If not Harry Reid . . .

Who would you suggest as the majority leader of the U.S. Senate?

by Anonymousreply 2202/16/2013

Elizabeth Warren

Durbin, Schumer

by Anonymousreply 302/15/2013

Not Schumer. Too many betrayals. And lately I've come to distrust Durbin as well.

by Anonymousreply 402/15/2013

Durbin is too subservient to Obama. We need someone who will LEAD.

by Anonymousreply 502/15/2013

by Anonymousreply 602/15/2013

Kirsten Gillibrand

by Anonymousreply 702/15/2013

Al Franken

by Anonymousreply 802/15/2013

Ben Franklin

by Anonymousreply 902/15/2013

Reid needs to retire to his LDS Ward Bishopship in Searchlight, NV at his earliest convenience.

I vote Warren.

by Anonymousreply 1002/15/2013

Rand Paul!

Long years in the Senate tend to turn ideologues into seasoned politicians who are more concerned with being invited to the cocktail receptions than actually governing the country.

Schumer and his ilk have shown that they're not fighting for the common people anymore. We need new blood like Warren and Franken to shake things up. Too bad the Senate is set up in such a way that rewards seniority and not actual progress or hard work.

What R14 said

by Anonymousreply 1502/15/2013

Someone with the balls to lead.

by Anonymousreply 1602/16/2013

Tommy Smothers.

by Anonymousreply 1702/16/2013

Harry Styles.

by Anonymousreply 1802/16/2013

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

by Anonymousreply 1902/16/2013

Clone Lyndon Johnson.

by Anonymousreply 2002/16/2013

Lena Dunham or Heath ledger

by Anonymousreply 2102/16/2013

Warren is too new, but Franken has been around for a few years now. I don't trust Durbin because he's in the pocket of big Pharma. I'd go with Barbara Boxer or Patty Murray.
