, but good - on Homeland.
|by Shia||reply 34||02/23/2013|
Ben is smoking hot! Love the swagger.
|by Shia||reply 35||02/23/2013|
Believe it or not, men and women are not the same, and they typically value different things when it comes to partnering. In M/F partnerships, men are naturally attracted to youth and beauty and women are attracted to status. That's just the way it is. So, yes it is a little more unusual for a man of any status to "date" an older woman, and the status of the woman is irrelevant. Of course gross old guys are going to be with young young chicks, if they have status (fame/cash). These middle-aged women who have hit the wall, but are still beauties (for their age).. I guess are gravitating toward younger guys of some status, and the younger guys are still doing alright dating the 40s chicks who are still well put together. Most of the young guys getting the older chicks are probably too low status to really get the super hot 20 something chicks, so it kinda balances out at this point.
|by Shia||reply 36||02/23/2013|
She looks so masculine these days. Maybe because she's so skinny and drawn.. Pilates type of body (Jamie Lee Curtis also did Pilates), and the short hair.
|by Shia||reply 37||02/23/2013|
She looks great in House of Cards
|by Shia||reply 38||02/23/2013|
She seems to have a new "facelift" haircut.
|by Shia||reply 39||02/23/2013|
It’s not always about status for women, especially in this day and age when women no longer need to rely on men and can be financially independent. Most women want to actually be attracted to the men they’re fucking. Believe it or not, not every woman wants to settle for some gross old guy, no matter how much “status” he has.
|by Shia||reply 40||02/23/2013|
[quote] when women no longer need to rely on men and can be financially independent.
I don't think you've been paying attention to the economy. Virtually no one is financially independent
|by Shia||reply 41||02/23/2013|
Why do people insist that women only date for power/money and men date only for youth/beauty? Good god, all the M/F couples I know are close to the same age as each other and share the same values; they are also equal when it comes to level of "attractiveness". They also share the same passions.
|by Shia||reply 42||02/23/2013|
IMHO I think society looks at the whole older woman/younger man thing as odd vs. the older man/younger woman thing is because women become infertile with menopause while men stay fertile as they age. Therefore I think society says... But what if the guy wants kids of his own?
|by Shia||reply 43||02/23/2013|
[quote] Why do so many walk like that? It's not normal.
R8 - anyone trained as a dancer walks that way. It's the natural position for the feet in ballet.
|by Shia||reply 44||02/23/2013|
I don't think it's strange. She's still very attractive plus has a body better than most women half her age (see House of Cards). Plus she's an excellent and respected actress.
|by Shia||reply 45||02/23/2013|
Yeah, but the older the sperm, the higher the chances of autism and such...
ask Michael Douglas.
|by Shia||reply 46||02/23/2013|
Agreed R46 but that is a relatively recent finding vs. a long, long history of the older man/younger woman paradigm?
|by Shia||reply 47||02/23/2013|
Here's a link.
|by Shia||reply 48||02/23/2013|
"The risk of chromosomal abnormalities, like Down syndrome, increases for older mothers, but when it comes to some complex developmental and psychiatric problems, the lion’s share of the genetic risk originates in the sperm, not the egg, the study found."
Just say NO to old sperm.
|by Shia||reply 49||02/23/2013|
"n M/F partnerships, men are naturally attracted to youth and beauty and women are attracted to status. That's just the way it is"
Yeah, just like marriage is "between a man and a woman". That's just the way it is.
|by Shia||reply 50||02/23/2013|
Oops, not Tony Randall. sorry Tony RIP.
Who's the actor that's about to become a 1st time daddy at 69? His name escapes me at the moment.
It was reported about 2 wks ago.
|by Shia||reply 51||02/23/2013|
[r47]: researchers haven't been looking at the age of the father link until recently. Also, the life span of humans has been increasing, so men age 50 and above becoming fathers are much more common than ever before. Men have a hard time accepting that their ability to father healthy offspring decreases with their advancing age.

