This story will disappear very quickly, It has no legs.

The linked article is a blurb so we don't find out if the heads were frozen or just in crates with bubble wrap or something.
There is a Google ad for Chicago dermatology at the linked page.

Ponder this, bitches: no matter how bad you think you have it, there are people that don't have a head, and do you hear them complaining?
I didn't think so.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||01/15/2013|
Decapitated heads? That's HILARIOUS!!!

Yes because severing a human head from its body is so easily accomplished.

I know I have nearly lost my head several times trying to make connecting flights there
|by Anonymous||reply 11||01/15/2013|
The Tribune has it as their lead wire story. The shipment came from Rome and was marked research but the final destination was unclear and the shipper has yet to come forward...

Reminds me of this story:
CALCUTTA, India (Reuters) - Police in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal found 86 human skulls at a bus stand after complaints of a stench coming from an unclaimed bag.

I wouldn't go as far as r18, yet Chicago is a miserable city.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||01/15/2013|
r19, many many many people feel otherwise about Chicago. Count me as one of the millions who escaped and counting my blessings every single day that I did.

I don't understand the big hoopla. I've always been told that Chicagoans love to get head.

Don't blow your tops people! Medical research noggins.

|by Anonymous||reply 32||01/15/2013|
They don't have crematoria in Chicago either, all the bodies have to be shipped to the suburbs.

And if you go to Steamworks on a Friday night, you can see all those assholes lined up like Christmas lights, waiting in vain for the three remaining tops in Chicago to give them a ride!

Im with R42, I was born and raised on the North Side. Live in Portland now. When I went back to see family over the holiday, the first thing I heard in OHare was some guy with one of those loud-mouth Chicago accents. Everyone there is just rude. Any sentimentality went right out the window, I'm never going back.

|by Anonymous||reply 61||01/19/2013|
They had bed bugs on them too.

This thread is useless without pictures.
|by Anonymous||reply 65||01/19/2013|
Is anyone else having trouble loading DL?
|by Anonymous||reply 66||01/19/2013|
yes. can only access thread in my faves or the side bar.
|by Anonymous||reply 67||01/19/2013|
Sorry to post this here, but DL has badly malfunctioned.
I can't see any new threads or any new posts to extant threads no matter what is tried. I wound up here by clicking on the left column of bold "featured" threads.
In the past, clicking on "Data Lounge" from my browser would open the DL site, current threads would "self populate" in the center, and current thread titles would appear underlined in the right-hand column. Now nothing will happen in either column.
I'm a former I.T. guy and none of my self-help efforts have worked. Have tried using the only "help" function that's available without results.
Does one have to be a paying member to access further help functions and/or obtain assistance from the DL webmaster?
Any help will be greatly appreciated; please reply in this thread.
Thanks in advance!
|by Anonymous||reply 68||01/19/2013|
Oh good. I thought I was in some kind of Datalounge ground hog HELL. THANK YOU R67.
|by Anonymous||reply 69||01/19/2013|
I'm a paying member and I have the same problem, R69. I'm sure DL knows and is working on the problem since more people are having this issue.
|by Anonymous||reply 70||01/19/2013|
Geez I thought I was the only one. Glad to see it is just not me.
As a paying member I can log in. But once you, it is like you haven't logging in at all. Just remains the same.
Yes you can try to add a post. But once you do and press submit, an error message comes up saying. Unable to create post.
|by Anonymous||reply 71||01/19/2013|
I can add a post and I also just added a new thread about the outage. No problem. But the site is still down.
I've emailed the webbie, just in case.
|by Anonymous||reply 72||01/19/2013|
What is the title of that thread R72? Maybe I can find it on google search.
|by Anonymous||reply 73||01/19/2013|
What did you do during the outage? is the title and then: Some of us were talking on the 17 heads thread.

Same problem here. All I can see are my old thread that I had on threadwatcher. I thought maybe it was just me having the problem!

|by Anonymous||reply 81||01/19/2013|
I went to that Z site and it seems the 4 or 5 people that I didn't miss once they left here are talking to themselves. I'd rather populate a Human Head thread.
|by Anonymous||reply 83||01/19/2013|
They're probably glad you didn't stick around R83. You seem boorish.
|by Anonymous||reply 84||01/19/2013|
Fifty years from now, you'll be able to tell your grandchildren about the time you spent hidden in the human heads thread during the Great Datalounge Outage of '13.
|by Anonymous||reply 85||01/19/2013|
Back up but my $18 bucks is useless as I can't start threads. They all get rejected. Anyone else having a problem?
|by Anonymous||reply 86||01/20/2013|
Uh oh! Down again. They killed my "What did you do in the outage" thread so I'm staying here.
|by Anonymous||reply 87||01/20/2013|
Thank god it's not just me. Is it still fucked up?
|by Anonymous||reply 88||01/20/2013|

Where is it? I tried finding it yesterday but it it said site closed due to violations of user agreement or something.
|by Anonymous||reply 89||01/20/2013|
I got the same message when I looked.
|by Anonymous||reply 90||01/20/2013|
R90 it's still on zetaboards but called zatalounge.
|by Anonymous||reply 91||01/20/2013|
I have a shitty old computer and a terribly old server, but DL has been fine for me for the past couple days.
|by Anonymous||reply 92||01/20/2013|
Not showing new threads at all for me. Any suggestions?
|by Anonymous||reply 93||01/20/2013|
I'm assuming that since you're on the head thread, R92, that's no longer true. Here's another broke thread.
