When your boyfriend has embarrassing movements...

Has this ever happened to you? Your boyfriend does something embarrassing in public and suddenly you are sort of ashamed of being with them and their allure or appeal decreases.

by Anonymousreply 2102/02/2013

didn't your boyfriend post a similar thread last week?

by Anonymousreply 102/01/2013

BOWEL MOVEMENTS... in public?

by Anonymousreply 202/01/2013

R1 do you think there's something wrong with me for thinking this? Just wondering. How would you react in this situation?

by Anonymousreply 302/01/2013

R2 NO, I meant to write moments instead of movements.

by Anonymousreply 402/01/2013

Didn't we already have a poop thread last week?

by Anonymousreply 502/01/2013

Sure my BF has done embarrassing things in public. So have I. It is just being human.

Or do you mean you are concerned with what other people will think of you?

by Anonymousreply 602/01/2013

yes...but it was when I was a lot younger and it was guys I dated for a pretty short time. I think I was looking for a reason to end those.

Pretty immature of me but understandable at the same time.

Sounds like OP is the one who is embarrassed, not the boyfriend. And what OP SHOULD be embarrassed about is using "them" and "their" instead of "him" and "his." Surely there is no need to attempt to be gender-neutral when discussing one's boyfriend. And equally surely the singular is appropriate.

by Anonymousreply 802/01/2013

It's usually just a red-flag that you're not that into him.

by Anonymousreply 902/01/2013

I think I know what you mean, OP! I have had two different guys with whom I went out to eat and they acted kind of "nelly" to the wait staff and it kind of embarrassed me at the time.

It must be one long embarrassing moment being out in public with a prissy-gurl of a boyfriend.

by Anonymousreply 1102/01/2013

I am NOT a priss!

by Anonymousreply 1202/01/2013

Is vapid the definition of gay?

by Anonymousreply 1302/01/2013

Anything you are embarrassed about in another's behavior, is your own fears manifesting about yourself.

OP = Jason London's boyfriend

"Anything you are embarrassed about in another's behavior, is your own fears manifesting about yourself."

by Anonymousreply 1602/01/2013

OP, if I were your bf, your "allure" would decrease because you call me "they."

by Anonymousreply 1702/01/2013

Your boyfriend takes a dump in public?

by Anonymousreply 1802/01/2013

Honey, did ya make?

by Anonymousreply 1902/01/2013

My bf is always embarrassed by me. I drink/cuss like a sailor, often in the company of sailors. I'm rich, so he can suck it up and deal.

by Anonymousreply 2002/01/2013

OP, for this Valentine's Day gift, enroll him in a dance class. Soon, his movements will be so graceful and alluring that he'll be sex manifest in your eyes.