|by Shia||reply 53||02/23/2013|
she's making a big mistake. Demi Moore is only the latest example of a woman in her 40s wasting her last "good" years with a younger guy who is inevitably going to want a child. By the time the guy leaves her, the older woman is really old and the pool of available men for her is getting really small. This happened to my sister too. I cannot remember this scenario ever working out for the older woman. She needs to find a man who has also finished breeding and is a good partner for the future, when bodies start falling apart and you need someone to hold your hand in the hospital.... sorry, I'm projecting now.
|by Shia||reply 54||02/23/2013|
R52. That's the point. The research about genetic abnormalities linked to sperm is so new that it has yet to make an impact on societal views. Also, If you read the article to the end, it looks like the chance that a baby will have developmental issues as a man ages is low. The article ends with some like not saying men over 50 should not have babies.
On the other hand Down Syndrome is much more common in women over 35 and increases significantly in women over 40. It also becomes more difficult for women over 40 to conceive and each year over 40 that difficulty increases. And let's face it... After menopause, it's really over. There are expensive fertility treatments using donated eggs, but these treatments have huge risks.
Historically speaking... It was quite common for 12-year old girls to be married off to 30+ year-old men. The one historical example that I can think of where the woman was older than the man didn't work out so well for the wife -- she got thrown over for Anne Boylen.

"Demi Moore is only the latest example of a woman in her 40s wasting her last "good" years with a younger guy who is inevitably going to want a child"
It's also a bad idea for old men to chase after younger women. Unless he's filthy rich, younger women often end up leaving their much older partners.
|by Shia||reply 56||02/23/2013|
A Greek guy said something about being careful of marrying older men b/c she'd be taking care of children the rest of her life ie the elderly husband and the kids that coul'dnt fend for themselves due to their old sperm beginnings, I should read Plato again. He's probably got the cure for cancer spelled out in there,
|by Shia||reply 57||02/23/2013|
Autism is caused by MTHFR mutations which prevent the body from detoxifying and can cause systemic destruction when "toxins" are trapped in the body.
|by Shia||reply 58||02/23/2013|
Ben Foster can do better.
|by Shia||reply 59||02/23/2013|
This is hilarious cause I always thought he was basically a young Sean. OK, admittedly a bit prettier but watching him in films I saw the same intensity, voice, acting style and similar facially. Upgrade for Robin for sure.. though I found Sean very sexy at times.
Ben is a great actor and just needs the right role to get to the top. Same for Robin, really.. Ben tends to play psycho villains and excels there.

I was hoping that Ben is gay, but, well, oh, well. He's a brilliant actor. In the interviews that I've seen, he's a remarkably down to earth and funny guy.
|by Shia||reply 62||07/17/2013|
[quote]Men age 50 and above becoming fathers are much more common than ever before.
It's due to Viagra. It's not natural.
|by Shia||reply 63||07/18/2013|
She's beautiful. When she was on "Santa Barbara" she refused to wear makeup except what was needed for the cameras. She always looked very natural.
|by Shia||reply 64||07/18/2013|
This story is old as fuck.
|by Shia||reply 65||07/18/2013|

Yes, and that old sperm is causing lots of problems in children. Some say there is a strong link to autism with older dads.
|by Shia||reply 66||07/18/2013|
r66: not just autism. Schizophrenia, some cancers, Down Syndrome, Bipolar disease, etc.
|by Shia||reply 67||07/18/2013|
I saw them walking on 6th Ave. She was clinging on to him but they looked happy, I guess.
|by Shia||reply 68||07/18/2013|
She does r21
|by Shia||reply 69||02/25/2014|
I just saw a movie she's in called "Adore". She fucks her best friend's teenage son and vice versa. (It also stars Naomi Watts). It was a pretty good movie. If you want to see more of them they spend most of the movie in bikinis.

No, it was never "common" for 12-year-olds to marry men over 30.

Something like 60% of the population has at least one MTHFR polymorphism.
