Is John Kerry wearing a wig?

Well? Hmmmm?

by Anonymousreply 119May 29, 2017 5:13 PM

Ratty Korean Wig Citing CONFIRMED.

by Anonymousreply 1January 24, 2013 4:18 PM

If it's a wig it's anything but "ratty" looking. It looks like money.

by Anonymousreply 2January 24, 2013 4:23 PM

He's a loser. I mean the man couldn't beat the second worst president in history (Buchanan was worst).

by Anonymousreply 3January 24, 2013 5:42 PM

[quote]Ratty Korean Wig Citing CONFIRMED.

Oh Dear.

It's "Sighting", sweetie.

by Anonymousreply 4January 24, 2013 5:52 PM

YES. I've worked with him. It's a wig but a somewhat high quality wig.

by Anonymousreply 5January 24, 2013 5:54 PM

And a merkin?

by Anonymousreply 6January 24, 2013 6:16 PM

Thanks,r5.

It looks slightly too glossy to be real hair.

by Anonymousreply 7January 24, 2013 6:30 PM

It's too thick for a man his age.

by Anonymousreply 8January 24, 2013 6:56 PM

Did this asshole's confirmation hearings finally begin today?

by Anonymousreply 9January 24, 2013 8:19 PM

Wow, it's a wig? I always thought "Wow, his hair is so lush and perfect" but it kinda didn't go with his sunken face. I wonder who his wigmaker is.

by Anonymousreply 10January 24, 2013 8:22 PM

It i one of the most obvious wig in Washington, no matter how much he paid.

It's especially obvious right now because some grey has been added.

by Anonymousreply 11January 24, 2013 10:22 PM

Was he orange again?

by Anonymousreply 12January 24, 2013 10:29 PM

I'm so terrible at telling who wears wigs. I wouldn't have guessed.

by Anonymousreply 13January 24, 2013 10:35 PM

We've had many threads on Hollywood hairpieces. Can we use this one to discuss politician perukes?

by Anonymousreply 14January 25, 2013 3:44 AM

I imagine he'll confess when Michelle confesses to her extensions.

But IIRC Kerry has some bad hair as in thick and unruly.

by Anonymousreply 15January 25, 2013 3:53 AM

People always talk about his wig, but never his stilettos.

by Anonymousreply 16January 25, 2013 3:58 AM

I had that exact thought today watching his Secretary of State confirmation hearings...

I see it's a wig for certain.

I always thought he had his own hair. It seems like he had his own hair while running for president in 2008, didn't he?

Or was he wearing a less thick wig in 2008?

I was shocked to see the wig today at the hearings because I always thought his hair was his own.

But the wig he's wearing today has super super ultra thick hair - and no man of his age has hair that thick. No one!

I'm very good at noticing and discerning wigs, toupees, hairpieces.

I can't believe people who can't discern that Robert Redford is wearing a wig. It's so completely and utterly obvious.

by Anonymousreply 17January 25, 2013 4:09 AM

I thought I was the only one who thought it was a wig! When I saw him on TV last night, I thought, "That hair is VERY thick for someone of his age".

by Anonymousreply 18January 25, 2013 6:04 AM

My thoughts exactly r18--if not a wig then maybe hair transplants? He can certainly afford them.

by Anonymousreply 19January 25, 2013 6:08 AM

John Kerry also has facial work done.

Many of his facial crevices over the years became less deep at times and even almost disappeared at times.

Nothing wrong with it - he looks good for his age.

His current wig is way too thick though.

Although it is better, more natural looking wig than many men wear.

by Anonymousreply 20January 25, 2013 6:09 AM

Definitely NOT hair transplants.

Hair transplants do not grow into a huge thick bush of hair like he is wearing.

