Is there a way to turn off Thread Watcher?

When it loads, it freezes up everything on my computer for a few long seconds. I'm using Firefox, btw. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

No problem here however you can turn it off via the "settings" feature on the left side of the screen.

R2, I think that setting is just for scrolling, that is, whether the thread watcher stays at the top of your screen as you scroll down or not.

[quote]I'm using Firefox, btw.

These words appear in 98% of all web problem threads.

How can I make Thread Watcher show all recent threads? Mine displays only those I've contributed to.

Firefox was a nightmare for me. I switched to Chrome and it's been clear sailing.

You probably have too many threads in your thread watcher. Run CCleaner to start over with a empty thread watcher or unstar some of the threads.

Firefox is not a problem for me. Keep it current.

Many more than a dozen or so watched threads can gum things up when DL grinds slowly.

What R7 and R9 said. Just un-star most of the watched threads.
