I want to stream something trashy and addictive on Netflix

I am stoned on Nyquil and want to be transported into a netherworld of mystery, fast living, cheesy plots, and old-timey stars. HELP!

How To Survive A Plague

by Anonymousreply 101/28/2013

The original (6 Part, Swedish) Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

What r2 posted.

by Anonymousreply 301/28/2013

3 seasons of Alfred Hitchcock Presents is on Netflix Instant.

Sorry, but Touched By An Angel is not.

by Anonymousreply 401/28/2013

Braxton Family Values. Seriously.

by Anonymousreply 501/28/2013

Trailer Park Boys

Lots of episodes; it's from the early 2000's; humor is random/absurd but I found it funny as hell.

by Anonymousreply 601/28/2013

Thousands of episodes of "Murder, She Wrote" are there for you.

by Anonymousreply 701/28/2013

Gossip Girl, all the way. It's so ridiculous, but once you start watching, forget it!

by Anonymousreply 801/28/2013

"Earthquake" is back on there now. Nothing like watching Ava Gardner play Lorne Greene's DAUGHTER!! Plus, Victoria Principle and her amazing afro!

by Anonymousreply 901/28/2013

Omg, I love E a r T H q U a K E !!!!

by Anonymousreply 1001/28/2013

Is Earthquake in Senssuround?

by Anonymousreply 1101/28/2013

Try Midsomer Murders. Can watch it over and over and over.

by Anonymousreply 1201/28/2013

The VIPs

Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, tons of furs and fabulous clothes, and enough campy drama to sink a battleship.

The other Bubbles. I loved this show! But I don't think it's for everybody, let alone gay everybody.

by Anonymousreply 1401/28/2013

Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.

It's only 45 minutes, but it's hilarious and would be great if you're stoned.

by Anonymousreply 1501/28/2013

I can't believe the OP asked for mystery, cheesy plots, and old-timey stars, and it took seven replies for someone to mention "Murder, She Wrote"!

by Anonymousreply 1601/28/2013

try 70s Columbo

by Anonymousreply 1701/29/2013

Or anything Aaron Spelling. Hart to Hart, Fantasy Island, etc. But I totally recommend black and white Burke's Law of the Spelling oeuvre.

by Anonymousreply 1801/29/2013

Murder She Wrote? Hart to Hart? You people suck.

by Anonymousreply 1901/29/2013

Lost Girl: bisexual succubus solving mysteries, fae creatures, a pretty hot wolf dude, a funny sidekick. Very campy.

by Anonymousreply 2001/29/2013

I must also mention Lost Girl is trashy and cheesy.

Oh and here is a picture of the hot wolf man for your troubles.

"Skins" (UK)

by Anonymousreply 2301/29/2013

Taxi to the Toilet.

Just trust me.

by Anonymousreply 2401/29/2013

Six? Three.

by Anonymousreply 2501/29/2013

Netflix has every episode of the original Melrose Place.

by Anonymousreply 2601/29/2013

It doesn't get more trashy and addictive than "Vampire Diaries"... which is available on Netflix streaming.

by Anonymousreply 2702/24/2013

1927's "Metropolis." It's a silent SciFi movie that will have you mesmerized if you watch it while you are stoned. The "Giorgio Moroder Presents Metropolis" version scores the movie with fab 1980s pop songs.