Can't believe you suggested that very thick wig is hair transplants.

by Anonymousreply 21January 25, 2013 6:11 AM

OMG, I just looked up his age and I had no idea he's almost 70! OK, now we know for a fact that's a wig. NO 69 year old has hair THAT thick.

by Anonymousreply 22January 25, 2013 6:31 AM

He's not almost 70. He won't be 70 until December 11, 2013 which is 11 months from now.

by Anonymousreply 23January 25, 2013 6:35 AM

Hah! r23, THAT is pushing 70! To put it another way, he'll never see 69 again probably in more ways than one.

by Anonymousreply 24January 25, 2013 6:38 AM

He is 69 for the next 11 months.

by Anonymousreply 25January 25, 2013 6:44 AM

That's less than half a year, r25!

by Anonymousreply 26January 25, 2013 6:51 AM

White man's Afro.

by Anonymousreply 27January 25, 2013 6:55 AM

Van Dyke brothers have thick hair. Dick Van Dyke is going to die soon. I had a dream where I read it in the paper.

by Anonymousreply 28January 25, 2013 7:27 AM

How do we know it's a wig? I've never heard this reported before.

by Anonymousreply 29January 25, 2013 7:36 AM

R23/R25 = Moron

by Anonymousreply 30January 25, 2013 7:38 AM

John Kerry better not cost us a Senate seat, that's all I have to say.

Perhaps he's not aware that we just put Scott Brown OUT of the Senate and don't want him back in.

by Anonymousreply 31January 25, 2013 7:46 AM

John Kerry is so old. He used to be a fighter as a young man but now that he's comfortably a statesmen, he just doesn't have the fight in him. We saw all of that on display in 2004.

This country will never move forward if we keep putting the old guards in charge.

by Anonymousreply 32January 25, 2013 7:54 AM

R29, one look at John Kerry's hair and head testifying at his senate hearings yesterday on TV and there is absolutely no doubt he is wearing a wig.

It is completely obvious.

by Anonymousreply 33January 25, 2013 4:35 PM

Funny, I'm usually good at spotting wigs. But for some reason it didn't occur to me for him.

A full head of hair is almost mandatory in this media age. A politician can't really get elected without one. Probably half the older pols wear a wig or piece.

by Anonymousreply 34January 25, 2013 4:47 PM

He's had facial work done, but that is not a wig.

by Anonymousreply 35January 25, 2013 4:50 PM

You'd think he'd find a more flattering style.

by Anonymousreply 36January 25, 2013 4:51 PM

That hair has not blown in the breeze since the Hurricane of 1938.

by Anonymousreply 37January 25, 2013 4:59 PM

It's not a wig. The man ran for president and there was never a whisper of this. Does anyone seriously believe this wouldn't been brought up by his opponents if it were true? Some men are blessed to have a full head of hair all their lives. Look at Ronald Reagan, for example.

by Anonymousreply 38January 25, 2013 5:01 PM

R38, things change from 2008 to 2013.

It sounds like you have not even seen what he was wearing yesterday at his senate confirmation hearings.

You are talking about something you know absolutely nothing about.

It is 100 percent absolutely certain that he was wearing a wig yesterday.

by Anonymousreply 39January 25, 2013 5:17 PM

Link, please, R39, to any confirming source. If he's wearing a wig, others than DLers would surely be making note of Kerry's wig.

by Anonymousreply 40January 25, 2013 7:11 PM

1971

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 41January 25, 2013 8:09 PM

God, he was horrendously ugly in 1971 but that photo makes me think he just has good hair genetics.

by Anonymousreply 42January 25, 2013 8:15 PM

The very definition of BDF.

by Anonymousreply 43January 25, 2013 8:21 PM

It's the Dick Dyke show, starring Van Dyke's dick.

by Anonymousreply 44January 25, 2013 9:04 PM

I met him in the 2004 campaign and he was trying to be all black and talking about his "cockasaurus."

He didn't realize negromen use the word dick not cock.

Anyway John Edwards was laughing and said, "he's only five inches."

He lost the black vote.

by Anonymousreply 45January 25, 2013 9:06 PM

He can afford plastic surgery, believe me.

by Anonymousreply 46January 25, 2013 10:24 PM

correction to my post at R39:

"Things change between 2004 and 2013"

not 2008 and 2013

by Anonymousreply 47January 26, 2013 2:53 AM

I doubt there is any significant politican in the country with a more obvious wig than John Kerry. You would think that with all his money, Kerry would buy slight variations of that wig. But, no he must have bought 8 wigs that look exactly the same, although lately the wigs have more grey.

by Anonymousreply 48January 26, 2013 4:32 AM

Who gives a shit. I wanna know if he's uncut.

by Anonymousreply 49January 26, 2013 4:49 AM

John Kerry's wife is in her 80s, no he is not wearing a wig.

by Anonymousreply 50September 4, 2013 6:26 PM

It's not a wig, and certainly not hair transplants. It would take six heads of hair to get transplants like that.

