Anyone Work at Time Warner Customer Service?

I now pay $140 for Triple Play. My Manhattan building can't get RCN and dishes are not allowed. What can I say to negotiate a cheaper rate?

Paid 18 bucks a month for cable with a gazillion channels.

Can't remember provider.

$140 is fantastic. I'm paying $225/m to Comcast for their bundle package. I don't even use the damn landline phone either so it's so annoying.

Say you are switching to netflix and will be using clear for your internet making your total 59.99 a month and unless they want to meet or beat that rate you are cancelling.

Go there in person, not over the phone. Three months ago, I went to the Time Warner office on 96th & Broadway. I spoke to a customer retention representative. I asked what he could do to lower my bill. I said I see other advertised specials lower than what I pay. Within minutes he reduced my bill substantially. There was no contract/termination fees either. He offered me Showtime, which I didn't really want but I figured I'd cancel it later, it was still lower than what I was paying. Took less than five minutes, afterwards he said "thank you for staying with Time Warner Cable"

Triple play $89.95 TWO (2) DVR's (service) $5.00 Showtime $7.95

Total $102.94/month + taxes & fees

Ask for retention dept. threaten to go another carrier. My bill dropped $63. You have to have a record of actually paying your bills.

Well, people who have cable Internet services many have no other choice for Internet service.

But to your point about cable TELEVISION service: I wonder what will happen to cable internet bills when everybody drops their cable television service to watch TV over cable Internet? Any guesses?
