I swear I thought he was Zoila! I mean Jenny did it, fire her.

Lanteigne was hot.

God, why did you have to take away such hot mansnatch?

by Anonymousreply 202/23/2013

Where do you get $1 million home? That's a rather unremarkable neighborhood. And the article says nothing about plans to sell the poor guy's house.

Toronto is in a housing bubble, R3.

That said, that house is featured in today's paper.

It seems like the victim didn't own the house, but the accused did. And the victim refused to move out, so he could sell the house.

So he hired a hit man instead (allegedly)

Canadians. Non story.

by Anonymousreply 702/23/2013

Hmmmm, did they have a daughter?

by Anonymousreply 802/23/2013

The "intruder" defense might work here.

An unremarkable neighbourhood R3? That's the Annex and it's very close to the subway. It's also a detached 5 bedroom home. If it didn't have this stigma attached to it it would probably sell for $1.5M.

by Anonymousreply 1002/23/2013

Seems like there is a lot more to the story.

by Anonymousreply 1102/23/2013

Allan partnered down.

by Anonymousreply 1202/23/2013

This will undoubtedly show up on SVU eventually.

by Anonymousreply 1302/23/2013

That house is at Christie pits--well west of the Annex.

by Anonymousreply 1402/23/2013

They used to say lay down with Greeks, wake up with fleas. But that was just racist. The real story is, lay down with Greeks, and sometimes you don't wake up.

by Anonymousreply 1502/24/2013

I'd like to see more of the house.

by Anonymousreply 1702/24/2013

I know that neighbourhood. Am surprised, bubble or not, you'd insure the place for a million or that an insurance company, famed throughout the land for their love of risk, would insure it at that.

by Anonymousreply 1802/24/2013

Take that back. It's three storeys, detached, and probably has parking. Has obviously had a lot of work done. Although Ossington's a busy street and not in a central neighbourhood. I'm still surprised it's cruising a million at asking. I think it's more realistically priced around $800-850.

R16 is a traditionalist antigay bigot out of the 1970s.

by Anonymousreply 2002/25/2013

It looks like Archie Bunker's neighborhood.
