Somethings make you wish you had a drone.

Why the hell is this incredible tragedy of what's happening in Uganda and Africa in general, in regards to the genocide against all LGBTQ's living on the continent, not more of a global outrage?

by Anonymousreply 302/04/2013

because people are too busy watching the superbowl and reality shows

bread and circuses, if you will

Are the Kardashians somehow involved? If not, who cares?

Third World Problem.

Thanks for the thread, OP. R6:STFU!

So sad. I remember the thread last year about the Gay Pride event in Uganda. These people are so fucking brave. I hope they survive.

And kill the gay people?

by Anonymousreply 902/05/2013

Well R3, I'd say there's pleny of 'reasons'- We want to still have access to their resources Fear of imposing western values and tampering with culture, although this is ridiculous as LGBTQ people are just as much people within that culture. Involvement of white American fundies in promoting this sort of bigoted filth Being black & gay making you the bottom of the pile for human rights.

Oh, and idiots like R6.

by Anonymousreply 1002/05/2013

If they were afraid of cultural tampering, they wouldn't be Christian in the first place since that was imposed on them by the British.

by Anonymousreply 1102/07/2013

Britain is behind the problems in the Middle East, and places like Uganda.

I'm on to it! I'll throw a benefit with Lady Gaga, and I'll invite my richest friends to attend.

It's hard work fighting for our rights but someone's got to do it.

Miss Cleo is FIERCE!

by Anonymousreply 1402/07/2013

W&W for r1. This is sad and scary and hurts a lot. If this passes, they'll be dead. I admire their bravery for even being photographed.