"Many of his facial crevices over the years became less deep at times and even almost disappeared at times."

Jesus. HD TV uses high-tech diffusers on faces now. Sometimes it almost erases the mouth. NO ONE looks like a normal human on TV anymore.

by Anonymousreply 51September 4, 2013 6:36 PM

He sure looks like he has had some type of filler work done. His face is MUCH fuller and has fewer wrinkles. I think his hair is real.

by Anonymousreply 52September 4, 2013 6:39 PM

Is he a smoker?

by Anonymousreply 53September 4, 2013 6:39 PM

R41 picture makes Kerry look like a young Jay Leno.

by Anonymousreply 54September 4, 2013 6:42 PM

It's all John. No wig, bitches.

by Anonymousreply 55September 4, 2013 7:11 PM

His eye work is terrible! Can't wait to tell my elderly mom about the wig - she was going on and on about how amazing his hair is... Etc

by Anonymousreply 56September 4, 2013 7:17 PM

R51, are you mentally retarded?

John Kerry is most definitely wearing a wig.

He has been wearing it for years.

It is very easy to tell. The fact that you cannot tell it is a wig makes you a very weird person.

by Anonymousreply 57September 4, 2013 7:21 PM

R50, you are hopelessly stupid.

Teresa Heinz Kerry is 74.

And John Kerry most definitely wears a wig.

by Anonymousreply 58September 4, 2013 7:23 PM

R51, the post who said John Kerry used to have crevices which have now disappeared is absolutely correct.

And it is NOT due to HD TV diffusers.

John Kerry most definitely uses fillers to fill in his crevices. It has been very obvious over the past 15 years or more.

by Anonymousreply 59September 4, 2013 7:25 PM

My God, R57 & R58, why are you so obsessed with John Kerry's fake (or not) hair? Not being able to detect a wig on someone on TV means that one is "very weird"? Um....

Let me guess, you started going bald in your late teens and the Propecia didn't work for you.

by Anonymousreply 60September 4, 2013 7:31 PM

[quote]He's a loser. I mean the man couldn't beat the second worst president in history (Buchanan was worst).

I think history will disagree with your assessment. Bush will be the worst ever. His policies caused catastrophes at home and abroad. His arrogant negligence allowed 9/11 to happen despite warnings. He let Cheney and Rumsfeld loose upon the world. He did nothing to deal with the US's long term problems. He made several of them (debt, income disparity, Wall St.) worse. In fact, his budgeting destroyed the budget on purpose solely to use the resulting deficit as a club to lower spending and taxes. He literally ruled from his gut because he believed Jesus was telling him what to do.

by Anonymousreply 61September 4, 2013 7:35 PM

Not a Kerry fan, but that is NOT a wig. Period.

by Anonymousreply 62September 4, 2013 7:36 PM

[quote] I think history will disagree with your assessment. Bush will be the worst ever.

It all depends on the future of Iraq. And it'll take years for that judgment to coalesce.

by Anonymousreply 63September 4, 2013 7:39 PM

Looks like Kerry and his wife have both had some bad plastic surgery.

by Anonymousreply 64September 4, 2013 7:42 PM

He has a "difficult" face.

by Anonymousreply 65September 4, 2013 7:44 PM

[quote]It all depends on the future of Iraq. And it'll take years for that judgment to coalesce.

I don't think so. Iraq has remained a failed state torn apart violently along sectarian lines. The big strategic winner is Iran. The war cost over a trillion dollars and destroyed hundreds of thousands of lives including tens of thousands of troops killed, maimed, or otherwise seriously wounded. And let us not forget that it was a war of choice based on faulty intelligence and propelled by public fear over 9/11.

Iraq could miraculously emerge as Utopia and it would not make up for the disaster.

by Anonymousreply 66September 4, 2013 7:51 PM

R62, you are very wrong. It is most definitely a wig. There is zero question about it.

R64, why do you say they've had 'bad plastic surgery'?

Theresa Kerry looks fantastic. She is quite attractive and looks wonderful. Especially for 74.

And why do you call John Kerry's bad? His face looks very good. Many of the crevices filled in.

by Anonymousreply 67September 4, 2013 7:51 PM

[quote] Iraq could miraculously emerge as Utopia and it would not make up for the disaster.

