Vegetables, one of those pre-pack things for stews. No Vegan here, but sometimes like a mix of chopped vegetables done in butter and e.v. olive oil, a little salt, a little sugar, over a thin pasta.

I just bought (2 days ago) this fabulous new laptop. It was $349 at Office Depot. It's a HP 2000 Notebook with Windows 8. I love it! I've never owned a laptop. I have a Compaq Presario desktop (1 1/2 years old) I like to use, but this little computer is great for surfing while I'm in bed. Only thing I HATE is the touchpad mouse thingy. It sucks. I 'fin to attach a wireless mouse to it instead.

by Anonymousreply 2801/21/2013

R28, sometimes you can make them work better by going to the "mouse" control panel and tweaking some of the configuration options. Have you tried that?

by Anonymousreply 2901/21/2013

Yesterday I bought a pair of different compact fluorescent bulbs to try in my bathroom -- the last ones were "daylight" and these are "warm," whatever that means.

The light from the first ones provided what I call "operating-room-blue-white" light -- too stark!

These new bulbs were on sale.

Haven't installed them yet; hope they render good, soft light.
