Millionaire Matchmaker New Season
Is anyone still watching? Tonight's episode profiled an alpha female (who's ex- husband and father of their only child shows up to weed out , give approval or whatever to her future bff) So she ends up picking out this guy whp is so obviously gay, that I wonder if this dude is actually the ex-husbands current partner.
Anyone else watch?

Oh goodie, Pattie is soooo personable and warm!
|by Anonymous||reply 1||02/05/2013|
Aren't we boycotting her for some reason?
|by Anonymous||reply 2||02/06/2013|
She's done as much as Occupy Wall Street to damage the public perception of the rich.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||02/06/2013|
Nothing funnier than watching this jewbitch being driven around L.A. like she's some sort of royalty. Cunt please!

I'm less interested in the matchmaking, rather what crawls out of the LA gutter to meet these "millionaires" through the producers horrendous cattle call castings. Then these "millionaires" are then shown to be dating some real winners!
Just review previous episodes to see the numerous castings which include other porn performers and reality show rejects. Some of the reality show rejects include a "sex addict" and game shows where the premise is guessing if they were gay or not. Is this the LA dating scene? How pathetic!
This show is a joke as a result their tactics to land these Millionaires "soul mates."
Just recently they had an Olympic skater go on a speed date with a porn performer Karlo Karrera (who worked in BOTH Gay and Straight porn). His name was "Mario." Incidentally, the follow up segment said the two were in contact still. I'm sure the producers and didn't tell the star athlete his background.

Why is she back? I thought the ratings were low and she was finished. Now she's back with her fake bf and clients making magic on Bravo.
I know, I know...I don't have to watch. And I won't.
But the commercials drive me crazy!

Was this piece of shit renewed? She is really one repulsive bitch. But at least the creepy couple (you know, the ones who look like a punk version of the Mertzes) are gone.
And she has a little gay troll now :)
|by Anonymous||reply 7||12/27/2013|
I can't believe this was renewed . So the new format got rid of the goth-hipster couple that assisted Patty. But now it would seem that she has been sent assistants a la 'The Truman Show'. The new assistants are 2 gay guys and some girl.
Tonight Patty has whatserface's lesbian sister from RHNJ or something. So she assumes that because her male assistant is a gay man, he will be able to find this lady a "lipstick" . She points to her female assistant and says. " You know! Gorgeous like her - but gay!"
|by Anonymous||reply 8||01/02/2014|
Do any of you WeHo guys know the gay Hugh Hefner?
|by Anonymous||reply 9||01/02/2014|
Apparently the show is fake. They use casting agents and a few of the people seem to be professional reality show guests, e.g. lesbian chef Khristiane or however she spells it.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||01/02/2014|
Now Rozilla from RHONJ is a millionaire? Must be the same type of millionaire as Don Caroline's two gay sons from that one season.

Patti has become overbearingly annoying this season. Way to over the top and in your face with her rules and opinions. The show also seems far more artificial this season - the format and the characters.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||01/03/2014|
Agree, R12. I enjoyed the show in earlier seasons. I [italic]liked[/italic] the goth/punk couple. Now it seems truly staged, these kids helping her seem mere lackeys, groupies, and pretty faces; and Patti is even angrier and out of control.
My opinion further soured when I realized she'd had a lesbian affair, apparently had her first orgasm ever with this woman, yet claims she "needs dick." She doesn't know [italic]what[/italic] the hell she wants.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||01/03/2014|
Interesting, I hadn't hear that r13 about Patti's lesbian affair. Where did you read that little tidbit?
Honest to God, the way Patti intrudes on these dates "mini" or otherwise and condescendingly and obnoxiously parents these people while they're in the middle of conversation, I'll be surprised if one of them doesn't haul of and slap the shit out of her before the end of the season.
The way she talks to her employees is disgusting too.
I'd love to throw her and that fat Dance Mom's bitch in a ring and see who'd come out alive. Now that'd be some good tv viewing.

Isn't that what these people sign up for?