Bullshit. If Iraq improbably emerges as Utopia, Bush will be given the credit.

by Anonymousreply 68September 4, 2013 8:21 PM

[quote] It is most definitely a wig. There is zero question about it.

The guy's been in public life the last 40 years & was his party's nominee in '04. If he was sporting a wig, don't you think Drudge, Rush & Faux News would've been trumpeting this 24/7 in '04?

by Anonymousreply 69September 4, 2013 8:24 PM

Why would Bush be given credit? It would be decades after he removed Saddam. Did he plant magic seeds?

I was hopeful at the time that removing Saddam would leave Iraq a model for the rest of the Arab world to follow, At the beginning of the Arab Spring I even thought it might be happening. But look at the results.

This area has no history of Western-style democracy, and they do not have the values necessary for that form of government to work. Most of these nations are divided along religious lines between two sects that each believes it must destroy the other.

I'm afraid these countries need to be ruled with a secular iron fist to remain stable and relatively peaceful.

by Anonymousreply 70September 4, 2013 8:29 PM

R69, no.

by Anonymousreply 71September 4, 2013 8:30 PM

You know little of politics, R71. They made a big deal of Kerry parasailing, why on earth would they have respected his follicular privacy?!

by Anonymousreply 72September 4, 2013 8:36 PM

[quote] Why would Bush be given credit? It would be decades after he removed Saddam. Did he plant magic seeds?

Because Saddam and his offspring were poised to control Iraq for decades to come.

by Anonymousreply 73September 4, 2013 8:38 PM

"...follicular privacy."

lol,r72

by Anonymousreply 74September 4, 2013 8:42 PM

If it looks like a wig, it's probably a wig.

by Anonymousreply 75September 4, 2013 8:49 PM

[quote]Because Saddam and his offspring were poised to control Iraq for decades to come.

And removing them led to . . ?

by Anonymousreply 76September 4, 2013 8:51 PM

R72, I have been very interested in and very well-informed about politics since age 20 and I am now 65.

I follow politics closely.

And that is definitely a wig.

by Anonymousreply 77September 4, 2013 9:11 PM

Why do posters like R50 come on Datalounge and make patently false statements such as R50 made saying "Theresa Kerry is in her 80's".

She is 74.

Why not check your facts before making such misleading statements?

by Anonymousreply 78September 4, 2013 9:15 PM

Everyone in Massachusetts knows she's a five star cunt.

She dropped the name Kerry from her bio and stationery the morning after Lurch lost the 2004 election to Dubya.

by Anonymousreply 79September 4, 2013 9:20 PM

R600, R57 = Prancing priss-pot having a tizzy over hair, tripping over his caftan.

by Anonymousreply 80September 4, 2013 9:58 PM

That would be R60, not 600.

by Anonymousreply 81September 4, 2013 10:01 PM

Wigs are quite lovely, really. I like to throw one on whenever I leave the house.

Nothing looks better than a brilliant shock of hair on a well-groomed gentleman.

by Anonymousreply 82September 4, 2013 10:11 PM

Sticks and stones, R80, sticks and stones.

by Anonymousreply 83September 4, 2013 10:13 PM

It is not a wig. He wouldn't windsurf wearing a wig.

by Anonymousreply 84September 4, 2013 11:50 PM

I don't know what he has done to his face but he looks like Eric Stolz in Mask.

by Anonymousreply 85September 5, 2013 12:06 AM

[quote]I don't know what he has done to his face but he looks like Eric Stolz in Mask.

lol, that's the exact image that came to my mind as well. Too much filler.

by Anonymousreply 86September 5, 2013 12:13 AM

I saw him on tv today and though I still have no bald spot my hair is no way as thick as it was in the 90's. I would love to get a wig like that and run around thinking I am some fucking big deal.

by Anonymousreply 87January 23, 2014 2:16 AM

I don't wear a wig you assholes.

by Anonymousreply 88January 23, 2014 2:33 AM

Why would anyone think kerry would be a lousy president- I mean as bad as Bush or hypothetically, Buchanan?

by Anonymousreply 89January 23, 2014 2:40 AM

It looks like a healthy one, his face seems very soft with lack of muscle tone. Even for his age he seems quite weak and slow, everything he says appears to be quite scripted and not believable. Especially, when he wags his finger as if to accentuate the point.

