I guess Casey Anthony shouldn't have killed her kid. It's an expensive proposition. It's also barbaric.
|by Anonymous||reply 1||01/27/2013|
I'm the only one who has no idea who this person is (I suppose).
|by Anonymous||reply 2||01/27/2013|
She's doing this so she get her debt erased before she writes a best-selling book. That way, the money is all hers.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||01/27/2013|
How is it no one's killed that evil bitch by now? Or at least beat the crap out of it.
|by Anonymous||reply 4||01/27/2013|
Why would she owe Joan Baez 146K?
|by Anonymous||reply 5||01/27/2013|
Hasn't she suffered enough? I mean, her kid was murdered and all!

Casey Anthony's window of opportunity for a selling a book--if there ever was a window--has long since passed. She's still poison to a publisher. No one is going to offer her money for a book. It will be boycotted by the vast majority of society with a brain who knows she killed her kid.
|by Anonymous||reply 7||01/27/2013|
No it won't, R7. It will sell like hotcakes.

[quote]No it won't, [R7]. It will sell like hotcakes.
Casey Anthony is known to be a pathological liar, nobody will believe her story.
Nobody bought O.J. Simpson's book either.
|by Anonymous||reply 9||01/27/2013|
Different situation, R9. And was before the current media age.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||01/27/2013|
R8. If a protest gains traction when the book is proposed or near its release date, it will bomb. People won't buy it. The publishing company and any talk show who tries to book Casey Anthony as a guest will be boycotted and be subjected to a barrage of media attacks and a Facebook and Twitter uprising.
At some point, Casey Anthony will have to get a job to support herself--but her job as an author will fail just as OJ Simpson's lying piece of shit book was. Casey Anthony is persona non grata for killing her daughter. She can claim innocence til she turns blue. She killed her kid and no publisher will reward her for doing so.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||01/27/2013|
R11, are you sure you live in America? Casey Anthony has supporters and she was found not guilty.
And there will always be a market for sensationalism.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||01/27/2013|
[quote]Casey Anthony has supporters and she was found not guilty.
R12. The same could be said about OJ Simpson, and his book failed miserably.
Besides, Casey Anthony has supporters? Very few--and not enough to add up to anything of significance regarding book sales. While Casey Anthony has been in hiding, the world has moved on. Very few people belive her defense.
Casey Anthony may have been found not guilty in court of law, but in the court of public opinion--and on Facebook, Twitter and every other Internet site and talk show should a book materialize--she's guilty. Her supposed book will go nowhere.
She needs to get a job and work for a living. But who the hell would hire her? Oh sure, she might get hired in some private office doing menial tasks with no public interaction. But she thinks she deserves millions, and that's not going to happen.

O.J. is now in jail. Another big difference from Casey Anthony.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||01/27/2013|
motherfucker cant pay for her shit.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||01/27/2013|
She can still get paid big bucks for a TV interview. The network who makes the deal with her will calim "Casey was not paid for this interview"; however, Casey will sell photo rights to the network and that is how she will make her $$$.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||01/27/2013|
R16. A major network will get boycotted and be overwhelmed with those protesting Anthony. And ultimately, the network won't want the negative publicity. They won't touch her.
And a lesser network such as Lifetime, WE, Hallmark, etc., doesn't have that kind of money to make Anthony rich.
And Oprah's network, OWN, won't go near Anthony.
I truly feel the world has moved on. Oh sure, there's still a certain amount of curiousity, but the bad publicity that a publisher or TV network would incur is not worth it.
Casey Anthony killed her kid. Despite the curiousity, some people just don't get a pass or second chance with the public. Casey Anthony is one of them.
It remains to be seen if the public will give Lance Armstrong a second chance--and he's a cheater, not a killer.

There's a market for her story in Europe. She will make money on this.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||01/27/2013|
R18. Please. Europeans don't even know who the hell Anthony is. If they heard or read about the trial while it was happening, maybe there would be a market there immediately following the trial.
But now? If Americans have moved on, then Europeans don't even know who Anthony is anymore.

|by Anonymous||reply 20||01/28/2013|
No one major will interview her because there is no story not because they would get boycotted. No one cares about a broke murderer.
So will she now go to jail because of tax evasion?
|by Anonymous||reply 21||01/28/2013|
"There's a market for her story in Europe"
No, there isn't - if the European is like this one, he only knows about CA from reading about it here, and that was in-depth coverage.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||01/28/2013|
What I meant was outraged Americans would not bother to boycott a European media outlet. She will sell her story to a British tabloid or something. The tabloid will make money from American readers who are engrossed in the story but who will not boycott.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||01/28/2013|
R23. Regardless of what you meant, Casey Anthony is a murderer, and she's not getting another chance with the public. She's over. She thought she would make a lot of money after the trial. She didn't understand or realize there would be such a backlash against her.
And now, her shelf life of making money from her crime has passed. She may try, but it won't work.

But I wanna go to Hooter's!
|by Anonymous||reply 25||01/28/2013|
Casey Anthony appears on Big Brother: "Scott with-the-good-abs butchered body was found in a hefty bag. Casey, do you know anything about this?"
Casey Anthony appears on Celebrity Rehab: "Who pushed Bai Ling off the roof? Casey, do you know? Use your words, Casey."
Casey Anthony on BET's Hoarder clone 'Whoreders': "The whole crib was stacked to the ceiling with dead bodies. We called in an addiction specialist, the coroner, and Madam Cleo to find out who these dead folks were and how they died."

John and I saved a little money by having our food budget reduced owing to circumstances, so we're in a position to help.
