My boyfriend broke up with me

I didn't see it coming at all, things have been great with us. I feel like I've been sucker-punched. This is the last time, I can't go through this again. Besides, I'm getting too old for romance. 35 is too old, right? (I can hear "Eww, kill it!" from here.)

"things have been great with us."

Denial is not just a river in Africa.

So sorry. In a word, 35 is HARDLY too old to find love/romance again. How long were you together? Please give yourself time to grieve this -- it's going to take a while. Take really good care of yourself.

You are a complete idiot and I respect your boyfriend's intelligence.

I don't think you're that broke up about it. You're posting about it on the Internet, making jokes...meh, you don't care.

Op, it's not too old. You are still young.

Be optimistic and a sucker for love. Be brave and giving again for a man who can show you love.

Don't lose your will to love.

You may feel terribly at the moment Op but it will not be always like that. Try to warm your heart, don't chill it.

You should rebound with his dad or gay nephew. That always works.