The best part of the show is Patti and her consciousness. That's why its fun to watch. The most boring part of the show I'd when the dates happen without her. And that segment has gotten shorter and shorter, which is good.
That being said, I liked the goth couple much better than these new 3, but its hysterical when Patti keeps calling them out and putting them on probation!

R14, she said it on Jenny McCarthy's talk show on VH-1, apparently.
[italic]"I didn’t like doing her, I liked when she did me. That’s the truth. But you know, then I realized I had to have the 'C,' you know what I’m talking about. I had to have a big hunk of a man.
"Jenny asked Stanger, 'So, never again?' to which Patti replied, 'No. I’m totally, totally straight. I tried it, I dabbled. I’m for gay rights, I think they deserve to be married, but that’s it.'"[/italic]

What did you think of her pairing up Rosie from New Jersey with a gal author and the new boyfriend of underwear designer, Andrew Christian?
|by Anonymous||reply 18||01/04/2014|
How hard is it to design underwear? I mean...don't you just pick the fabric, the color & the waistband?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||01/04/2014|
The thing has been on for 7 seasons and she has yet to actually make a match to where the couple got married.
Is it me or does Andrew Christian look mental?
|by Anonymous||reply 20||01/04/2014|
Andrew and the prospective pal have been to the Brite Smile Center.

The current episode of this was re-run today. It was some apparently only-recently-aware-she's-even-gay butch lesbian from Real Housewives of NJ (?) ...She's on her 'date' with the woman they chose, and I'm looking at her and thinking she looks familiar... And then I realize it's [bold]Guinevere Turner![/bold] WHAT the hell is this seasoned actor/writer doing showing up in the cattle call on this show? (Co-wrote "American Psycho" script,co-wrote "Go Fish," wrote some L-Word episodes, cameos here and there....) I guess she's trying to revive her career? The reality TV route seems to be the popular choice lately for breaking into TV, so....
It was painful, though, watching this attractive, accomplished, intelligent woman try to have a "date" with this frumpy, ignorant, working-class "millionaire."
Well, maybe it'll shake things up for her. Good Luck to ya, Gwen.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||01/05/2014|
Ah, R18... I see you were alluding to the same episode I was above.
And I'll take a wild guess that you must not be a lesbian, if you didn't recognize Guinevere Turner, and only mention her as a "gal author." Oh my.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||01/05/2014|
Does anyone think that her "assistants" do any work off camera?
|by Anonymous||reply 24||01/05/2014|
Everything about this show is staged.
|by Anonymous||reply 25||01/05/2014|
Staged and more obviously so this season. . .
The extreme issues that keep millionaires from meeting their match, Patti's pretentious, condescending attitude towards everyone, the over the top "do or die" threats against the assistants, the phony line ups and in your face tear downs of the potential dates, the storm outs, the ridiculous rules and "party games" orchestrated to test clients and assist them in choosing their dates. . . it's so transparently formulaic and increasingly tedious. This may garner ratings, but it can't be helping Patti's image or her business in any way.
And for the record, lesbian woman was not really a star of TRHoNJ She was the sister of one of the housewives who came out at 36 and wasn't a millionaire. The RHoNJ bit and Gwen Turner (one of only 4 possible date choices this time) were clearly dragged out and trumped up for the PR of it all.
At least the underwear designer guy and his date seemed fairly normal. It would have been less OTT if he hadn't brought his date to a runway show as a surprise on the first date though.. . .again with the ridiculous rating grab. . .

The new gay assistant is the very definition of a gayface.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||01/10/2014|
I was also shocked to see Guin Turner on this episode. Here's how I think it might have went down:
"Guin! Hi it's your agent Monte. GREAT NEWS. Bravo wants YOU to do a show for them! I know, it's great right!? Technically, it's not a show about you...but you would be on the show. Still good though, right? You'd be going on a date with a woman. One of the Real Housewives. Who cares which one! They're all hot and rich! Plus...great exposure for you... You'll do it? GREAT! Just so you know, it's not exactly one of the Housewives. It's one of their sisters. Still great though!!!"
|by Anonymous||reply 31||01/10/2014|
The matchmaker's track record is terrible. She brings people together--but no one ever stays together. One, maybe two dates and they're done.
