How hard will New York be hit by the storm?

It seems like some people are freaking out- stocking up on bread, milk, water, batteries; others are brushing it off as all hype.

After Sandy we should take things seriously, but bad will things be in the city? Even if we get a foot of snow don't you think it will be cleaned up fairly quickly?

Am I just being a nervous nellie?

6-8 inches tops. Nothing to freak out over. It's going to be rainy on Monday and near 50 the rest of the week, so it'll soon be a distant mamory.

A far off teat.

It's the end of the world as you know it.

At times my mamorys are distant because I lay on my back sans bra.

The city holds heat, so even big storms aren't so bad. Outside of the city, we'll be fucked over.

Zeb Atlas is visiting here this weekend. I hope he survives. Three dead porn whores in one week would be more than those bitches on the muscle service boards could cope with.

Well, this one went off the rails quick even for here.

I stopped reading after R1, when I saw 6-8 inch tops. Where are these tops?

by Hoping for the bestreply 802/07/2013

Thanks for the info. Definitely feel calmer now.

10 to 14 inches by Saturday, according to the City. It's being downplayed due to the continuing issues with Sandy cleanup.

I feel really bad for all those people who still haven't had their houses reconstructed after Sandy. Some people still have gaping holes in their roofs. It's not a joke. How we can claim to be "first world" at this point is beyond me.

Is thread about a Toronto suburb?

by Hoping for the bestreply 1302/09/2013

R13, no one will ever care about Toronto.

New York was once a huge city on an island. It got decimated by storms and sank into the ocean in 2015.

by Hoping for the bestreply 1502/09/2013

You miss the point, dear. Any city could replace 'Toronto' there... New York is hated, and gone are the days where its rude, vile denizens can brag about it.

by Hoping for the bestreply 1602/09/2013

New York is esteemed. More tourists come here than ever and new people move here constantly. Stay in the sticks, R16 dear, where it is clear you belong.