There are people who are in much better condition that could do that job, he needs to be retired.

The man does not have a strong and vital appearance.

by Anonymousreply 90March 6, 2014 1:01 PM

Definitely! I know, because I wear one too. The problem many wigs have is that they qare too voluminous, and our natural conceit as men is to have a really thick head of hear...and there is our downfall!

by Anonymousreply 91January 12, 2015 6:11 PM

R2: Mitt Romney lost to Obama TWICE, not once, TWICE. and he's considering running again?

by Anonymousreply 92January 12, 2015 6:15 PM

R92, he only got the nomination once, in '12, and lost then to Obama. He lost to McCain, not Obama, when he failed to secure his party's nomination in '08.

by Anonymousreply 93January 12, 2015 6:47 PM

He has definitely botoxed since become Secretary of State

by Anonymousreply 94January 12, 2015 6:57 PM

Lots of bald queens on DL, obviously.

by Anonymousreply 95January 12, 2015 7:28 PM

Because he's a shady "public servant" and he's shoved at us as someone important. John Kerry and John Roberts among other both wear wigs.

by Anonymousreply 96January 12, 2015 7:35 PM

Botox and fillers were supposed to make him young and sexy, but instead he looks like John Hurt in "The Elephant Man" (or Rondo Hatton in a low-lit, expense-acccount restaurant).

by Anonymousreply 97January 12, 2015 7:35 PM

R96 you judge his public service record based on his hair/piece? Hmmmm...

by Anonymousreply 98January 12, 2015 7:39 PM

[quote]the man couldn't beat the second worst president in history (Buchanan was worst).

Warren G. Harding was the worst.

by Anonymousreply 99January 12, 2015 7:44 PM

R98, I judge it based he's a Skull and Bones member who participated in a rigged election. The wig is just the comedic aspect to his villainy against my beloved country.

by Anonymousreply 100January 12, 2015 7:52 PM

R93: yes, that was my point, he lost twice

by Anonymousreply 101January 12, 2015 8:51 PM

I Googled "John Kerry toupee" and saw this photo, and at first I wasn't sure if it wasn't really him, it seemed more like a lookalike:

At DataLounge, everyone is gay and wears a wig.

by Anonymousreply 107January 12, 2015 9:37 PM

I'd sooner think of Michelle and her wig, before I consider Kerry wearing one.

by Anonymousreply 108January 12, 2015 9:39 PM

Come on. That creepy old cryptomason has had a nose job and wears a wig.

by Anonymousreply 109January 12, 2015 9:40 PM

He is not wearing a wig. He has always had very thick hair and now it is gray. What he does have is face fillers that make him look horrible. At some point a few years ago, someone must have told him his face was looking like the crypt keeper. It was quite thin and lined. The next time we see him, his face is twice as wide and odd looking. The fake face makes the hair look fake as well, but it isn't.

by Anonymousreply 110January 12, 2015 9:54 PM

Oh, OK.

by Anonymousreply 111January 12, 2015 9:59 PM

His face fillers just make him look bloated.

by Anonymousreply 112January 12, 2015 10:53 PM

That's him officer I'd recognize him anywhere

by Anonymousreply 113February 6, 2015 2:42 AM

Seriously.......those of you with serious balding issues are the ONLY ones who care.

Sorry, gurls, but it is his hair.

by Anonymousreply 114February 6, 2015 2:48 AM

It is not a wig.

by Anonymousreply 115February 6, 2015 3:25 AM

At least Kerry, unlike Joe Biden, can put 2 and 2 together and come up with 4.

by Anonymousreply 116February 7, 2015 8:15 PM

I've known him personally for several years. That's his real hair but like most public-facing figures, his hair gets professionally shellacked like a Christmas tree ornament. In person, when he isn't media ready, it doesn't have the same volume or illuminated sheen.

His face. He had a nasty hockey accident a few years back that truly changed the contours and alignment of some of his features. Not sure, but he may have had some reconstructive work done in the meantime.

He's a good guy. I'd be genuinely shocked if we ever see a scandal from him.

by Anonymousreply 117February 9, 2015 8:39 AM

He does not wear a wig. His head has been thick with hair just like that ever since he appeared on the political scene. And his son has hair just like that.

by Anonymousreply 118February 9, 2015 8:59 AM

yes
