Bradley Cooper in talks for Lance Armstrong downfall pic

I like Bradley but he doesn't seem anything like Lance.

Not so fast, OP.

Don't forget that like Lance, Bradley Cooper has been hiding a big secret about himself.

by Anonymousreply 101/28/2013

Bradley has no testicles?

by Anonymousreply 201/28/2013

Nobody wants to see a movie about liar and cheat Armstrong,

by Anonymousreply 301/28/2013

I nominate Neil Patrick Harris as Lance in a Lifetime Movie Event.

by Anonymousreply 401/28/2013

There's a bit of a physical resemblance but Lance is kind of stoic and Bradley is very expressive. Someone like Josh Brolin would be a better choice.

Bradley is perfect. A liar who plays another liar.

Jeremy Renner

Indeed. One closet case playing another closet case. Hardly a stretch for Cooper.

Several years back, Matt Damon was said to be set to play Armstrong when Lance was still a "hero". What do you think of Damon in that role?

by Anonymousreply 901/28/2013

Perhaps a reporter should ask Damon, R9?

by Anonymousreply 1001/28/2013

Only on DL is defrauding the world of sport considered comparable to pretending you have a girlfriend.

Not quite, bitch @ R11. A lie, is a lie, is a lie.

Doesn't matter how big or how small.

So yes, lying about doping and lying about having a girlfriend because you're really gay = the exact same thing. Two liars.

But thanks for playing, Miss Cooper.

Isn't that why they call it acting?

I know that Academy Awards are regularly given out to actors who "channel" famous living and the not long dead figures. It's usually a triumph of facial prosthetics and weight gain/loss and mimicry of gestures that's touted as some "brave" portrayal, but it usually seems the furthest thing from acting.

R10, what I meant was what would DL posters think of Damon in the role.
