What is the proper etiquette for notifying people one of their parents is gay but pretending to be straight?

Can I just tweet them or is it necessary to send a letter on nice stationary.

Why do you find it necessary to "notify" anyone? Sounds like you were in a relationship, got dumped, and want to create problems for the guy.

Tweeting sensitive information is always a great idea. Try "Hate to tell you @JohnSmith but your dad @BillSmith is gay. #olddudetakesituptheass"

MYOB.

Better to use stationery than stationary, which is so immovable through the postal system.

by Anonymousreply 402/22/2013

The proper word is STATIONERY you dumb fuck!

Don't waste your time, Clive's kids now know.

by Anonymousreply 602/22/2013

Why would you even consider doing this?

by Anonymousreply 702/22/2013

OP is evil!

Ask Suzanne Sugarbaker how to go about it. She always tells the parents about bisexuals. I'm sure she would know the proper way to tell a child a parent is gay.

by Anonymousreply 902/22/2013

Clearly OP is fucking the gay parent.

Mind your own business.

This reminds me of the old joke: "Everybody with a living mother, take one step forward. Not you, Johnson!"

by Anonymousreply 1202/22/2013

The proper etiquette is to say nothing at all. People who stick their nose into the business of others are déclassé.

Pass a note furiously in class until the teacher makes you read the contents aloud.

Problem solved.
